As a family we were looking for a relaxing weekend away in a beautiful location with a view of the ocean. Horizons gave us that and more. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed our rooms with a view.

This is a big, older style property. Worked well for our large group of families. Noisy in high winds - we had a huge front come through. Otherwise comfortable and well equipped kitchen etc. Older style fittings but modern kitchen appliances. Excellent baths. Great communication from Matt Amazing view. We brought eye shades - essential as the window covers don’t block much light - and a google tv dongle so we could stream. Otherwise came with everything we needed.

10 of us stayed at Horizons. The beds were made beautifully, the view is lovely and the area gorgeous. We were disappointed however that Horizons is looking very tired and in need of a bit of TLC. For tennis people, the condition of the court is appalling. The size of the pool should be mentioned on the advert as it is tiny. The area in and around the dishwasher smelt of blocked drains, the TV wouldn’t operate properly, the UE-boom didn’t work, leaking of roof above the huge picture in TV room, dimmer switches not working, bulbs not working. The kitchen cupboards were in a state of disrepair. The patio furniture was also a bit tatty. For the price we paid in comparison to the other two houses we hired - Carpe Artes and Carpe Vino, Horizons is most certainly overpriced.

It's a beautifully located property. The owner was very helpful in letting us drop bags early and have Mum and baby rest in one of the rooms before official checkin time. Thank you.The owner said they are about to rennovate the property, which will be welcome as a number of services are tired.

Amazing views & kangaroos too

The house in its day must have been a showstopper! It was comfortable and spacious for our group of 10. The location is fantastic and convenient. The views are breathtaking. The kitchen is well equipped to cook & entertain. The tennis court has seen better days but we still played, the pool is very small, more of a dipping pool.

Would love to return one day

The property was beautiful, view of the ocean and the stars was absolutely stunning, and upstairs beds were the most comfortable beds I've slept in for some time - I think a must when on a luxury holiday! We used the tennis courts, the pool, and streamed to the TV via our laptop. No issues at all. Comms with the property owner and manager were good, very responsive before and during our stay and went over and above to ensure we were looked after, and even allowed us a late check-out. The property was very close to the beach and shops, but stock up on ice and food before arriving as you don't want to leave once you're there! Also, if hoping to go out for lunch or dinner, book ahead. We were shocked that most local places were booked out when trying to book the same day. We booked quite late and had two service people stop by during our stay, as the lawns were not moved, and the house next door were doing some works which were quite noisy. The owners did what they could do under the circumstances and allowed us a late checkout which was lovely. It would be great if the cushions were put on the outside chairs before arrival as as soon as you arrive you just want to sit down outside and soak up the view. Pricing was reasonable, but booking at the very last minute due to changing COVID restrictions, we were very grateful to find a place this lovely at such short notice. Overall, we would definitely book through Horizons again.

Friggen amazing

This house has it all. A massive massive home filled to the brim with everything you would have need to have a great holiday. We only had a small group , but you could easily fit 3 large families with plenty of space. Cannot rave about this place enough. Loved every minute of our stay.
