Venice getaway

liked the area-close to stores, restaurants, secure parking, elevator was convenient. The apartment was beautifully furnished, chandeliers beautiful and one of the highlights of our trip was hearing, all the bells, when the new Pope was selected!

Great place to stay after cruise to see Venice area

6 of us finished an 11 day cruise and wanted to see Venice, so we booked this location. GREAT ! ! ! All of the space was on one floor and it was easily accessible via an elevator (though small). We were right on the bus line and had easy access to all transportation as well as some great restaurants and groceries. We would highly recommend it. We hope to make it back to Venice and spend more time and would consider this again as our base of operations!

Nice top floor apartment

Has lift! Top floor penthouse so you don't hear other people foot step above you. Spacious bedroom. A/C unit in every room, however the weather was nice when we were there so we open the windowa for fresh air (the benefit of top floor!). Clean unit. Has 2 set of hose key thus we can plan our separate itinerary. Has working W/D (love it!). Near bus stop (bus #2 & 32H to Mestre station). Near a square where on the weekend people gather to buy/sell. Near grocery stores. This place is awesome. Would stay here again when we come back

Owner cancelled less than 30 minutes before

Owner cancelled due to a water issue about 30 minutes before check in. He wired with someone to get us a different place but, the place he sent us to had less amenities, didn’t include parking, cost less, was not very clean and didn’t even have soap. He told me he would send a refund but we

Bella la sala, molto spaziosa, come da foto.Camere da migliorare, materassi e cuscini un po’ datati, cucina un po’ vecchiotta e poco accessoriata, sarebbe da migliorare.In generale mi permetto di consigliare un po’ più di cura per una casa così grande.Host disponibile. Si è prodigato molto per noi per risolvere alcuni imprevisti. Ci ha promesso anche un rimborso parziale per un disguido durante il check-in, aspettiamo fiduciosi che arrivi.

Penthouse apartment

Very nice. Very large penthouse apartment with very nice bacony/patio to sit and have your morning coffee or evening wine. Nicely stocked kitchen. Easy bus access to the city for trips in so can leave your car in the gated designated parking space (10 euro/day). Would definitely recommend.

Very lovely apartment

The apartment was lovely and exactly as the pictures showed on line. Very spacious and close to the bus into Venice. We were close enough to walk to and from the train station .

Wonderful Place

We had a fantastic stay. The apartment was more than we could have hoped for. Nick was great getting us checked in and giving us perfect directions for getting into the city. The furnishings were amazing and perfect for a Venetian stay. Getting to know his mother was an added treat. We loved it. I would definitely recommend this apartment for future visitors.

Amazing property

Fantastic, spacious flat. The location was amazing - walking distance to the train station and quick bus ride to Venice proper (using the bus that stops right outside the building).

Condo is spacious and the location is very close to everything. Unit has older furniture which has antique value.

A perfectly preserved, authentically Italian luxury apartment

This apartment is very special. It is a penthouse apartment, created for the building owners, now belonging to the family, who have preserved it in its beautiful entirety. It is both full of gorgeous antiques and paintings, and yet entirely comfortable, with big comfortable couches, good beds, and a fully outfitted kitchen (not modern, but very well organized and usable--appliances are all new). This was definitely one of our most memorable experiences, just a 20 minute bus ride from Venice proper, with the bus just outside the front door. We also took day trips to Verona and Padua, as the train station is only 3 bus stops away. Would love to go back. Nick was super easy to deal with and very kind. Loved it.

We rented this property back in April and just recently completed our trip the furniture at this place is very old and needs to be replaced especially all the couches you sink and literally cannot get up also there’s beehives outside the windows so when you take a shower and open the window all the bees come in which was not a good thing there was also Bugs flying around and biting you at night mosquitoes to be specific the kitchen is very tiny the coffee pot handle is broken so be careful when making coffee none of the beds have boxsprings so you’re literally almost on the ground sleeping the showers were great no problem there the owner of the property needs to go in there and replace about all the furniture

Zeer groot en mooi appartement

Op de foto’s is late zien dat het een groot appartement is, toch stonden we met grote ogen te kijken, zo groot. De zestiende eeuwse meubels maken de kamer bijzonder. Ik vind het echt Venetiaans aan doen.

Good location for a visit to Venice and north eastern Italy

On first sight this didn't look too promising as it appears to be in a rather uninspiring block of apartments. However, we were met on arrival by Nick who took the time to show us around a spacious, elegantly furnished 4 bedroom apartment. There are two large double bedrooms, a slightly smaller twin with an ensuite shower and a large single. All our party commented that their beds were very comfortable. There is an additional shower room and a bathroom. The kitchen is small with rather tired units and could do with a deep clean. There is a good size fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. The oven and hob had seen better days and are in need of a clean. The lounge is large and very elegantly furnished with a balcony. It's a wonderful place to chill after a busy day out. There is air-conditioning in each of the bedrooms, the kitchen and the lounge. The weather was particularly hot whilst we were there and the air-conditioning was marginal. The location is brilliant for access to Mestre town centre which is very pleasant and significantly less pricey than Venice. The Museum M9 is 10 mins walk from the apartment and is well worth a visit. The No2 bus to/from Venice stops right outside the apartment. The bus runs 3-5 times an hour depending on the time of day. This bus also stops at Mestre Railway Station which is a 10 min walk down Via Piave. We took a day trip to Verona and train tickets are cheap if you book in advance. There is a good sized Eurospar supermarket 5 mins walk from the apartment and there is also a good Chinese restaurant across the street. Nick was very helpful and arranged our transfer to the airport for €10/head which turned up on time in a very smart Mercedes minibus. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it as a base for visiting Venice and rail trips to other cities in north eastern Italy.
