We're a family of five from Ottawa, ON that are avid skiers and outdoor enthusiasts. We frequently entertain and share the chalet with another family.
Monique Potvin Kent purchased this condo in 2013
We purchased the chalet since my husband and I had grown up skiing at Tremblant and we love the area so much.
When we were looking for a chalet we only looked in this particular development since it is so close to the hill and to the base of the mountain. It only takes 10 minutes to walk to the bottom to hit the restaurants or go shopping. In the spring, summer and fall, there is a beautiful mountain stream that runs parallel to our chalet.
This fully renovated 3 story chalet has all the characteristics for a wonderful getaway. We had a great weekend enjoying the mountain and nearby trails, and the local deer! The location is first rate for ski-in/out and/or trail access, or for a short walk down into the village. Most impressive are the lay out and beautiful home furnishings making this chalet a modern but cozy high-end retreat. The bedding and furniture are all lovely, and the kitchen and sitting room on the middle floor are perfect for enjoying après ski or hike meals (there is also a deck with BBQ). Room for 12 in very comfortable beds and for 12 at the extended wooden table. Kids will enjoy the downstairs TV room and 2 bedrooms. 1 bedroom on middle floor and 2 on the third floor. 3 modern beautiful bathrooms with either tub or shower. Suitable for multiple families or a group of friends. You will want to return!
If you have a large family or group of friends, this is the perfect place for your ski holiday (or golf, mountain-biking etc. in other seasons). The location is fantastic with ski-in, ski-out access to the mountain as well as hiking/biking trail right on your doorstep.
The owners have gutted and completely remodelled and updated their Nanshenhaus condo... beautifully done, with modern well equipped kitchen and lofted, open concept living and dining area. Fantastic table seats 12 people, so no need to dine in shifts!
Bedrooms are spread out across 3 levels, so expect no concerns about breaking away for your own quiet time. This place comfortably sleeps 12 people in real beds (not pull-outs). Note: 4 of the beds are comprised of two double bunks in one room (great for kids and teens).
The hot tub was great for warming up and working out the kinks after a long day on the slopes.
Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Mont Tremblant is a beautiful resort that has much to offer in all four seasons. In 2015 it was rated the No. 1 Ski Resort in Eastern North-America by Ski Magazine. In addition to downhill hill skiing/snowboarding, its cross-country trails are beautiful and well maintained. In the spring, summer and fall, it is known for its hiking, and mountain biking and is most popular with triathletes. Many Ironman competitions are hosted by the resort. Tremblant is also a golfers paradise with five major golf courses within a ten minute drive. The fall colors are spectacular at Mont Tremblant. This fall our family did the Ziptrek Ecotours zipline which consists of 5 separate ziplines that come down the entire mountain. It was terrifying but exhilarating and we'd highly recommend it! Our newly renovated chalet is a 10 second ski to the hill!
