Residential yet central, the property is next to the Neoclassical University Palace in the heart of the embassies district. A pleasant walk along the riverside will take you to the Cathedral within 15 minutes. Easy access to French and German motorways opens up Alsace and the Black Forest for a great touring experience with nature reserves, mountains, forest and castles as well as the Alsace and German vineyards with their charming villages and enticing wine tastings.

EASY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Bus N°10 is a mere block away and tram stops only a 4-minute walk. You can reach the historic city centre (Cathedral, Petite France, Museums) in just 8 minutes by public transport. Bus or tram will also get you right into the SNCF Strasbourg Main Railway Station within 10 minutes.

BEAUTIFUL PARKS

The apartment is right next to the Botanical Gardens and the University Palace Gardens. It is also just 100 metres from the river with its greenery and quayside promenade to take you along to the Cathedral.

Walking the other way along the water you reach the Orangerie Gardens and European Institutions in under ten minutes.

THE ROOMS

The main living room has double exposure and is wonderfully sunny and large (40 m2 / 430 sq ft); the lounge area has two large comfortable armchairs and a sofa-bed (sleeps 2).

The master bedroom has a large en-suite bathroom (and a separate WC). Part of bathroom is fitted with large dressing room wardrobes.

The second double bedroom has a full bathroom (and a separate WC) accessible from the front hall. Both bathrooms have baths with showers.

A third (small) room serves as a reading den/study but holds a single bed and can be used as a single bedroom. Depending on requirements, for longer stays, the bed can be removed to leave more space as an office if required.

The separate kitchen has a built-in table with four stools on rollers.

SERVICES & FACILITIES INCLUDED

The apartment also offers a dishwasher, a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. Fresh sheets and towels are provided for every stay and cleaning is included (provided weekly for long stays).

There is a television with multiple channels and DVD player. Free WiFi Internet access is offered and includes free telephone calls to many countries.

Parking is available in the building by separate agreement.

A nice roomy and centrally-located apartment. Our first impression fell short of our expectations. We were left standing in the street by a tardy property manager, who, ultimately had limited knowledge of this property. By contrast, the property owner, whom was out of town, was extremely helpful and understanding. The housekeeping detail had not provided towels nor removed soiled bedding from the previous renters. With the involvement of the owner, since the property manager refused to respond, we received towels the following day. The front interior door handle was broken off and left on the counter. Again, no response from the property manager. The final negative...

Only one set of entry keys for two couples. Very inconvenient.

Okay, enough about the negatives. The apartment was well-equipped and very comfortable. The beds, kitchen, showers were above average. The tv/entertainment center was top notch. Anthony, the owner, had compiled a book of tips and recommendations that time and time again made our visit easy. Multiple grocery stores, restaurants, bars and entertainment within easy walking. Location, location, location. In the upscale Embassy District adjacent to the university.

Knowing now what we know, would we stay here again? Absolutely! In retrospect, the problems that we had were either caused by or ignored by the incompetence of the property manager. I have confidence that the owner will address this issue.

Very comfortable home, great location

We enjoyed our stay very much. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was a wonderful place to stay for our six nights in Strasbourg. We were able to walk to the Cathedral and many restaurants - and Uber worked really well for us when we had a longer trek. Communicating with Anthony and checking in/out were both very easy. When I return to Strasbourg it will be nice staying here again.

Perfect Strasbourg Location in a Lovely Apartment

The apartment is ideally located and adequately furnished and provided comfortable accommodations for five adults. It is a 15 minute walk to the Cathedral, but located away from the bustle of tourists. The windows open to a city street so there is some street noise on a summer night. The kitchen was equipped enough for us to make home cooked meals. There are excellent restaurants in every direction, and there's a notebook in the apartment full of information about recommended places to eat. If you are a tourist, I recommend buying the Passbook at the TI, which will save you money if you want to take a boat ride, rent bikes, visit museums and see the Cathedral clock. We would stay here again.

Quiet and relaxing

Close to public transport if you need it but the city center is also within easy walking distance. Quiet location in the city. Relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. A few minor glitches which the owner put right.

Great place for holidays or work!

Great place to stay: calm in a quit area but at the same time very close to the tram (direct line to get the European Institutuions) and very close to the centre, just 10 minutes walking to the Cathredal. The owner is very freindly and easy going. We will repeat whenever we go to Strasbourg!
