Jasmine villa is situated in our large landscaped gardens close to the pool
Jasmine is one of our three beautiful villas set in our spacious landscaped gardens which have been carefully chosen for their beautiful flowers and foliage, allowing for a private experience, with mature trees providing shade from the sun.
Our emerald green lawns give the opportunity to lay back and sunbath around the pool, or play a few lawn games.
The pool is a massive 20 meters by 10 meters, perfect for relaxing in or for the serious swimmer to get some lengths in. The pool is situated 50 meters from the villa and shared with the other 2 villas. Available 24hrs a day.
The villa has two bedrooms, one large double and an even bigger triple, with the option of adding an extra single bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Space to sit inside and eat or enjoy our outside patio area with gas BBQ for alfresco dinning.
We have a gated private parking spot for each villa. Guests are very welcome to enjoy our various gardens at any time to relax and enjoy the Cretan flowers and wildlife in perfect tranquility.
Our village is located at the foot of the mountain Malaxa, and has the feel of a traditional Greek village, yet only 4km from Chania. There are two local mini markets a chemist and a coffee shop. There is also a traditional taverna serving food and drink.
Meltemaki beach is 2km away it is a beautiful sandy beach popular with the locals. There is a fish taverna, perfect for experiencing authentic Mediterranean seafood.
There is a village bus stop 30 meters from the entrance to the car park, and a bus stop 1km away on the main road from Souda to Chania, buses run every 20 minutes from there and three times a day from the village bus stop.
Taxis from the center of Chania back to Crete retreat are around 8 euro.
Crete retreat is a family run business and we live on site so are available if needed. We are animal lovers with dogs, cats, chickens and parakeets kept within our own premises. Guests are welcome to arrange a visit.
In our opinion Crete Retreat is a perfect environment for people who wish to explore and enjoy Crete, from a beautiful and unique oasis.
Tourist Tax 2025
As of 1st January 2025 the Greek authorities have increased the Tourist tax from a nominal amount.
The new rates are set out below and will be collected on check in.
November to April €2 per night
April to October €8 per night
