We had a fantastic time staying at the house for a week. The kids, and grownups, loved the pool and outdoor area especially. Communication with Francisco was easy and effortless. I liked that the area was quiet and felt secure, but that you also had some shops and restaurants nearby within walking distance. Recommended

Golf holiday

The stay in the villa was excellent. Location was ideal close to the restaurants and course's. The pool and outside area was fantastic. An all round beautiful villa suitable for families or golfers looking to stay in la manga.

totally relaxing vacation

The villa is on the edge of La Manga Club, however it is in easy walking distance to most restaurants, tennis etc. The villa shows its age with some tired features, however for our family it was ideal. Francisco was always contactable and very helpful. La Manga is probably still recovering from Covid and central features like Oasis and minigolf are closed, however I am sure they will bring it all back with time. The variety of restaurants and bars is exceptional and non-spanish speaking brits get by without an issue.

Perfect stay in Spain

Francisco turned the 15 days we spent near Murcia into precious memories for my family and friends. He always made himself available to recommend restaurants (and even book us tables!) or answer quickly to any question we had. The house is perfect to receive young children and we were touched by Francisco's attentions (such as hiring a babysitter for our five kids). The boat tour organized by Francisco was amazing. We are grateful for his willingness to take care of everything, from A to Z, which led to make us spend the most wholesome holidays. The place to be for the ones seeking unforgetable holidays in Spain!

El chalet esta muy bien ubicado, es amplio y tiene muchas posibilidades. El problema es que en general esta bastante mal conservado. mobiliario antiguo, contraventanas rotas, jardín descuidado, falta de ventanas en sótano, muchos gresites caidos en piscina. Es una pena, porque la casa y la zona merecen la pena. Una lastima que no permitan meter vehículo a la propiedad, ni siquiera para descargar, mientras que los otros dos chalets vecinos de la comunidad si pueden. Al llegar la piscina (principalmente el fondo) estaba muy sucio y tras comunicarlo tardaron 3 dias en venir a limpiarlo. El microondas roto desde el primer día y nos trajeron uno nuevo pero ya a los 5 dias de la estancia. Numerosas hormigas en cocina y alguna habitación, tras comunicarlo, trajeron pastillas de veneno pero sin resultado aparente. El personal de limpieza y el piscinero agradables y educados, pero poco resolutivos, probablemente por lo ajustado de su contrato con la propiedad. El propietario no le conocimos, gestiono todo en remoto, de manera educada pero no eficiente, lento en respuesta ante nuestras reclamaciones. Intentó cobrarme por el uso de la BBQ, que luego no pude usar debido al peligro de fuego en la zona. Para que las instalaciones y la casa esten optimas ante un alquiler, lo mejor es supervisar personalmente todo o tener a alguien de confianza. Fundamental invertir en mantenimiento, menaje y mobiliario para tener al día la propiedad, por la que nosotros pagamos un buen dinero. Un saludo.

Big villa, great for families, a little tired in places, needs a bit of maintenance

We spent 2 weeks at "La Princesa" which was in a great location very near by "La Manga Club" resort with its 3 golf courses, tennis courts, bars and restaurants. It is on a gated mini complex of 3 properties so we felt quite safe and secure. You cannot park right outside the villa, but our cars were fine parked outside the gate. We could see that this was once a much loved family holiday home and the space we had was good for the 7 of us - 5 adults and 2 teenage boys. No one felt on "top of each other" and we could all sit comfortably for meals etc. The pool area was good and we spent most afternoons taking a refreshing dip and relaxing on the patio areas in the evening. The kitchen was well equipped and we made ourselves at home. Air con in all the rooms was good as it was around 30-35'c most days. Beds were comfy and we had a bed linen and towel change half way through our stay. The pool guy came a couple of times as well to check and clean our pool. I would suggest that the villa has a bit of maintenance if it is continued to be rented as a holiday home, as some things are a little tired or need of repair. Some new cushions on the outside furniture on the covered areas at the back are needed and some other little jobs are needed around the house, such as the door handles being secured on the internal doors, garden lights being fixed and the bathroom fittings being repaired or replaced as some of them are broken or missing. I would also suggest an information guide in the villa with instructions on how the tv works etc along with info on where to take your rubbish and recycling. I have to say communications with Francisco were brilliant and he was always on hand to answer any questions that we had. My other advice for anyone travelling in August in this area is to make sure you bring mosquito repellent for yourself and buy or bring some citronella candles etc if you want to sit outside. The best time to do any activities such as golf and tennis is the early morning or evening. The surrounding cities and towns are definitely worth a trip out, our favourite being Cartagena with its castle and roman ruins.

Una casa y un entorno espectaculares

La casa en enorme y muy bien decorada, tal cual viene en las fotos. Tiene una piscina bastante grande y una barbacoa con un merendero. Estaba muy limpia y desinfectada, que ahora es muy importante. María, la propietaria, fue muy amable y quiso que nos sintiéramos como en casa.

Amazing villa

We stayed in this villa for 7 days with our all family . First thing what my son 8 years old shouted out when he seen all this - " That is real life !":-) That is true ;) During all vacation we had excellent facilities and communication with the owners. Very peaceful and privet surrounding. Everything you need for your holidays and much more. Won't be disappointed.
