The La Salle area is a beautiful natural basin at the foot of Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe. In the valley there are several countries such as Courmayeur, La Thuile, Morgex and Pre Saint Didier with its natural spas which make it, with their mountains and their services, one of the most important European hiking and skiing areas known all over the world. The valley is located in a strategic position, reachable from the main urban centers of Northern Italy through the motorway network which runs right through Courmayeur, to continue on French territory through the Mont Blanc Tunnel. The nearest airport is located in Aosta, while international flights can take advantage of the airports of Milan Malpensa, Turin-Caselle and Geneva (Switzerland), all about 1 hour away by car. Also at a very short distance are the Casino of St. Vincent and that of Chamonix (France).
