All you need for a relaxing vacation

We spent a week with friends (3 families) in La Tourelle. The house is clean an comfortable, with adequate bedrooms each with a private bathroom. Especially the outdoors area is a luxury, with private park and garden, swimming pool and tennis court. The surrounding area is not the most exciting part of France, but the large private domain takes away almost any need to leave the property.

Wunderschöne Tage auf Chateau d'Amoy

Tolles Objekt. Genau, wie beschrieben gab es einen tollen Pool einen schönen und sehr liebevoll gestalteten Garten, einen Tennisplatz und einen riesigen Park, der das Anwesen umzingelt, ganz für uns alleine. Die Zimmer waren geschmackvoll eingerichtet und jedes Zimmer hatte ein eigenes, sauberes, Bad. Die Küche war schön geräumig und es gab genug Ausstattung, um tolle Gerichte zu kochen. Super war auch das Poolhouse mit Toiletten und den Ablagemöglichkeiten. Es gab schöne Liegen, Liegestühle und einen Sonnenschirm. Ein Backsteingrill war vorhanden und es gab tolle Möglichkeiten draußen zu essen, wie zB unter einem Weinrebendach. Das Wohnzimmer eher klein und dunkel, aber das interessierte uns nicht sonderlich, weil wir den ganzen Tag draußen verbracht haben. Die Tischtennisplatte war kaputt, aber angesichts der vielen anderen Möglichkeiten, war es auch nicht weiter tragisch.Waschmaschine und Trockner sind vorhanden. Ein großer Supermarkt ist mit 10 min Autofahrt zu erreichen. Wir haben sehr gerne hier unsere Urlaubstage verbracht und erinnern uns gerne daran zurück. Wir waren ganz allein auf dem Anwesen, nur der Gärtner werkelt regelmäßig, aber er störte uns nie. An alles ist gedacht worden und dabei sind die Elemente mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet worden. Vielen Dank Sophie für diesen malerischen Urlaubsort.

Comme une maison de famille

Nous avons occupé la Tourelle pour trois jours à sa capacité maximale: 7 adultes (3 couples et un" solo"), et 6 enfants (3 ans, 5 ans, 12, 14 et 16 ans), soit 3 générations sous le même toit. Nous avons apprécié le calme et le charme de cette belle propriété située à moins d'une heure et demie de route du centre de Paris, mais aussi assez proche d'Orléans. Extrêmement bien agencée, bien équipée, elle permet une cohabitation harmonieuse de différentes générations sans gêne pour les uns et les autres. A l'étage, salle de bain ou de douche privative pour chaque chambre, literie de qualité, buanderie, décoration soignée sans excès, mobilier de charme, matériaux de bonne qualité. Entre gel et brouillard nous avons peu profité des abords, mais les bois autour du château offrent une belle vue sur le parc et le château, et il y a des lieux intéressants à visiter alentour. En été le court de tennis, la piscine (vérifier au préalable son mode de sécurisation en présence de jeunes enfants ne sachant pas nager), feront des heureux. Au rez-de-chaussée une vaste cuisine bien équipée, une salle à manger assez grande pour 13 (difficile d'aller au-delà, sinon il faut faire deux services), un salon très agréable, font que nous n'avons pas souffert de rester ensemble à l'intérieur en ce séjour hivernal. Nous avons bien profité du poêle à bois (et de la réserve de bois mise gracieusement à notre disposition) qui une fois mis en marche a diffusé une chaleur très agréable dans la maison. Nous nous sommes sentis comme dans une maison de famille, et nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir pour un autre séjour. Excellent contact avec la propriétaire et maison très agréable à vivre.

Small Oasis in the middle of agricultural France

We were 12 guests, 6 adults and 6 children. The bedrooms all en-suite were comfortable and apart from one king size room all doubles split into two singles which was a welcome bonus for the girls. We spent the majority of our time exploring the woods, playing tennis and swimming (great pool house too). There’s a great bakery 10 mins away for fresh bread and supermarkets about the same. Lots of chateaux to visit in area and Orleans well worth a visit which is beautiful. Kitchen a little on the small side but we spent most of our time outside so that did not impact on our enjoyment. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for space, time out and tennis! The court was used constantly! Thank you Sophie

Erholung Pur

Das Anwesen liegt in einer wunderschönen und nicht touristischen Umgebung. Wir waren mit unseren vier Kindern Ende Juli Anfang August dort und hatten traumhaftes Wetter. Wir konnten so die fantastischen Außenanlagen (Tennisplatz, Pool, Tischtennisplatte etc.), die nur für uns zur Verfügung standen nutzen und die Ruhe genießen. Es gab keine Nachbarn. Am Tag war der Gärtner da, der extrem hilfsbereit ist und sehr bemüht war, unsere Ruhe nicht zu stören. Die Schlafzimmer und Bäder waren sauber, ebenso wie die Bettwäsche und Handtücher. Wir nutzten die Wohn- und Esszimmer kaum, da wir die ganze Zeit im Freien waren, aber beide Räume waren geräumig. Die Lage des Anwesens ist Perfekt für Urlauber, die Erholung und Kultur verbinden wollen. Paris ist 90 Minuten entfernt und viele schöne Loire Schlösser in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Es war ein toller Urlaub, wir werden da sicherlich wieder hinfahren.

Idyllic Property

Stayed here with close family, 12 of us in fact, end of July beginning of August. The weather was fantastic and so we made great use of all the outdoor facilities (Tennis court, swimming pool, table tennis, Walk in the woods, deck chairs in the sun...) The property had everything we could wish for to make our stay wonderful. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, so were the linen and towels provided. We barely used he living and dining rooms as we were outdoors for the entire time, however both rooms were spacious and could easily accommodate our group. The best thing for all of us was that there was no one else around so any noise we made did not bother anyone. The children loved the woods,a place for them to explore and for us all to hide from the sun when the heat was too much. The Chateau was not too far from local amenities and each morning we would drive to the boulangerie for fresh baguettes and treats. There were supermarkets at 10 minutes drive in Janville. Overall a great holiday. Would definitely do again.

A great holiday destination

A great place for a family holiday, with plenty of space for everyone. Very relaxing and quiet. The weather was brilliant so lots of time spent in the pool and we ate out by the pool most days. There are quite a few chateaux nearby and there was lots to see and do.

Piscine et jardin pour passer un super weekend

Nous avons passé un super weekend dans le Château La Tourelle. Nous avons eu un très beau soleil et nous avons donc pu profiter de la piscine et de l'extérieur qui sont très bien entretenus. L'accueil et le départ se sont fait très facilement et sans contraintes. Les chambres sont très spacieuses, la literie est top et chaque chambre a sa propre salle de bain : le luxe ! La décoration et l'ameublement ont été sélectionnés avec goût. Enfin, le cadre, le calme et la tranquillité sont un réel plus pour un weekend entre amis ou en famille. Je vous recommande vivement d'aller y passer quelques jours :)

Great accommodation for large groups with children

Lovely building, decent rooms, large grassfield in front of the house and lots of sport amenities (tennis on hard court, swimming in the heated pool, running in the park) in a very peacefull surrounding. Close to Orleans, la Loire and its chateaux! Recommended!

Week-end extra entre amis

Nous avons passé un week-end extra à La Tourelle entourés d'amis. Les enfants se sont amusés à la piscine, au tennis, sont allés ramasser des oeufs frais au poulailler et ont profité du jardin clos sur lequel ouvre le gîte. Les chambres sont spacieuses (super literie) et toutes dotées d'une salle de bains et de toilettes, c'est très confortable! A refaire!

Très bon séjour dans une jolie propriété

Nous sommes partis à 13 dans ce très joli domaine, maison indépendante d'un beau petit chateau. Tout est neuf et de bon goût, chacune des 6 chambres possède sa salle de bain et ses toilettes. La cuisine est bien équipée côté électroménager mais il manque un certain nombre de petites choses du quotidien (vu avec les propriétaires donc probablement corrigé après notre séjour). Le terrain de tennis est juste en face de la maison, il y a une piscine (pas utilisée car nous sommes venus à Noel). Un + : la propriété donne sur un bois bien entretenu, dans lequel il est agréable de se promener. Les propriétaires sont agréables. Je recommande vivement ce lieu.

Superbe we pres d'Orléans

L'endroit est magnifique, le gîte très bien arrangé, simple et avec beaucoup de goût, literie très confortable (les lits font 160), salles de bain impeccables et une pour chaque chambre.... Les propriétaires vous accueillent avec gentillesse et sont aux petits soins, c'est hyper agréable... Il y a aussi une magnifique salle de réception pour organiser des fêtes, j'aimerais bien essayer une autre fois, car c'est vraiment superbe. Et aussi revenir en été pour profiter de la piscine et du tennis... (si on peut?) En tous cas, 5/5 pour cet endroit génial pour un we en famille ou avec des amis... On a adoré. C'est grand et très chouette.
