Maison du Guerledan dates back to 1771 and is set within a tranquil location just 2 kilometres from Lac de Guerledan which has several sandy beaches. The cottage is set within an acre and a half of garden, and has recently been renovated to a very high standard. The cottage has an 8m by 4m swimming pool that is heated by a heat pump and has an alarm fitted to comply to French safety regulations. This is for the sole use of the guests at the cottage.

The cottage offers all you would need for a self catering holiday with a modern kitchen, lounge and dining area, along with 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 people. A large master bedroom with king size bed has an en suite, and a further 2 twin bedrooms share a modern family bathroom.

Lac de Guerledan, an 8 mile long lake with its many safe and sandy beaches is only 2km away. The lake offers many sporting activities such as water skiing, cycling, horse riding and canoeing.

The cottage has been designed to accommodate families of all ages with a private and safe garden to play in. The swimming pool is heated and offers a large patio area around the pool for your enjoyment. This cottage offers families an ideal base to explore the beautiful Brittany countryside and virtually all the tourist attractions are within an hours travelling distance.




Lac de Guerledan, an 8 mile long lake with its many safe and sandy beaches is only 2km away. The lake offers many sporting activities such as water skiing, cycling, horse riding and canoeing.

The cottage enjoys a modern kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, and coffee-maker. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with everything you will need for a self catering holiday including plenty of plastic plates etc for youngsters.

Living room
The large open and bright lounge has two modern 3 seater sofas, coffee-table, tv with UK Freeview Tv and dvd player. There is also a selection of dvds along with books and boardgames.

Bedrooms
The cottage benefits from a large, bright and airy master bedroom with king size modern oak bed, bedside cabinets and triple wardrobe and leads into a large en suite with walk in shower. The other 2 bedrooms are twins with 2 single beds and wardrobes and share a bathroom with bath and shower above.All bed linen is provided except for cot linen but we can supply a travelcot and highchair if required.

A large en suite which offers a modern walk-in shower, toilet and handbasin. The family bathroom has a bath and overhead shower.

Entertainment
English Freeview tv along with a dvd player, along with a selection of dvds, books, boardgames and childrens toys.

Garden and outside
Swimming pool is an 8x4m in ground heated pool which which has an alarm to comply with French regulations. The pool faces south and benefits from full sun all day and has sunloungers and a sun parasol. There is also a large terrace overlooking the pool which has 6 chairs and a dining table along with a bbq. The cottage also has a courtyard garden with chairs. Swimming pool
Please note upon arrival that there is an alarm on the swimming pool, so you will need to read the instructions in the house on how to operate this before entering.
The swimming pool is one of the facilities that guests enjoy most when staying at the property. To help us to maintain the pool to a high standard, we have a request to ensure you and other guests can enjoy it at its best.
Please do not use sun tan lotions or creams when using the pool. These products damage the pool filtration system and permanently stain the pool liner above the water liner. We therefore request that if guests require sun protection whilst using the pool, you purchase UV T-shirts which are available from Amazon and most leading sports shops(these are not expensive).



The cottage has uninterrupted views over the neighboring countryside from the swimming pool and back garden. The swimming pool is open from June till mid September. The pool is for the private sole use of the guests at the cottage.

Although this cottage is all on the ground floor there are a few steps separating the living area from the bedrooms .

. Wifi in the cottage is through a 4g dongle.

All bed linen is provided along with cleaning materials for the cottage. An end of stay clean is available at a cost of 90 euros if you do not wish to leave the cottage as you found it. Please bring all your own towels along with any baby bedlinen. We will provide cot and highchair free of charge.

Heating is not provided during the time the swimming pool is open.

The cottage is available from 5pm on your day of arrival and you must depart by 10 am on the morning of your departure.

Lac de Guerledan is an 8 mile long lake that offers a variety of watersports such as water skiing, canoeing, pedaloes. Also lots of signed walks, mountain biking routes along with 3 large sandy beaches with safely identified swimming areas.
