Perfect week at the lake!
A perfect destination for a week at the lake with our extended family. It has everything you could want to get the most fun out of summer.
We really enjoyed this property. It was much easier with the owners right next door!
Ideal for easy and frequent access to the water
Sleeping accommodations were wonderful and all slept well. Loved the beach and large dock. Not enough chairs at the dining table for our group of 6 but lots of seating outside. Very large upstairs living room- great for games and kids in sleeping bags.
Spacious and Relaxing home with Great views
Our Family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation together at this beautiful lakefront home. The property owners were friendly and helpful. The rooms were well stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds and beautiful views. We also enjoyed having access to the use of the fishing boat, docks, barbecue and fire pit.
We would definitely stay at this property again in the future (if the opportunity arises). This was our first experience with a VRBO property and it exceeded our expectations.
The Kruppa Family
Great family lake house!
This is a very spacious family lake house. The sisters couldn't have been more welcoming, they provide Everything you might need in the kitchen including a top notch water filtration system. Very nice that they meet you upon arrival to get you situated and accommodated my special requests when possible. You can tell by the photos etc. around the house that this family spent many fun loving years there- with Duke as the Patriarch!
We stayed during the Thanksgiving holiday so we did alot of cooking. The large kitchen area was nice for several cooks in the kitchen. The dining table could be replaced (one chair broken) leaving only 2 seated at a small table but in the summer there is a huge yard and ample room on the deck. The view to the lake is wonderful. We spent several mornings, coffee in hand, watching the water fowl and enjoying the view. The beds are very comfortable and they provide plenty of blankets/linens which was welcome considering it was 15-17 degrees some days! Lots of closet and drawer space. The bathrooms are clean, one has been updated with a large shower. Nice to have a bathroom on each floor. Lots of games and room in the upstairs game room, flat screens on each floor and one in a bedroom. This is a great rental for a family or large group.
The only thing I thought was a little off putting was the $80. per pet charge plus a $160.00 deposit on top of the house deposit along with a couple page pet policy. I imagine there may be some past misbehaving pets that warranted this? There are neighborhood dogs that roam free so I ended up picking up alot of poo - if I'd had another choice I would have let the dog at home!
Don't miss the 2 Loons Distillery, owned by one of the sisters and her husband, just up the street. Excellent spirits and Lovely people! Would definitely recommend this rental!
This was our first time to the area and we had a blast. We decided to make this a yearly trip for a sort of family "reunite" trip. The house was more than big enough to give space for 3 adults and 2 toddlers. Actually, we didn't even use the upstairs game room, I'm sure when the kids are older it will come in much appreciated. The kids did enjoy the private cozy beach, dock, and paddle boats. There were some lifejackets that we used everyday. It was more like staying at a friends or family lake house rather then a rental. It had everything you would need. I wish we could have used the fire pit but there was a no burn ban in the whole state of Washington. But we did take advantage of the BBQ. Really nice view to wake up to every morning and when we stayed it was quiet & peaceful at night. I had the chance after the kids went to sleep to sit out on the dock at mid night snuggled in a blanket and star gaze. Can't beat that! I think the best part was how nice the sister's (owners) of the house were. It felt like family. ♡ We will be back next year.
