Boutique Villa Thalassa is a newly designed, eco friendly constructed villa of 170m2 located near the town of Ierapetra, on the Kakia Skala bay . The distance from the city is 8 minutes by car.

It is located in a bay with natural beauty and environmental interest.

It is a two-storied house with a basement. There are two bedrooms on the first floor and two in the basement. All bedrooms are furnished with sofa beds and desktop areas. Broadband internet is offered without charge.
Every bedroom is equipped with a flat TV so as the living room.
All bedrooms are air conditioned, so as the ground floor where the living room the dinning room and the kitchen are located. The rest of the house due to its construction with stone and bio climatic philosophy is naturally air conditioned.
There are two bathrooms one on the first floor, one at the basement and a wc at the pool area.

Luxurious stay in Crete

If you are looking for a family retreat or reunion, this is the perfect preoperty! This is a great alternative to an all-inclusive hotel, in a remote location in the South of Crete, away from the busy areas of the North. This house is right on the beach with a big infinity pool and many tavernas within walkimg distance.

Great home and location

Incredible spot and home in Crete. It's about a 90 minute drive from Heraklion airport but if you're looking for a spot away from the crowds, this is the place for you (at least at the end of June). Can't say enough about the view and outdoor space. When we were home, we spent almost all of our time outside at the huge table or by the pool. The beach and sea are just a few steps down from the house. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were great and very helpful. They met us when we arrived to give us a tour and overview. Despoina checked in with us regularly to make sure everything was good and made lots of suggestions for things to do in the area. We had one issue with the key to get into the home after coming back late in the evening and she showed up in 10 minutes to help resolve the problem. Would love to stay here again when we're in Crete. You won't regret picking this property.

Welcome home ....

....that’s the feeling you get when arrive at the beautiful Villa Thalassa. Nothing is too much for Takis and Despoina. They go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Very kind touches to have a few items in the fridge to get you started and even a homemade fresh cake ! The villa itself is gorgeous, painstakingly and lovingly presented with so much attention to detail. If you like to be away from the hordes of tourists but still close to restaurants and appreciate staying in beautiful homes, this place is for you. We loved being on the beach late afternoon where it’s mostly locals. The water is lovely and the pebbles have to be the prettiest we’ve ever seen. Highly recommend a private boat trip on Apollo where you can get on and off Chrissi Island before the day ferries arrive. Natalia is a fabulous hostess too. Overall, can’t say enough nice things about our gracious hosts, the house and our wonderful time there - did not want to leave. In fact, high chance we will be back next year to stay longer.

Die Villa ist ein Traum!!! Es hat mir und meiner Familie hier an nichts gefehlt. Von der Buchung bis zum Ende unseres Aufenthaltes hatten wir einen sehr netten Kontakt mit den Besitzern, welche uns super nett empfangen haben. Danke nochmal an die Mama für den lecker Kuchen! Die Villa ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, drinnen als auch im Außenbereich, überall ein gemütliches Plätzchen. Im Pool zu schwimmen und auf das Meer zu blicken.... traumhaft schön!

Etant donné que notre arrivée a la villa était tardive (23h00) , nous nous étions posé bcp de questions sur la logistique liée a cet horaire et idem pour le petit déjeuner du lendemain matin. Rassurez vous, Takis et Despoina, les propriétaires, auront absolument tout prévu. Leur accueil est a la hauteur de cette magnifique maison. En plus des prestations luxe de la maison, ils ont pensé a tout pour notre confort avec meme quelques bières fraiches dans le frigo de la cuisine extérieure. Pour nous, notre semaine dans cette maison était tout simplement parfaite. Si c'est dans votre budget, n'hésitez pas une seule seconde, foncez :-) Since our arrival at the villa was late (23:00), we had a lot of questions about the logistics related to this schedule and ditto for breakfast the next morning. Do not worry, Takis and Despoina, the owners, have absolutely everything planned. Their welcome is at the height of this magnificent house. In addition to the luxury services of the house, they have thought of everything for our comfort with even a few fresh beers in the fridge of the outdoor kitchen. For us, our week in this house was just perfect. If it's in your budget, do not hesitate one second, go for it :-)

Excellent house with excellent hosts

We, two families of four, stayed for one week in this newly built house by the sea. The house is in a quiet area without traffic and we were almost alone on the beach. Our hosts Despoina and Takis were friendly and gave us good advice on where to eat and what to see. We loved the boat trip to Chrissi island.

Perfect place to stay.

New very nice house, garden and pool. We really enjoyed staying there. The house is located short from a small local beach, with a perfect taverna close to. The owners are rightly proud of their nice house, and very helpfull and «perfect hosts». There are more restaurants and beaches in short walking distanse.

This is the place to be in Crete!

First of all we want to say thank you to Despoina, Takis and the kids for your warm greeting. Our plane was delayed two times and you still waited for us. During our stay u take care of everything an our diner together at Irapetra was gorgeous. Thank you so much. This house is a fantastic design Object. Everything is very clean and every Tuesday and Saturday its cleaned by the owner. From every rooms u see the sea and here the waves. It is so awesome. The pool is an infinity pool, u get the feeling swimming from the pool direct to the horizon. Next to it are beanbags and loungers to relax. We like to barbecue outside some souvlaki and bake bread at the oven outside. All you need is available. Even the fridge is filled for your first day. Just a few steps away are taverns, supermarkets and watersports like parasailing or fishing. The beach is next to the house and the sand is very fine. Its a quiet and clean bay with crystal clear water. We have been all over the world, but this is the place to be for holiday. We recommend everybody to travel to this property. Thank you very much Despoina and Takis, we will surely come back to visit you. We hope to stay in touch! Take care and best wishes Martin, Anke, Moritz and Anton
