Exclusive bush villa in a wildlife estate near Kruger National park. -MINIMUM STAY APPLIES IN THIS ESTATE- No short stays. Solar back-up installed, no power interruptions at the villa.

This villa is owned by a Dutch family and is situated on a 1 ha plot at the most southern tip of the estate. As a result you will enjoy a 30km unobstructed view of the Drankensbergen mountain range and Blyde River Canyon from the terrace and pool. The wildlife watering hole next to the house ensures plenty of animal sightings.

Make your own fire, relax in the pool and enjoy life in the bush!

Nice relaxing holiday home

We had a great time here. Waking up to the sounds of the birds and having morning coffee with the animals walking by. The view of the mountains is fabulous and is never the same. The house is very complete and we felt very welcome. We definately recommend staying here if you are in Hoedspruit!Hiske & Remco

Beautiful and immaculate property

We have stayed at this property multiple times as we cannot find any reason to look at different listings. Good location for driving to 2 of Kruger's entrance gates. Great communication with owners and local property managers.

Raptors Stay

This is a wonderful home situated close to a small lake. The house has been very well maintained and decorated perfectly. You see more animal action sitting on the Patio than on tours through Kruger Park. You can see the owner takes a lot of pride in his home.

Comfortable house, great view.

Had a wonderful week long stay. Though it was only two of us, the property would very comfortably fit a group of either. Watching the wildlife from the back patio was pretty amazing. Owners and management were very responsive and polite. The only "negative" would be that it's about 15 minutes from the gate, but didn't bother us, and seemed with it for the location. If we return to the area wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Wonderful home which is really well equippedQuiet and quite remote which we liked - it is a 15min drive from the entrance to the house on a dirt road but we did no experience any issues.Great to see wildlife waling past your balcony on a daily basisThe only negative is that the TV is tiny in the study and the DSTV has no sport package - a must for SA renters in rugby/cricket season - we had a fabulous time

Wat een geweldige vakantie hebben wij gehad in het huis van Rolien&Paul. Alles klopt!! De luxe, het comfort, de ligging een meer dan volledig huis in een veilige estate. Het zandpad naar het huis (6km.) zorgt ervoor dat je meteen in de bush bent. De inrichting is met zorg en aandacht gedaan. Alles is aanwezig om een geweldige tijd te hebben in het huis. Elke dag komen de dieren in en om het huis. Giraffe, zebra’s, bokken, apen en nog veel meer. De rust en de ruimte zijn heerlijk. Het Krugerpark (Orpen gate) is precies 60 minuten rijden. Restaurants zijn dichtbij en goede winkels ook binnen een paar kilometer van de estate. Kortom; als je wil genieten van luxe, rust, ruimte en Afrika dan is dit de ideale plek. Dank voor jullie gastvrijheid en de fijne communicatie in aanloop naar onze vakantie! K&A v. D. What a great holiday we had in the house of Rolien & Paul. Everything is right!! The luxury, the comfort, the location a more than complete house in a safe estate. The sandy path to the house (6km.) ensures that you are immediately in the bush. The interior design has been done with care and attention. Everything is there to have a great time in the house. Every day the animals come in and around the house. Giraffe, zebras, goats, monkeys and much more. The peace and space are wonderful. The Kruger Park (Orpen gate) is exactly 60 minutes drive. Restaurants are close by and good shops also within a few kilometers of the estate. In short; if you want to enjoy luxury, peace, space and Africa then this is the ideal place.

Great place

This is a beautiful, spacious and secluded home. There are many marked hiking trails to explore right out the front & back doors of the house. Get a map from the administration office when you first arrive and be aware of the time when you head out. There is lots of wildlife to observe in the backyard by the watering hole and on the hiking trails. The outdoor showers were fabulous and a great fire pit under the incredible stars. We thoroughly enjoyed our excursions to Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre, the Blyde Canyon River Cruise with a hike on the Waterfall Trail and the afternoon safari at Tshukada Lodge. Hoedspruit is a beautiful area to explore. It is a 15 minute drive from the main gate to the house which allows for the wonderful privacy but it is a winding and bumpy road particularly right near the house, so always make a list when going into town. Also, I would recommend downloading the app for Load Shedding so you are aware of times the power will be turned off at the house. Our family would definitely choose to stay at this amazing home again & will recommend it to others. We miss this piece of paradise already, Lori

Christmas and New Years stay 2019 - 2020

My family including 4 young children had a wonderful time during Christmas and New Year 2019 - 2020 in the fantastic bush villa on Raptor's View. The villa is luxury and completely in style. Nice and spacious with all available and working equipment and amenities. The instruction guide the owner sends you upfront is very well cared for and complete in every detail. Highly recommendable accomodation for those who love privacy and wildlife and luxury. A nice lovely detail is showering in the outdoorshower under the clear African sky with all the thousands of visible stars.

Ultimate vacay home

My family of 6 absolutely loved this beautiful home. The views were breathtaking of the mountains and each day we enjoyed a visit by the friendly giraffe. The home is very spacious and the beds so comfortable! The owners Rolien and Paul were very gracious and attentive to all my questions and the visitors guide was so helpful! Mr. Leslie Locke from Your Service was invaluable arranging a Sunset Safari and providing helpful insights while at Raptors View. We all agreed we would return in a heartbeat.

Relaxing time in the bush

We have just returned from an amazing time staying in the bush. The home was large, airy but warm and welcoming. There was everything we needed…..and more beyond. We had a wonderful time exploring the designated trails spotting the animals and insects as we walked along. Thank you - we had a wonderful 2 weeks!

Outstanding Property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Hoedspruit villa. We travel extensively and have stayed in many rental properties. This home is very spacious, clean, modern, and offers views and amenities beyond what can be found in other rentals. Local management support was always immediately responsive. Highly recommended.

Amazing and wonderful place

Paul and Roliens place is just amazing. The house is wonderful in the middle of the african bush with a nice terrace and a lovely pool. In the morning you can watch animals such as antilopes or giraffes come by. Paul and Rolien are very friendly and uncomplicated hosts. Even for welcoming us they provided a bottle of champagne...what was such a nice gesture. We felt so comfortable at their house that we did not want to leave :-) we will never forget our very special stay in Hoedspruit :-). Thank you Paul & Rolien

Last November with our whole family rented this house My wife and I had already been there in July 2017 together with my son and daughter-in-law and my neighbors This was such a great experience that we definitely wanted to go back This year with my sisters and brothers-in-law. If people are looking for a house close to the Kruger Park and panorama route, we can not imagine a better house than this house. The adventure starts already on arrival You will then be taken care of by a very nice English speaking gentleman (Lesley) He will take you to the house that is definitely needed because it is a 15 to 20 minutes car ride the ride is very exciting because you have all animals on it walking the park you get all the Africa feeling Once arrived you get a good explanation about the house The house itself is fantastic and tastefully decorated by the owners spotless which is also very important The view is admiring and there are regular animals in your garden Also for my family this was a great experience Also this year just like last year our travel group found this house the highlight of the holiday. That is something to say because we had luxury villas in knysna and camps bay Paul and Rolien thanks again for our stay and great service. Fantastic Luxury estate

Very nice and luxury villa, fabulous park and vieuws in the garden. Lots of wildlife (harmless; no predators). Cleaning very good. Pictures at the site are correct but in real life more impressive. Very spacious. Facilities correct and helpful. Hoedspruit is easy to access also game drives and ofcourse Kruger. Certainly recommended for family with children (all ages) or with friends. tip: book your favorite game drives in advance. the are soon fully booked. also a good suggestion: sky aviation helicopter flight through the dragon mountains!and watch this estate from the skies!

prachtig en sfeervol

Een prachtig ruim huis op mooie plek in het park. Ideale indeling en hoog niveau afwerking maakt het verblijf hier zeer prettig. De inrichting is sfeervol. Vanaf het terras heb je prachtig uitzicht op de Drakensbergen en op een drinkplaats waardoor er gedurende de dag wild voorbij komt.

fantastische ervaring midden de natuur

Als de slagbomen van Raptors View opengaan, start een 6 km lange weg naar het mooie huis, soms vergezeld van zebra's en giraffen. Het huis is voorzien van alle comfort zowel om binnen als buiten te leven. Tijdens ons verblijf in de winter hebben wij regelmatig gebruik gemaakt van de braai/BBQ binnen. Er is een grote frigo en diepvries aanwezig zodat je zeker voldoende voorraad kan inslaan. Het mooie uitzicht is een grote troef. Er zijn voldoende mogelijkheden in Hoedspruit om inkopen te doen en lekkere restaurants in de buurt. Hoedspruit is zeer centraal gelegen. Het Krugerpark en de Blyde River liggen op zeer doenbare afstanden.

Marvellous stay in the bush

We were simply stated extremely delighted. The house is very cosy and nicely decorated with beautiful African artefacts. The style fits perfectly in the bush and this aspect is all over taken care in the estate. The villa offers a lot of space and had all comfort. The architectural design with a big central area of living, kitchen and dining corner and the fact of having 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms assure a lot of privacy within the house. Also the surroundings guarantee privacy and quietness. The neighbouring houses are hardly visible and we have not heard their inhabitants. The beds were very good and the outdoor showers a very pleasant discovery. Outside at the terrace you could always find a spot with shade or with sun. We mostly cooked in the house; the kitchen and appliances are of high standard. Within the estate the villa is located in the quietest corner with beautiful views. The bush feeling with the peace, silence, nature and animals around is perfect and let you simply forget the daily stress from home; the kind of relaxed holidays as expected. Nature is very present: we saw different kinds of antelopes, giraffes, zebras, warthogs, etc. and the nights are really dark with visibly more stars as at home. Finally, we appreciated the service offered: reception at arrival, the weekly cleaning (including the braai) and the assurance that you could always call in case of questions. It is certainly a place which we can recommend and to where we will return.

GEWELDIG

Wat een fantastisch huis op een geweldige plek! Vanaf het terras uitzicht op de Drakensbergen en op een waterplas waar allerlei soorten dieren komen drinken. Het huis ligt geheel vrij. Een heerlijk terras, het bad ter verkoeling (wij hadden heel fraai weer) en de braaiplek overtroffen al onze verwachtingen. Wij genoten ook bijzonder van de buitendouche! We wandelden diverse trails en stonden soms oog in oog met een paar giraffen. Kudu's en impala's in de tuin. Wat een feest, wij komen zeker terug.

Perfecte vakantiebestemming in Zuid - Afrika, aan het Krugerpark

Ons verblijf met vier personen op Raptor's View in februari was fantastisch. De boeking verliep vlot en bij aankomst werden wij ontvangen door lokaal personeel dat ons de weg wees naar het huis. Het huis zelf staat op het hoogste plekje van het wildlife etstate, met uitzicht op de bergen, waar je kunt wandelen tussen de giraffen en zebras. Er lopen geen leeuwen rond dus het is veilig om de Afrikaanse bush te voet te verkennen. Het huis is ruim opgezet, voorzien van zwembad en wi-fi en badkamers uitgerust met buitendouche. Wij hebben hier een geweldige week gehad. Hoedspruit zelf heeft winkeltjes en restaurants en ons uitstapje naar het Krugerpark was geweldig. Wij komen zeker terug!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The views from the terrace are unique. The house is situated at the far end of the estate and has an unobstructed view of the "lowveld" all the way up to the Drakensbergen mountain range.
We enjoy the view tremendously as the sky and the mountains change color throughout the day.
Living at the far end of the estate also means it is very quiet and therefore easier to see wildlife.
From the terrace you also have a great view on the watering holes which is only 50 meters from the house. You will notice it attracts numerous animals.
Tow of the 3 walking trails start from this end of the estate.
