Hay 5 apartamentos en el edificio, con tres de ellos disponibles para alquiler vacacional. Cada uno es un apartamento completamente amueblado de 1100 pies cuadrados, que incluye electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, lavadora, secadora, cafetera y tostadora. Pisos de madera en la sala de estar, baldosas en la cocina / baño y alfombras en la suite principal. Un televisor de alta definición de 50 "en la sala de estar con el paquete Full Direct TV. Relaxing May Anniversary in a Lovely Place

Such a nice place to stay for our wedding anniversary. The apartment is lovely and quiet. We enjoyed our daily walks and the variety of architecture in the surrounding neighborhoods was a nice bonus.

Great stay

We meet a group of people once a year. This is a great property for that. We had all three units and it worked out perfectly. The backyard was a great space for gathering each night for dinner.

Fantastic time in Springfield

Bart and Sue were amazing hosts, very responsive to communication and helpful with area tips and really, anything we needed. The property is very comfortable and in a super location to get downtown, walk the beautiful Springfield neighborhood or just relax on the balcony or backyard garden. Highly recommend!! Nice Updated Apartment

This place was very clean and organized. I appreciated Bart and Sue's attention to detail and efforts to adhere to CDC recommendations. There was hand sanitizer everywhere and even a way to sanitize keys. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need for a short or long stay. Would happily stay here again.

Lovely apartment

Overall nice well kept, and very well equipped apartment, had everything we needed and loved sitting out on the balcony. Some noise from other building residents and local park. Located close to the stadium which is why we booked, but not a lot else in the immediate area., Would recommend and stay again.

Awesome location and wonderful rental

Stayed here for almost 3 months. Here for business. The apartment could not have been better. Everything you need is there and the location is perfect for exploring Jacksonville and the surrounding area. The inside of the apartment is very relaxing, a great place to be after a long day. This is where you should stay if your here for a couple of days or a couple of months! I have been traveling back and forth to Jax from Virginia for 10 months, and this is the best place I stayed, by far. Do yourself a favor and book JaxHouse. David

Sue and Bart were so welcoming! It was our first time staying in Jacksonville for the Georgia-Florida game and we had a blast! Convenient to everything and in a beautiful area. The room was more than what we needed or could have asked for, and everything was so well stocked. We didn't get to say goodbye as we had to get on the road after waking up late (Go Dawgs!) but we wanted to say thank you Sue and Bart! Jacksonville was great and we would love to come back some day! :)

The location is abt 20-25min walk to the downtown area. Be aware there are a lot of homeless people located near the property. We stayed 3 nights, we did not have any issues during our walk but chose to drive to the d-twn area the other 2 nights instead of walking...safety 1st & we are NY'ers. The wifi didn't work well At All! The host Sue said "Haven't had any issues with ours so I would suggest unplugging..." Her suggestion did not work. There are 5 units in 1 building - so our guess is the wifi is divvied up b/w the units. Primary unit could possibly be on their own server. Over all I would recommend this property, terrific location, parking, decently clean, some supplies & mattress was very comfortable. Our suggestion: don't depend on their wifi, be careful when walking, bring pillows & maybe ear plugs, the ceiling fan in the b/rm makes noise, the reusable Keurig cup did not fit, the k-cup coffee offered was stale so bring your own & don't count on the barn door to close.

Thanks for staying with us Mydris - we certainly understand everyone has their own comfort level regardless of where they are from or have lived. We have been here over 7 years and haven't had any issues or concerns. We ride our bikes and walk into the downtown area for events, dining, concerts and sporting events all the time. Each unit has their own WIFI so your assumption is incorrect. And after suggesting to unplug the router box and plug it back in - you only replied back "Thanks". So we were unaware you were still having an issue or we would have gladly walked down the flight of stairs and provided assistance. Thank you for the rest of your feedback, we haven't had anyone have issues with the refillable K-Cup before - and we actually purchase the Pods every other week so maybe it just wasn't a flavor or brand you prefer. We do provide a starter supply to get guests going - but we also highly recommend a stroll up to Social Grounds or 1748 Bakehouse for their delicious coffees! Both are only a few blocks away. We were already cautious when you booked because you never asked any questions prior to reserving and then kept calling it a "house". So we advised you it was 1 of 5 apartments in a building but you insisted on keeping your reservation. Some guests definitely are "house" people and not apartment people - especially in 116+ year old buildings. We love hosting our guests and are looking forward to having our future ones love our area and buidling as much as we do! Best Wishes, Bart & Sue

Lovely Stay close to the Hospital

My family and I were in Jacksonville not for vacation, but to take care of a loved one in the trauma ward at UF Health. The main reason we picked this place was its distance to the hospital (only a 5 minute drive). We hoped it would offer a comfortable bed and a nice quiet neighborhood, but weren't expecting much. Thankfully both the bed and couch were extremely comfortable. Additionally the neighborhood was very safe and quiet. We ended up in two of Bart and Sue's apartments (1 and then 3) and highly recommend both. Excellent amenities and a very relaxing stay allowed us to rest and recharge before going to the hospital daily. One of the apartments we stayed in offered a balcony which was so nice after a long day to just have a tea on or work from. But both apartments have access to a really lovely backyard. Checking in and out were a breeze. As was parking on the street every night. Only minor inconvenience were a lack of laundry detergent, large trash bags, and a kitchen sponge in one of the apartments but we were so drained and it was the last night of our stay that it wasn't really much of an issue. They had everything else like dishwasher pods, hair dryers, and even dryer sheets that it just stood out. Probably an oversight by the cleaning crew and I'm sure had I noticed earlier and communicated it, the items would have been provided. You can hear people walking around on the hardwood upstairs if you have an upstairs neighbor, but not much of an issue for me as I'm used to it and it wasn't too distracting. Thanks for the stay. Hope this review helps. I would highly recommend this place if you need a week off to rest and refresh from whatever drains you in life.

The best spot in Jax!!

What an amazing stay! It's hard to put into words how awesome our experience here was and how great Sue and Bart were as on-site hosts. My husband, our pup, and I stayed here for a month while we were looking for a home for purchase in Jacksonville FL after moving across the country, and we could not have picked a better spot. This unit's beautiful, airy/industrial loft, huge comfy couch, well equipped kitchen, laundry in-unit, and a beautiful balcony made our stay so easy. And Sue and Bart were so helpful and kind with regular recommendations for local events and bike/run routes to explore. We loved the communal garden/grill area out back as well. This place felt like a luxury urban vacation and home all at once. We were sad to leave Jax Brickhouse after we moved into our home! Thanks for everything, Sue and Bart!!

This loft is everything you see in the pictures and more! My first time staying in the historic Springfield area and I loved it. Bart and Sue have not missed any details to provide a comfortable, safe and beautiful space in their house. Kitchen is well stocked with full size appliances. Living room couch is super comfy. Master bedroom is spacious, as is the full size bath. Love the rain shower in the master bath! For a loft, they have utilized every space to provide a spacious area to enjoy. One of my favorites is the covered balcony with this unit...comfy chairs and tables facing the street. There is a fan to keep you cool. I spent a lot of time on this balcony! This loft is a do-over for my family! Many thanks!

Great Stay in Springfield’s Jax Brickhouse!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Jax Brickhouse.. And historic Springfield is fabulous! The apartment is exactly as pictured with all the necessities included. Sue and Bart were excellent at providing information for check-in and were readily available, but there was nothing we needed during our stay.

Super Nice

Clean and quiet apartment. The owners were easy to communicate with and were always pleasant. If we are ever back in Jacksonville, we will be staying here again!

Springfield Apartment Near Downtown

Very nice apartment. Clean and spacious. Was close to downtown, near a park, and convenient to the courthouse. Was used for out of town lawyers who need lodging. Would reccomend it.

Perfect

Beautiful historical neighborhood, awesome space, very clean! The hosts are super accommodating and kind. What a wonderful place to stay.The apartment is loft like and the balconies are very relaxing, there's a nice green space next to the building for exercise.

JBH is Five Stars!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Jax Brick House for one night for a wedding in town. It was a perfect location for us. It’s a very walkable area with unique historic homes and a beautiful park. The apartment itself was immaculate with gorgeous brick walls and an outdoor patio perfect for having a glass of wine and watching the sun set. The couches and bed were comfy and having access to a washer and dryer was a great amenity! What more can you ask for? We loved our stay and would definitely book here again! Thanks so much for having us!
