You’re just a short walk from Haarlemmerplein, the vibrant Haarlemmerdijk, and the green oasis of Westerpark. Public transport is just around the corner – with buses 18, 21, 22 and tram 5 taking you directly to hotspots like Museumplein.

Gorgeous views! Beautiful home, the BEST hosts.

This house was absolutely beautiful! We feel so lucky to have been able to stay here. We couldn't stop taking photos of the canals through the big picture windows. Everything was comfortable. My two younger kids loved the ducks and swans outside in the canals. The older loved the fast wifi! We were exhausted and jet lagged upon arrival and it was so nice to have such a comfortable place to kick back and relax. They even provided some food and gorgeous flowers for us. We were close to the Saturday farmers market and there was even carnival rides in Dam square that we all enjoyed. We were close enough to walk to everything. We wanted to ride bikes but my mom had broken her arm the day before and so we walked. Everything was perfect!

Beautiful Home with Spectacular Views- Right On the Canal!!! Stayed New Years 2016!!! We LOVED it!

We stayed in this LOVELY apartment over New Years 2016 and absolutely adored it! The location was perfect-- a short walk or bike ride to anywhere in Amsterdam. It's only 2 stops on the bus from the train station-- an easy bike ride and you can even walk (about 25 min). What's great about Amsterdam is that it is such a walking/biking city, and everywhere is easy to get to. The apartment is right on the canal with spectacular views. We knew it was on the canal but were still surprised when we looked out the window and saw that the water comes right up to the window :)!!!! This home is located on a quieter canal which was a welcome relief for our family. Every day we were in Amsterdam, we spent the entire day sightseeing, walking and biking, and not coming home until late into the evening--coming home to this quiet, relaxing apartment was heaven. The apartment is owned by a wonderful couple who were VERY responsive and incredibly welcoming and informative. As soon as we booked our stay, they reached out to us with a kind email and and we knew we had picked the perfect apartment in Amsterdam!! When we missed our train from London to Amsterdam and arrived much later than expected-- the owners were unbelievably kind and accommodating-- they texted us throughout the day with suggestions of other travel arrangements and made sure we were able to get the keys to their apartment. When we arrived to the apartment, we were greeted with a beautiful "welcome package" including treats, an Amsterdam Travel book and a personally written guide of restaurants, places, sightseeing suggestions etc....which was a HUGE help and a wonderful resource!!! The apartment is huge and beautifully furnished with 3/4 bedrooms. We found it very comfortable and my family loved staying in a home instead of a hotel. We have a 23 year old daughter and 2 sons, 20 and 16. There is an outdoor porch overlooking the canal which we enjoyed as well. The apartment is located near Westerpark which is a great place to run, walk and bike ride!! Amsterdam was our favorite city that we visited and we all agreed that we want to come back and we would absolutely stay in this fabulous home again!!! Thank you so much to the owners for everything they did to make our stay so perfect!!! We would HIGHLY recommend this home to anyone visiting Amsterdam!!!

Wonderful house in an amazing location!

We had a great time on our trip to Amsterdam. The house was an easy walk from the train station. It also was very well located to use public transportation to get around. The neighborhood was great with a grocery store nearby and lots of restaurants and nice shops. The owners were very kind and helpful. They answered all of our questions. The house was very well laid out for our group. It was very clean. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Being right on the water made our trip very memorable. We would definitely stay there again!

Elegant home with personal hosts

We had a fantastic time here! Esther went above and beyond and was a very personal, generous hostess. She provided us with a welcome bowl of snacks and champagne and had fresh flowers sent for our arrival. She always responded quickly and provided a detailed guide with great recommendations. The home is beautiful and has lovely views of two canals. It was peaceful but also not far from the central area. We walked there and also made use of the convenient public transportation nearby. There are shops and restaurants close by. We would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone who wanted to stay in a special place in Amsterdam.

Perfect!

Wonderful apartment; large, clean, and ideally situated for visiting pretty much anything in Amsterdam. In fact, the pictures on the site do not do justice to the apartment; it is even better than it looks on those. Esther and Jan were fantastic hosts, very good with their communications concerning all aspects of our stay. Highly recommended!

Viele kleine Aufmerksamkeiten standen für uns auf dem Tisch, Blumen und leckere Keckse.Bei Fragen war Esther stets bereit uns zu helfen. Wohnung liegt direkt an einer Gracht und hat zusätzlich noch eine kleine Terrasse , was selten in Amsterdam ist. Weiterhin liegt sie super zentral,mit dem Bus ist man in 5 min. am Central Bahnhof.

Magnifique logement, très agréable et très bien situé

Nous avons été accueillis par Esther qui est très arrangeante, l'appartement est propre et la vue très agréable. Tout est conforme aux photos. Idéal pour des familles. Localisation parfaite, nous avons tout fait à pied, la gare est à environ 15-20 minutes à pied. Esther m'a également aidé à arranger un rdv avec un médecin sur place. Nous recommandons !
