MALLARD COTTAGE est un endroit idéal pour les couples qui souhaitent passer du temps de qualité ensemble loin du stress de la vie quotidienne. Il est également trÚs populaire auprÚs des jeunes mariés et des couples qui souhaitent célébrer des événements spéciaux tels que les anniversaires de mariage.

EMPLACEMENT:
Idéal pour les randonneurs, les cyclistes et les kayakistes, les amateurs de vin et de biÚre !!
Le colvert est situé sur 15 acres de terres de conservation biologique mais à seulement 11 km du centre-ville d'Ithaca.
Les randonneurs adoreront notre environnement, car le sentier Finger Lakes Trail passe juste en dessous de la propriété. En plus nous sommes:
1 1/2 miles de Robert Treman State Park / Lucifer Falls et 3 autres parcs d'État, tous avec de belles cascades dans un rayon de 10 mile.
7 miles du centre-ville d'Ithaca.
9 miles de Cornell.
5 miles de Ithaca College.
10 miles de Trumansburg
18 miles de Watkins Glenn.
16 km des sentiers de vin et de biĂšre de Cayuga et de Senaca.
DESCRIPTION DE LA PROPRIÉTÉ
Ce joli petit cottage avec poutres apparentes et poutres apparentes a été rénové en 2015. Il comprend une cuisine bien équipée et une salle de bains carrelée avec douche et sÚche-cheveux. La chambre a un lit queen et une porte donnant sur le pont enveloppant spacieux qui offre une vue imprenable sur Robert Treman Park vers Ithaca.
Il y a un canapé-lit dans le salon pour une troisiÚme personne.
Une connexion Internet haut débit et un écran de télévision de 32 'avec une barre de son pour diffuser des films et écouter de la musique sont disponibles.
Le pont est équipé d'un petit gril à gaz, de fauteuils et d'un ensemble à manger avec parasols
Les PETS bien Ă©levĂ©s et socialement adaptĂ©s sont les bienvenus. Les chiens doivent ĂȘtre amicaux envers les chiens et les gens. Ils peuvent errer dans nos locaux dĂ©chaĂźnĂ©s, nager dans notre Ă©tang et courir sur notre grande pelouse.
Mallard Cottage est alimenté par l'énergie solaire et des pratiques écologiques sont activement observées.

The cottage is wonderful! My partner and I had an incredible stay. Very comfortable, very cozy. Our dog Sandy also loved the property and meeting the owners' dog, Sally. We would love to stay here again if we ever come back to the area.

Very nice cottage on beautiful, natural grounds . A panoramic view of the hills and valleys. Lovely colorful flowers everywhere. The hoists were very friendly, as was their dog :) Very close to Ithaca and a short drive to Watkins Glen. I highly recommend this peaceful summer Alpine setting.

Tranquil and charming country property

We had a lovely stay in this charming cottage in New Field.The host Inez is an avid gardner and there were flowers and birds through out the property. We had our 2 dogs with us and they were greeted by the owner's sweet Golden Retriever. There is a huge deck to grill and eat outside on and beautiful views to enjoy the setting sun.

Fantastic stay for us and our pup

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mallard Cottage. A great base to explore the eastern Finger Lakes and Ithaca. Incredibly close to Robert H Treman park and it's gorgeous waterfalls. Beautiful, well maintained property with gorgeous flowers and plenty of space for our dog to run around and play. He had the best vacation of his life. Also the fireflies were magical, they put on quite a show every evening. Inez and Tom were wonderful hosts and were quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. Would highly recommend!

First visit to the Finger Lakes

We were excited to find this gem of a property that also welcomes pets. It was our first visit to the Finger Lakes and we got to see some of the highlights (Watkins Glen, Buttermilk Falls, wineries) within easy driving distances. We will happily stay here again.

Great location - very restful and beautiful but close to lots to see

We so enjoyed our stay with Inez and Tom - best hosts ever. There when you needed them but privacy when you wanted it. Beautiful location and Inez’s gardens are stunning. Two friendly golden retrievers was icing on the cake for our Labrador - a truly dog friendly place.

Tranquil oasis

The setting and view are beautiful. The owners were friendly and accommodating. Our dogs had lots to explore . The cottage is charming and comfortable. This was a tranquil and pleasant getaway.... highly recommend!

Beautiful spot!

Wonderful cottage!

Inez & Tom were welcoming and incredibly helpful with tips for local activities. Our pup loved playing with Sally & Floyd and the cottage was the perfect spot for a getaway. We will definitely be back!

Mallard Cottage is a gem!

We had a wonderful stay at the Mallard Cottage. Views from the deck were spectacular, witnessed a full moon rising in the East and delighted in the beautiful end of day light glowing in the fields below. The cottage was bright and airy with several windows affording views and natural light. Clean and cozy and had everything we could possibly need. .

Mallard Cottage

The cottage is cozy and lovely! The fireflies were pretty spectacular and you dogs were a lot of fun! The location is great for hiking adventures and visiting the area’s waterfalls and state parks. Overall it was a wonderful bucolic respite from city.

Wonderful stay!

The cottage, with its beautiful deck, was heavenly. Sitting out each morning and evening gazing out over the flowers and countryside, was wonderful. Inez and Tom showed us around and were very helpful throughout our stay. The stay was very restorative - being surrounded by nature was just what we needed. Highly recommend!

Beautiful & Serene

Beautiful area quiet and serene. Dogs were cute Inez was very nice. Our private deck was so nice to sit and eat or drink coffee. The house and outside was perfect for my partner and I. We would def choice again. Convenient to the best waterfalls (Robert Treman Park and stone bend was a mile away w great wood fire pizza.

I was born in the Netherlands and lived in England and South Africa before moving to the USA in 2006. I studied biodynamic agriculture and specialized in cheese making.
I have been living in the Finger Lakes since June 2013 and love the wide variety of activities that this region has to offer.
I met Tom soon after moving here. He was born in Interlaken on Cayuga Lake, studied physical education and lived in 10 different states for over 30 years until he returned to the Finger Lakes in 2007.
Is he happy to be back home? "Yes, there is no place like it!!"
We enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds us on a daily basis and are happy to be able to share this wealth with other people.

We fell in love with this property which dates from 1846 the moment we saw it on line. We love the beautiful peaceful surroundings and the close proximity to everything this area has to offer. Ithaca has an international vibe due to Cornell and Ithaca College and there are sooo many things to do and enjoy in the local surroundings!!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

A GREAT spot for nature lovers:We are surrounded by nature and keep seeing new bird species and other wild life.
We have turned 5 acres of our property into a MONARCH BUTTERFLY SANCTUARY which can be seen and visited from the cottage. During the month of July the field is lit up by millions of fire flies, a light show which rivals the distant city lights of Ithaca!

We live in the Manor House which is also situated on this property. It dates from 1846 and we have turned it into a small B&B offering two double rooms. So if you want to bring more friends and/or family we can put them up
