We enjoyed our holiday at La casa de Lladó very much. The house and garden with swimmingpool are beautiful and there are lots of things to do and see around the house: lovely beaches, mountains and cities. Thanks to the owners for their hospitality.

Great stay in the foothills of the Pyranees

Great property exactly as described in a lovely area nicely located between the hills and the sea, with easy access to lots for sights and walks and beaches. Great restaurants and good roads everywhere... cannot recommend the area and the property enough! Thanks for looking after us so well, and for all the recommendations of where to go and what to do!

Thank you very much Markus for your detailed review that can help us improve things. I´m very sorry your stay at La Casa de Lladó was not totally satisfying. It´s true that it was an exceptional hot week and the air-conditioning was not prepared for that extreme weather but after that heat wave we talked to the technician in order to change the system. About the smell, as you already know we live in a rural village where people live from livestock and agriculture and sometimes the smell from the farms and fields can bother people who are very sensitive and not used to it. I´m very sorry you were disturbed by this.

About the host

Hosted by Salut Martí Olivé

Host profile image
We are a family with two children and a few years ago we decided to look for a place to live in a quiet village where our children could grow up in a beautiful and pleasant environment. After a year of looking around at various villages we decided arrived in Lladó and fell in love with the palce

Why they chose this property

Lladó is a beautiful village with very friendly people that made us feel at home right away and we fell in love with the place. However, we were first captivated by the countryside, the surroundings and its location. Even now, after so many years, we often remark how lucky we are to live in such a marvellous place.

What makes this property unique

The houses are built in such a way so that you can enjoy the surrounding nature from anywhere in the house. You will even be able to take a shower with the feeling that you are in the garden.

You can relax and take it easy in the veranda or porch outside or just lie down in any room in the house and enjoy the view. Built on a gentle hill, the houses have beautiful views over the region and spectacular sunrises.

Outside the house you'll find many places to relax and enjoy the peace of the place: the porch, the hamack under the shadow of the trees, deckchair on your terrace, a romantic swingchair for two with a view over the village church and the ccoastline in the background.
