Apartamento completamente renovado, muy luminoso con todas las comodidades necesarias para tus vacaciones en Barcelona. Tiene capacidad para 5 personas, distribuidas en 3 habitaciones: la habitación principal consta de un cama doble de 1,80 metros; una habitación doble con litera y una habitación triple con litera y una cama individual de 1,20 metros. Además, el apartamento consta de dos baños completos con ducha y un amplio salón comedor con cocina americana, donde podréis compartir vuestras anécdotas después de un largo día visitando la ciudad. No dejes pasar la oportunidad de conocer el barrio más de moda de Barcelona a tan sólo 10 minutos del centro. Entre la variedad de atractivos de esta zona de la ciudad, hay algunos tan especiales como la histórica institución penitenciaria de la Modelo. Hoy en día reconvertida en equipamiento cultural y recreativo, este antiguo edificio forma parte de la historia de la ciudad y está situada justo enfrente del apartamento. Tanto si vienes a Barcelona por negocios o de vacaciones en familia, este apartamento es el punto de inicio ideal para explorar la ciudad. Un corto paseo te llevará a la plaza de España, sede de la Feria de Barcelona y también la famosa Fuente Mágica de Montjuïc, donde todos los días se realiza una espectacular exhibición de agua, música, luz y color. Los principales medios de transporte estan al girar la esquina. El autobús del aeropuerto está muy cerca, en Plaza España, al igual que la estación de Sants. Acceso a pie: a 100 metros de la estación de metro, cerca de paradas de taxis y de autobús. A 300 metros de la estación de Sants. 10 minutos de la plaza de España (Feria de Barcelona, parada del Aerobus, fuentes mágicas y Parc de Montjuïc). En metro: 2 paradas hasta Paseo de Gracia, 4 paradas hasta la Sagrada Familia, 5 paradas de las Ramblas, el barrio gótico y el puerto viejo.

Great Apartment

We really enjoyed our stay. It is a large apartment and had plenty of room for the four us, and was well appointed with many modern updates. It is located close to the main train station which was very convenient. We would definitely stay there again.

Check-in was super easy and convenient. The apartment is in a quiet location and super close to subway lines. It was very well stocked with everything you needed and we were most impressed with how CLEAN the apartment was!! The beds were very comfortable as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect apartment!

Wonderful apartment, clean, quiet location and tastefully decorated. Property managers are helpful and responsive and even called us prior to the trip and offered to decorate the apartment in balloons for our daughters 18th birthday! Just wonderful!

Great apartment, good location.

This place was amazing. Walking distance to food and bars. Easy to get a taxi. Beautiful, comfortable place to stay. Felt safe. Roomy for 7 people. Great Location. View of a prison across the street but it’s inactive. Would definitely stay here again. The staff was just a phone call away and very pleasant. Willing to help with any accommodations. comfortable, modern apartment

Our family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed staying in this modern apartment. The kitchen is up-to-date and well equipped as are the bathrooms. The living room and bedrooms were comfortable as well. There is a metro stop less than a block away and another metro line 2 or so blocks away. The people at Enjoybcn were very friendly and helpful with advice about transportation particularly. They also arranged a transfer for the 7 of us plus our granddaughter and all our luggage to the airport at the end of our stay. We highly recommend this apartment and Enjoybcn.

Great Apartment complicated checkin

Checkin is not possible before 1500. If you are a trans-Atlantic traveler, you need to put you bags in a transit locker at one location then retrieve your keys at another location THEN go to the apartment where a magnetic key is difficult to open the apartment door. After a 48Euro taxi ride from the Gaudi Hotel ( where our friends were staying and we were able to Store our luggage) we arrived at the apartment. As we left the apartment in our rental car, within a block, we were targeted by thieves who punctuated our tires and robbed us. Never again, Barcelona!

Referred to the aspects you tell us in our review, we wanted to comment you: Regarding the check in, as another guest checked out that morning and the cleaning must be done after it, it was not possible for us to provide an early check in. If it would have been possible, we had been more than glad to offer it to you. Concerning the luggage, we do provide our office on working hours to store it, although we understand it could not be convenient for you. As for the key procedure, we do it this way to give more independence to our guests, because sometimes they arrive on wee hours and it is very important for us that they can access the apartment as soon as possible, without depending on us. We regret that you had you found difficult using the magnetic key. Next time, do not hesitate to call us and we'd guide you on how to operate it. Likewise, we take note about what you comment to improve our service. Lastly, we are very sorry that you were robbed and your holiday got ruined. This is the last thing one wants on a trip, and we suppose you have been through a very hard time. Clean and Convenient

The apartment was clean and well represented in the photographs/description listed on the HomeAway site. Wish there had been wash cloths and a dryer. There is a towel for each person (7) and a washer but if hung out to dry, towels ended up very stiff. Warning: I completely misunderstood that the key had to be picked up a couple of miles away from the actual apartment. Not sure why a lock box couldn’t be installed in the same building? Shopping and transportation was nearby, very convenient. There was a new baby in the apartment across from this one, which kept some of our family members up overnight. I believe we are still waiting on our deposit refund, 2 weeks have gone by. We would stay in this apartment again if ever in Barcelona in the future.

Lovely apartment, clean and safe!

This apartment was very well maintained, clean and my family felt very safe staying here. I would recommend this property. One thing to note, it is not really within walking distance to most of the major sights (we used taxis to get around). However, I would not recommend booking this through VRBO. It's almost like the company is half using VRBO. I could not pay my final bill on VRBO and, also, it was not accurate - they charged me additional money for "tourism tax" at the end. It was difficult to access info and contact the company through VRBO as well. Also very inconvenient was that they expected me to come pick up the keys to check-in. I've never had to do that with a property before - no one wants to have to deal with that when they are exhausted after traveling and carrying all their luggage. I would highly recommend that they start meeting clients at the properties with keys. But the apartment itself was lovely and I would recommend it.

Anyway, if next time you come to Barcelona you want to be more central, we can offer you alternatives. As for the VRBO process, we have never had complaints about it. Next time, if you contact them, they will be more than glad to explain any process related to the booking. Related to our key retrieval process, we appreciate your feedback and are on or way to improve this point. Finally, regarding the tourist tax, is is common for all the cities in Spain and Europe at least. As this is an added expense that is imposed to us by the goverment, we do not include it in our apartment price. Centrally located and clean

Overall, we had a very positive experience staying here. The apartment is a 1 minute walk from the Entenca metro stop and there are grocery stores within a 5 minute walk. Picking up the key is inconvenient, but when you check out you can just leave the keys in the apartment, so at least you don't have to go somewhere else to drop them off. The apartment was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There is plenty of hot water! We had 7 people staying here and never had a problem running out of hot water. One family next door has a baby and a toddler and on 2 out of our 7 nights we could hear the children crying very late at night, but it wasn't terribly bothersome. The apartment is 99 steps up if you want the exercise, or there is a small elevator that will hold 4 people. There is a prison next door that closed in 2017, so the street is relatively quiet since it's not very busy. The prison opens its doors for self-guided tours on Saturday afternoons and all day on Sundays. We took advantage of that and learned a lot! We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect apartment for our family trip to Barcelona!

This place is as lovely and welcoming as it looks in the pictures. The living room and kitchen space are fantastic gathering areas to dine and hang out, as you plan your days ahead. Very closely located to the main train station, with 2 subway lines even closer. Quiet building served by only one tiny and slow elevator. If you opt to walk, it's 5 flights of stairs so take that into consideration when booking. As a family of four- me, my husband and our two boys (18 and 21 yo) the space was perfect. The boys went out at night and didn't wake us when they came back in the wee hours. It's a 3 bedroom/2 bath that could comfortably sleep 6. But you should note that the shower stalls are VERY small- typical in EU but tough for larger people to navigate. The beds were very comfy and the property was very clean. The kitchen had all you need for cooking/serving meals but no basics- salt, pepper, coffee, etc- were provided. Also, no ice trays. Again, that is common in the EU but Americans tend to like their ice. Washer was located on the terrace off the bath. It was small and we did not use it. The apartment looks out on to an old prison... it's no longer active and (I think) is now a museum. The one complaint- and you see it in nearly every review- is the key pick up. Though it was -in theory- easy to do, it was well out of the way and added extra cost in a cab (no Ubers in Spain) and extra time away from our vacation. We arrived via train, which was less than 2 blocks from the apartment. But it was a 15 min cab in heavy traffic to get to the place to get the key. All instructions for key pick up were easy and accurate, but it would be much easier if the key was made available AT the property. Property management was great with communications and correspondence, though we never met anyone in person. We would definitely stay here again, should our travels bring us back to BCN.

Nice place to stay for new year's eve

Clean and spacious apartment very well equipped for 6 people.

Nice place but be aware

Overall this place is nice. Be aware of a few things before you stay. (1) understand the square footage, the pictures are as compared to the actual size (2) the only thing this place is really close to is the main train station Sants, a metro stop - a plus, and it overlooks a prison that is now a museum which is actually pretty cool. (3) VRBO does not handle the whole check in process which is a pain. You're required to travel to another part of Barcleona to get the key and the online checkin via the property manager was last minute and errored out a few times. (4) the third floor is actually the 5th which is typical in Spain. All that said, our family of 7 (including in-laws) had a nice time in this clean and overall nice place.

As you say, the apartment is close to Sants Station, that is one of the key stations in the city so you can take trains that leave you in the city centre in 5 minutes and also take trains outside the city to almost every part of Catalunya and Spain. We are sorry that the check in process was not as easy as you expected. We are already working to improve it so future guests can get the key already in the building. Barcelona spring break

This was a most wonderful experience. Our apartment was incredible; large, modern, clean, bright, and well appointed. We were 1 block from the Entenca metro stop and were able to easily get anywhere in the city. The local neighborhood had a supermarket, cafes, and restaurants, including a great local tapas place. The people at EnjoyBCN were great to work with. I will absolutely be returning soon. Thanks

Great apartment in a handy location

This was the last apartment we stayed in whilst in Europe and it was definitely one of the best. It is only a short walk from the Barcelona Sants train station, which was handy when we arrived as it was amidst a taxi strike! Luckily we arrived on a Sunday so my husband got an Uber to pick up the key, which is a slight inconvenience actually. If we had arrived on the Monday there is no way we would have been able to get the key at the other location as there were absolutely no taxis users or cars available anywhere! There is a lift in the building so very handy with luggage. The apartment was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. We really felt at home after 7 weeks of travelling, comfy beds, sofas and everything we needed in the kitchen. It has heating which was very efficient. And the washer dryer was really handy. There were four of us, two adults and two teenagers, any more than that could be a little cramped. Plenty of storage for clothes etc. Plenty of TV stations to choose from when you are at home relaxing. The neighbours were very noisy unfortunately and had a small child which kept my daughter up during the night. There was quite a few supermarkets nearby which is a must, as we did not find many restaurants to eat in that were any good nearby. The train station is handy for getting to the sights. We bought a T10 ticket which is a multi person ticket with 10 trips on it, and caught the R1 or R4 to either Santa Catalunya or Arc de Triumph station to see the sights and it was only 5 minutes on the train. A little tricky to work out to start with as we were getting different information from different people at the station, but we managed in the end. I would definitely recommend this apartment to stay in.

Relaxing and enjoyable stay in a quiet location close to the city center.

Safe, secure, quiet neighborhood and apartment. Elevator is small by US standards. Definitely needed if staying on the third floor (101 steps otherwise) Apartment was clean, neat, and nicely appointed. Limited English language television channels/selections. Close to mass transit and taxis.

Walking access: 100 metres from a metro station, close to taxi stands and bus stops. 300 metres from Sants railway station. 10 minutes from Plaça d’Espanya (Barcelona Trade Fair, Aerobus stop, Magic Fountains and Parc de Montjuïc beyond).


By metro: 2 stops to Passeig de Gràcia, 4 stops to the Sagrada Familia, 5 stops to the Ramblas, Gothic Quarter and old port.
