This spot is incredible. It has great proximity to the beach and shops. The check in process was incredibly easy. The owners are very kind. I fully plan on coming back here next year. This place really was the best.

Awesome Location

I booked this for my Mother In-law it was perfect, location was great, She loved it, I stayed at 1007 Balboa Blvd, Do Not Book This Place It is Horrible, No Power, Smells like Sewage, No Parking, Host is Rude, nothing positive about this place go somewhere else believe me

Good but weird shower

The pictures included a sitting area with coffee table. The sofa was different than in the photo and no coffee table. The shower handle was backwards (to get hot water the handle pointed to cold) and you had to turn on the sink faucet to get the hot water. One of the two shower heads did not work at all. The working shower head had a lot of calcium deposits blocking the flow.

Great location right in the middle of balboa island. Right next to the beach, the bay, the fun zone and shopping. Very comfortable and just as the pictures show. Will be going back here again.

Perfect location! property was clean, beds were comfortable. Had an issue with early check in after I paid my 75. We were told that there were beach chairs and towels, but there was only one chair, no umbrella, but there were four beach towels. Overall was nice and we did enjoy our stay.

In need of TLC/Cleaning/Maintenance

My stay was for 26 days. Unit is an upstairs location (15 to 18 steps). Found unit to be dirty and in need of deep cleaning if not repainting. A Shutter was completely broken and anything metal (hinges) was rusted out in various places. In-wall AC/Heater incapable of keeping entire unit temperature controlled. Portable heater was required and not enough heat for unit. The shower was clogged and slow draining for entire stay, despite using DrainO and plumber was never sent. Rainwater poured into guest bedroom window and no one was ever sent to repair. Unit has weird smell that I could never get out. Wonder if it is mold from the leaky window frames....... Oven did not work. One Bedroom with a den, is really the configuration. So small that you turn on one TV and all three TV's turn on. In general, good location but expected much better given the pictures and description of the unit. Would not come back to this unit.

Amazing location!

This property is the perfect location to the Newport Pier, the Fun Zone, the beach and the bay. You can do everything! The apartment was clean and updated with a great kitchen and bathroom. Not huge but size was not an issue for us. We did have some communication issues with the check in process and also the garage spot. Overall, would definitely stay again.

Upgrades needed

Stayed there last year and no improvements have been upgraded. Maintenance (cleaners)blocked garage and waited 10-15 minutes to park in garage Also blocked in garage by cars and could not it out. For the price we paid not happy 😕

Excellent location, great stay

We loved it. Great location - so much to do on the peninsula, and on Balboa island and in Newport. Beach is one short block in one direction and harbor is 1/2 block in the other direction. Beds were comfortable. Nice to have a full kitchen. Manager was communicative in a good way in the days leading up to arrival. The apartment is relatively small but worked perfectly for us, and isn’t an issue as you’re out and about enjoying the weather and the activities. The bathroom is a shared bathroom in between the 2 bedrooms so might be best for a family and maybe awkward if it was 2 couples or something, garage pretty small but would work for a small car. We loved it and will return. Great price too. Thanks for a great stay!

Beach Trip

The location is good like other reviews. Walking distance to restaurants right across from the beach. The place was clean and the owners responded quickly when we had questions. It was a nice place for a quick visit to Newport Beach.

Walk to the beach and enjoy all there is to take in. If you are headed to Newport Beach this place is tops!! Makes for the perfect beach getaway.

It was ok.

The place was ok we didnt recieve the code to the door had to wait over and hour to get in. Also not sure if the place was cleaned there was trash left on the counter in the kitchen. Some of the pics where decieving the pic of the shoping area is a 20 min drive not in walking distence as described. Also couldn't figure out fans in the room and some of the remotes didnt have batteries.

Perfect for our needs

Exactly what you want and need for a simple but wonderful beach stay. Sweet little view out the window of the den, kitchen is well appointed enough to cook in, cozy and comfortable. Bed could use a topper of some kind, always hope for a comfortable bed on vacation, but otherwise has everything you need! BBQ! Laundry! Thanks Mike!
