Great location and local feel!

We loved the apartment! It was more than enough room and had grocery stores nearby to easily stock the kitchen! Close to the metro, with easy access to then get to Passeig de Gracia for regional trains. Loved the cute neighborhood and we explored the local parks that people hang out in for the evenings. Easy to get to all the sights! Loved the charm of the apartment. It really gave you a local feel.

Barcelona vacation

Spent 5 great days in Barcelona. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Great access to two different metro stops. No need for a car. Maite provided good recommendations for food.

In a very good neighborhood, close to metro and public transportation. Host was amazing at check-in giving multiple suggestions on restaurants, grocery stores, etc. only room for improvement is the large bed was quite rigid and hard to sleep on. All things considered, I would definitely return.

Great apartment in Barcelona

Lovely apartment for 5 lady friends. Very comfortable and lovely welcome from Maite. The only problem was when we arrived in the taxi I was following the directions given on the VRBO app and it took us a long way down the road. There was no number given in the instructions! Fortunately Maite had seen us and phoned us to turn around! Very near the Metro station and easy to get around. Nice Lebanese restaurant a couple of minutes away. Would stay here again.

Good location for visiting the city

The apartment was in a building a few blocks away from the Fontana stop of the underground. The neighborhood is safe and fun to walk around; it's also easy to run errands at the nearby grocers, bakery, etc. The apartment was clean; the building was clean. Maite, the local contact with the rental company Let's Holidays, did a wonderful job with the check in. The apartment had two spacious bedrooms; the third bedroom is small (as shown in the picture), but still good to have. The apartment also has two bathrooms - one large and one small - which was nice to have. The building that the apartment was in was clean, safe and quiet. Unfortunately an apartment, in the building next door, that shared a wall with our apartment threw a party that started at 10:00 p.m. (22 hours) one night and continued into the next day - loud music that started the night before continued going at 2:00 pm (14 hrs) . This is not a fault of the VRBO, but is a factor to consider if renting in a city neighborhood. Street noise was not loud. We were in the apartment in April, and had the windows open from time to time, and the noise was reasonable. The apartment has a nice layout, and the kitchen had lots of dishes. We did not use the stove or oven. We did not use the washer or dryer in the utility room. The apartment has a little wear and tear, and some minor repairs are needed to doors as well as generally painting some areas. The rental payments and paperwork is not finalized through the VRBO website, but rather via a link, provided by Let's Holiday, to a separate portal system. This was initially confusing, but a Let's Holidays's central contact addressed questions about the different, separate system for payment. Having more information about this before making the reservation would be welcomed. This may not be an issue for European travellers, but it was a departure from how VRBO reservations are made in the U.S.

A nice stay in Gracia

Well located in the Gracia neighborhood, we had plenty of food and shopping options within walking distance. Fontana station and numerous bus stops made it easy to access the rest of Barcelona. 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths were perfect for traveling with our teenagers. The washer and a ventless dryer (+ drying rack) were very helpful in minimizing our luggage!

Super friendly and helpful

We only had one day in Barcelona and this apartment was a great. Host gave us great recommendations one what we should see and how to get around. Would stay there again especially if I had more time.

Great apt in great area

We loved our time in Barcelona! This apartment was lovely, perfect for our family for a couple days. Maite was so gracious at check in and gave us several ideas for places to go and eat, we took advantage of some of the recommendations and thoroughly enjoyed them. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area!
