This was our 3rd time staying at Bruce and Lisa’s beautiful home. I have only good things to say about each of our stays, but perhaps my 9 year old said it best as she shouted out the window as we drove away, “Goodbye, house! I love you! I’ll miss you!”.
Property was as described, beautiful location overlooking the lake and mountains. The sunsets out back were gorgeous and the deer were frequent morning visitors. Bruce, our host was incredibly helpful, giving us plenty of recommendations for the area as well as helping navigate trails for our snowmobile trip. Property was very well equipped from the kitchen to the downstairs game room. Would definitely stay here again
This is our second time staying at this location, and it certainly won’t be our last! Bruce is an incredible host and makes sure your stay is perfect. Can’t wait to visit and stay here again!
Everything about this log home in Beaver Cove on Moosehead Lake was amazing - even better than presented on VRBO. Bruce and Lisa are the most amazing hosts - very welcoming and responsive to every question. The home is absolutely beautiful and the views match that beauty. We so enjoyed our stay here and can’t wait to go back!!!
Beautiful cabin in the woods with incredible view of Moosehead Lake. Spacious and clean it provides a wonderful place to rest and relax or get out into the outdoors for fun. Bruce and Lisa were incredible hosts and helped to make sure our stay was memorable. Highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our stay in the Moosehead Lake area! The hosts were extremely helpful and very responsive to any questions that we had prior to and during our stay. Check-in was simple and once entering the home, a lot of "whoa" and "wow" was expressed. The home really has everything you need while having spectacular views of the lake and mountains. My wife and I both needed to sneak in some work while on vacation and the high-speed internet worked great. Truly a lovely home and look forward to coming back.
We had such an amazing time at Beaver Cove. Bruce and Lisa were great hosts and helped us get settled in. We did some fishing at the lake and local ponds, swimming at the beach and spent some time at the local shops in Greenville. Took 2 trips about a half hour north and saw a few Moose! What an amazing place and can't wait to come back!
This home completes the feeling of Maine. The view is as beautiful as home! The hosts are very friendly and very responsive. We saw lots of moose just up the road! We will be back!
Gorgeous property and attentive, kind owners. This stay was so easy from booking to check out. 10 out of 10 stay. The view is beautiful and the wildlife abundant. Deer, fox, turkeys, red squirrels. There is no light pollution, so you get clear, star filled skies. We enjoyed sitting on the deck each night listening to the loons call across the water. We are already talking about when we can manage to get away for another visit.
It’s difficult to find a better accommodation and better hosts than Bruce and Lisa. The house is in spotless condition and it has all the amenities one can wish for. The kids loved the basement games and we simply loved the sunsets from the porch. Greenville is conveniently located some 10min away and the Moosehead Lake area is well worth a few days of exploring.
This was our second stay at Bruce and Lisa's beautiful home on Moosehead Lake. It was everything we remembered and more. Bruce and Lisa are both wonderful hosts, making sure we're comfortable and have everything we need. The home is beautiful with views that speak for themselves and friendly deer who pop by for a visit. We love staying here and hope to be back again one day!
A log castle in the woods. Very private. This house is awe inspiring. Not only the house but the furnishings are so beautiful. The bathroom sink? You just want to stare at it. The shower floor is gorgeous. The log bed is beautiful. Treasures for the eyes at every turn. This house highlights how man can utilize God's wonderous creations to mold them into something functional and beautiful. You can really appreciate the natural beauty of your surroundings. Not on the lake but a beautiful long range view of the lake and mountan backdrop. Enjoy the sunset over the lake from the dining table, the deck, or the huge upstair loft master bedroom. A lot of work went into this awesome vacation spot. And we didn't even make use of the rec room with the ping pong and pool tables. Lots of games are provided as well as TV in every room. Every modern convenience. I can see how this place could be enjoyed in all seasons. Spectacular. This was our second stay at this wonderful "little" log cabin". We HATE leaving this place. Can't wait to come back.
Thank you Bruce & Lisa for making our stay such a great experience. The quiet location, lovely home, and outstanding scenery made for a memorable week for our family!
Outstanding and gorgeous property! So blessed to have spent a week here and so hard to leave. This log home is breathtaking and so accommodating. Loved the outdoor living space with lake view in the distance. Lots of wildlife visitors including deer, chipmunks, woodpeckers and a hummingbird. Enjoyed nearby recreation including tubing, hiking, whitewater rafting and successful moose-sighting tour by canoe. Highly recommend this unprecedented VRBO listing. Thank-you, Bruce and Lisa for sharing it with us.
Huge open house with all the necessities. Comfortable beds, plenty of linens, excellent appliances, game basement, nice TV and Wi-Fi. We spent most of our time in the great outdoors, evenings on the deck watching the sunsets, enjoying the deer that stroll through and met some nice neighbors. The en-suite master bath is lacking . But would definitely recommend!!
We were lucky enough to find this cabin for our second trip to the area- and it was incredible. Bruce was nothing but accommodating and welcoming. The view is breathtaking and the home is incredible. We will be repeat guests again!
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home with terrific view over Moosehead Lake. Great communication with our hosts & although we didn’t need to, we felt like we always had a lifeline to them. It’s so peaceful even the deer will come right to the property with no fear of people, was terrific to watch them below as we relaxed on the deck. Home was comfortable & kitchen well equipped. Enjoyed sitting on the private balcony off the master bedroom in the morning, and then watching the sunset from the kitchen during dinner. Lots to do in Moosehead without the busy crowds of other big lakes in Maine— water sports, moose cruises, and great restaurants. A welcome change of pace from our busy lives, but still enjoy comforts of home.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The communication with the owners was excellent. Our goal was to get away for some relaxation and to see a moose and that was what we got. The home and surroundings were beautiful and serene. We saw 5 moose on our trip. We absolutely loved everything!! Perfect vacation!!
