About this property

A Place to Stay - A place to stay

Lychen House is a guest house with three double rooms and a family room in the center of Lychen. We are a New Zealand / German family and have converted the former district court of the city of Lychen into a hostel (and our home).
The small town of Lychen lies like an island between seven lakes, surrounded by extensive forests and the Uckermark Lakes Nature Park.
The house offers spacious rooms (on the top floor), and on the ground floor a large guest kitchen for self-catering, a guest living room, garden use, a few bicycles, a canoe and a family atmosphere.
We rent to groups (8+), but also by room. Our guests can take care of themselves here, but we can also prepare breakfast on request.
We are not far from Berlin - by car or train and bus you are one and a half hours in the center of the capital.
We ourselves live in the house (middle floor) and are happy to give our guests tips for exploring our beautiful surroundings.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Eine sehr geschmackvolle Ferienwohnung

Unsere Familie hat sich hier für drei Tage sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Lage des grossen Hauses liegt unschlagbar - fast direkt am Wasser, zwischen den Lychener Seen eingebettet. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll und individuell eingerichtet mit ausgesuchten 50/60er Jahre Möbeln und der vielseitigen Kunst des Gastgebers. In der Riesen-Küche konnten wir wunderbar mit 9 Leuten zusammen kochen und essen. Die Lage ist super für Rad- und Wandertouren in die Umgebung. Rundum schön, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Schade, dass das Wochenende schon zu ende ist

Wir waren alle begeistert von der Größe des Hauses, vor allem die große Wohnküche hatte es uns angetan. Die Räume sind mit vielseitigen, interessanten Kunstobjekten liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber wohnen auch im Haus, man bekommt aber kaum etwas von Ihnen mit. Die Kommunikation war freundlich und problemlos. Obwohl das Haus mitten in der Stadt liegt ist es total ruhig.

Sehr freundliche Vermieter und viel Platz

Wir haben hier als Großfamilie Urlaub gemacht. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, das Haus ist sauber und geräumig und bietet sogar großen Familien ausreichend Platz. Fahrräder und ein Kanu sind inklusive, was uns sehr entgegenkam und die Gegend ist wunderschön!

Entspannter Aufenthalt in Lychen

Wir haben uns bei den Catos sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr großzügig, wir konnten uns ausbreiten und hatten mit 5 Kindern einen entspannten Urlaub. Besonders gut hat uns die große Wohnküche gefallen, in der es uns an nichts fehlte. Das Kanu für 4 Personen, das wir fast täglich genutzt haben, war ein besonderes Highlight und wir haben damit alle Seen rund um Lychen besucht.

Wohlfühloase für Familien

Die Ferienunterkunft war für unseren Ausflug als Großfamilie ideal. Die Räumlichkeiten, vor allem die große Wohnküche, sind für Familien mit kleinen Kindern gut geeignet. Die Kinder konnten auch ungehindert im großen Garten spielen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und völlig unkompliziert. Wir können die Unterkunft für Gruppen oder Familien empfehlen.

ein schöner leider kurzer Aufenthalt bei netten Vermietern. Gerade für Familien eignet es sich, weil viele Räume zur Verfügung stehen, v.a. auch eine große Küche mit allem notwendigen Inventar. Also durchaus weiter zu empfehlen.

A place to stay :)

Trotz eher schlechten Wetters hatten wir eine tolle Woche bei den Catos. Schöne und großzügige Räumlichkeiten, originell und gemütlich eingerichtet; Betten sehr bequem. Alles da, was wir brauchten. Toll, dass man das Boot ausleihen und direkt damit lospaddeln kann. Der kürzeste Zugang zum See ist zu Fuß 1 Minute entfernt. Sehr nette Vermieter - zwei Bilder des Hausherrn haben wir mit nach Hause genommen. Metzger nebenan mit Brötchen, oder 'bessere' Brötchen 5 Min Fußweg. Das Alte Kino gegenüber hat uns auch gut gefallen (Filme, Konzerte, Karaoke).

Tolle Unterkunft in perfekter Lage

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Sara und Marcs Haus in Lychen. Die super ausgestattete, gemütliche Küche, der schöne große Garten, die geräumigen Zimmer und die Lage mitten in Lychen haben uns besonders gefallen. Die Organisation und Kommunikation war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Nebenan ist ein wirklich guter Metzger, wir haben fast jeden Abend gegrillt. Das Eiscafé am Platz war auch super. Mit dem Rad oder Auto ist der Netto in wenigen Minuten gut zu erreichen, zu Fuß ist es aber auch ohne Probleme möglich. Tolle Radtouren, viele Badeseen, Kajakverleihstationen und auch ein paar nette Cafés und Restaurants - alles ist quasi direkt vor der Haustür. Wir können Sara und Marcs 'Place to Stay' wirklich jedem weiterempfehlen und hoffen, unser Weg führt uns eines Tages wieder nach Lychen.

Ein sehr schöner Platz um mit einer großen Familie oder Freunden ein paar Tage im schönen Lychen zu verbringen. Die Unterkunft lässt keine Wünsche offen, die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Perfekt fürs Familientreffen

Unsere Familie (10 Personen) hat sich rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich, entgegenkommend und herrlich unkompliziert. Inmitten eines Seenparadises, central im idyllischen Ort Lychen gelegen

Wunderschön und nett unkompliziert!

Familie Cato hat ein sehr individuell eingerichtetes Schmuckstück geschaffen. Lychen ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert. Wasser, Wasser und nochmal Wasser! Bei den sommerlichen Temperaturen die perfekte Umgebung für ein generationenübergreifendes Familientreffen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder, es war toll! Danke!

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt in wunderschöner Umgebung.

Ein sehr schönes Haus mit viel Kunst und schönen Zimmern z.T. mit tollem Ausblick, einer sehr gemütlichen Küche und einem schönen Garten sowie eine sehr freundlichen Familie, die ihr Haus mit den Gästen teilt.
