Este condominio en High Chalet tiene impresionantes vistas panorámicas de las Montañas Humeantes. High Chalet se encuentra en la cima de Ski View Road, con vistas a Ski Ober Gatlinburg. De hecho, ¡puedes ver los telesillas desde nuestro balcón! No se puede encontrar un lugar más tranquilo en todo Gatlinburg.
Nuestra unidad cuenta con una cocina completa, que incluye un lavaplatos y microondas, dos televisores y un reproductor de DVD, una cama king y queen, dos baños completos y un teléfono en la unidad con llamadas locales gratuitas. También tenemos una chimenea de leña y un balcón privado para disfrutar de las vistas. Ofrecemos ropa de cama y la lavandería se encuentra justo al otro lado del pasillo. El complejo cuenta con dos jacuzzis y una piscina climatizada (durante la temporada).

Actually he forgot to send the code and we didn't get there till midnight and couldn't get in. Freezing outside no answer when we called. Finally he set the code and didn't call back. Finaaly called the day. We went back up and the door was unlocked.

It's a bit old-fashioned, with old furniture, and it's on the second floor. It's clean, and the shower has good pressure and hot water. The AC keeps the house at a great, steady temperature. There was no noise from neighboring apartments. The apartment is at the top of the mountain at the end of the road, so I'd like to know how accessible the roads are during winter in that area. If you're looking to see bears, this is the perfect place. I ran into bears almost every time I was going downtown or coming back to the apartment.

Perfect view!

Top of the mountain made for an awesome ride up and an even better view once we got there! Kids loved the pool and game room, everything was within a short drive down the hill. Seen a few bears, one was up close and personal! Communication was spot on, description was perfect, we loved it. Will definitely be back.

Our stay started out a little rough at first. Didnt receive instructions on which building and room we were staying. Contacted property manager and rectified the situation in a reasonable amount of time. Thascenery was beatiful.

Great View

Apartment location is great and view from balcony amazing. They need to upgrade Entertainment like a smart TV so guests can use their Netflix or other app. Overall apartment needs upgrade and some kids friendly stuff.

Beautiful Views, But Needs Improvement

The view from Bear’s Den is absolutely stunning, and the beds were very comfortable, making for restful nights. However, the main bedroom had a huge hole in the screen, and the second bedroom lacked a window screen entirely, preventing us from enjoying the fresh mountain air. The main bathroom was inadequately stocked with toilet paper, which was inconvenient for our stay. Additionally, the unit felt a bit tired and could have been cleaner. Be aware that the drive up and down the mountain is quite steep and winding, so it’s not for the faint of heart. Despite these issues, we enjoyed our time in Gatlinburg and appreciated the beautiful surroundings.

Magnificent Location

Being within 20 minutes of Gatlinburg and all the activities available there. The view from the property was stunning in the truest sense of the word. The property was well-maintained and clean. Felt remote. Hiking was beautiful. We saw a bear from the balcony! My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time for her birthday weekend. It was an unforgettable time. Truly!

Property was super clean family friendly. We didnt see any bears but saw lot's of rabbits and other wildlife. We had some of the best views we have ever had!

Spectacular views! Great condo with everything you need for a weekend getaway. Quiet, clean, comfortable. One unexpected bonus: we saw 17 bears during our shoet stay!

Great place to stay and just relax!

This was our 3rd time staying at High Chalets for our anniversary. (all through different owners). We love the remoteness and serenity! We buy all of our groceries prior to arriving and do not leave until time to go home. Each time we have seen the bears.. I highly recommend this property. The owners we very nice and responded promptly to any questions.

Comfortable condo

The condo was exactly as pictured. We loved the amazing view from the large living room window and the balcony. The only negatives about this place were the facilities weren’t cleaned very well. Whoever cleans for this condo didn’t do a very good job before our stay. There was a dried puddle of urine on the back of the toilet between the tank and seat. The dishwasher was still full, but the dishes were clean so we had to unload it ourselves, the keurig had an old used k-pod in it, and the fridge had a half full drink in it. The floor could have also used a little vacuuming. Other than the cleanliness of these things, we had an overall positive stay. The beds were comfortable as were the soft sheets! The WiFi also weren’t great!

Love this condo!

This was our second time staying here and I love this condo, I love everything about...the location, the view...it's perfect...almost. There is one thing I wish was different, and that's the king size bed...I wish it was lower, it is so high off the ground I have to jump to get into it. Also, the cleaners really need to do a better job...we had three towels per bathroom, no washcloths, no handtowels...I had to go buy some washcloths just so we could shower that night (we arrived late). Besides that, this place is wonderful!

The bears Den

The view was great . But hard to find with no directions. We had no wash clothes and couldn’t get ahold of management to take care of it. The water in the hot tubs where to cold to enjoy.

The views were beautiful!

This place was very nice. We really enjoyed the view! Love watching the tram go up and down the mountain . The condo was very clean . The beds were very comfortable . The only thing that I could complain about. There was no wash cloths. We did go out and purchase some. Other than that it was a great place.

Beautiful Location

Our stay was awesome and the views were spectacular. We got to see some bears that came to visit for dinner. Be prepared as the trip up and down the mountain to the unit can be an adventure, especially pulling a trailer!

Perfect Getaway

Condo was easy to access, with ample parking. View is pretty, and while a complex you didn't feel crowded. Home had all amenities needed for our stay in Gatlinburg. We were there for over a week for a dance competition, commute back and forth to Convention Center was easy.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This complex is at the top of ski mountain and the view is spectacular from our balcony. You can see the people at Ober Gatlinburg skiing down the slops from our balcony. There is no other building behing our building making it one of the more secluded condos in the complex.
