I absolutely loved it. Great caretakers, very clean, safe and location was perfect!

It definitely met my expectations. We had 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen and a washer and dryer at a great price! The location was perfect and central to the places I wanted to visit. Thank you for letting me make your place my home away from home! I loved it!

Rental apartment

The location was very good. It could have been cleaner. Several problems: Toilet seat loose. Toilets did not flush well. No hot water. Cold shower the first night Renter had to lihht the water heater. Could not use the oven. Automatic lighter did not work. Went to light it manually, tried to open the door at the bottom , it would not open. Tv did not work. In all fairness there was confusion about the day we would arrive .

But there was someone during your stay that could solved all your requirement so I guess you didnt tell her about it ? Horrible experience

We booked this place six months prior for the five weeks stay. We arrived from the airport at night, the same night realized that 2 a/c in the bedrooms were leaking very badly, the beddings were stained, and some broken furniture and we found a few roaches. The next day something happened, and the house had no electricity, which meant no lights and no a/c. The technician arrived the next day and said that the problem was major because the outside meter was dead and the town needed to take care of that, and it would take time. The property manager told us the same thing. The next morning we woke to no water in the house at all!! When I messaged the property manager, she never even replied. I asked the security maybe something had happened in the community and if others had water, but to my surprise, they told me that water for each house is located in the underground barrel, it is delivered. Probably the owner didn't pay for the water delivery. The property management never replied; we were stuck with little kids without electricity and water. I called VRBO right away to notify them that we are looking for a new place ASAP and we are evacuating from this place. I have received an apology message from the owner saying there is nothing they can do about it and that they will help us to find a new place which they never did either. Unfortunately, I still haven't received my refund yet, and it's been a month and a half already! Such a horrible experience never had in my life. I am a host as well and would never let my guests suffer as we did.

Great stay close to Playa del Carmen

Our kids loved the pool and club house amenities of the Bali complex - gym, pools, tennis courts, soccer field, etc. We felt very safe the whole time we were there. We didn't know how good the internet would be, but it turned out to be fast enough for our needs - on average about 20 MB down and 5 MB up speeds. There were some issues with the A/C and washing machine initially, but Joseph and Karla were very attentive to our needs and helped get them fixed as quickly as they were able.

Sehr schön und ruhig

Sehr schöne Wohnung und super ruhige Lage. Das einzige Problem es ist recht ausserhalb des Zentrum und ohne Auto ist man auf das Taxi angewiesen. Ansonsten lebt man sicher sehr schnell an das wunderschöne Leben. Sehr freundliches Personal und super Sicherheitskräfte. Empfehlenswert auf jeden Fall!

Nice location, a bit complicated

Let's start with the positives: This property is in a great location, just on the southern side of Playa del Carmen. It is in a gated community and the security does a good job of monitoring who comes and goes. The common areas are well-maintained and the Club House area has a soccer field, tennis courts, a larger pool (than the one pictured) and a an outdoor racquetball-style court. Even during New Year's week, they were uncrowded and a fun place to spend some time. The condo itself has a nice floor plan, with all three bedrooms on the second level. The kitchen, dining, and living areas are on the main level. The kitchen is well-equipped and bottled drinking water is provided. It's nicely decorated and the lady that maintains the property did a pretty good job of responding to our questions we had while staying there. Here are the things that weren't so great: I will start by saying I think this problem was primarily due to a language barrier. (The owner is from France, the lady that maintains the unit is from Mexico, and we are from the US.) The check-in procedure that was emailed to us seemed a bit vague, so we contacted the owner thru VRBO to get further clarification. He assured us there would be no problem, that the lady in Mexico would be at the condo to meet us and give us keys (he gave us her phone number in case there were problems), and that check-in was at 3pm. Our flight did not arrive in MX until 7:30pm, but we presumed she must live on-site, so away we went. After getting our luggage, rental car, and driving south, we arrived around 10pm. No one was there and no one answered at the provided phone number. The only owner contact info was through the VRBO messaging. Needless to say, we ended up driving around Playa at midnight during busy season looking for a hotel. Not so much fun. The next day, the owner responded and we got in touch with the Mexican lady (via a different phone number). We got keys and got checked in. SO HERE'S THE LESSON: check-in at 3pm does NOT mean check-in any time at 3pm or after (as it means in the US); instead it means you better be there at 3pm or you won't get in. Make sure you communicate your arrival time, even if you are not asked this information! The owner did refund one night's fee for his condo (but not the full amount we paid for the hotel night) so I'm giving it 3 stars for his willingness to work with us. The unit has a plethora of little ants everywhere and no batteries in the TV remote.
