This well appointed, 2-bedroom unit is directly across the road from the pristine waters of Shoal Bay Beach and only a short walk to all the attractions and amenities Shoal Bay has to offer, including Tomaree Mountain. There are also four beaches in Shoal Bay to choose from; Shoal Bay Beach is popular for paddle boarding and snorkeling whilst Zenith, Box and Wreck beach are most popular for surfing and body boarding. Stroll along the foreshore at your doorstep for restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops.
In the popular Del Rae complex, this top floor, north facing apartment claims prime position with its front row balcony views over the spectacular bay and out to the headland. Sit out on the balcony with your family or friends and enjoy the view and fresh, salty breeze – it's a must while staying at this unit.
The cosy apartment features open plan living with a new kitchen and a new LED TV and DVD player. It also boasts ceiling fans in every room plus plantation shutters throughout. The bathroom has a bathtub, shower and toilet and the internal laundry offers a washer and dryer. Both bedrooms have built-in robes, and one has a queen bed while the other features 2 single beds.
There is one off-street car spot, however it is very small so street parking is available but is metered.

The parking for unit 12is not suitable for a large vehicle.And street parking is metered.The unit doesn’t have aircon or Wi Fi .And the TV was cheap and small.

The property is also not advertised as having air conditioning or Wi‑Fi, and we aim to ensure all amenities are clearly listed so guests know what to expect before booking.

Great property in a lovely place. Just needs wifi (vital these days), plus working heaters and a dishwasher as well as at least basics like a dish cloth, tea towel, cleaning spray and a few other welcoming touches. Lounges ready to be updated.

Fantastic View
The view was to die for, falling asleep each night to the sound of the waves. Very close to shops & restaurants. Only issue was there was no air con & the flat heats up in the afternoon, somedays it was very uncomfortable & hard to get to sleep. The portable air con did not make much difference.

What about the customer?
34 degrees on arrival. Aircon not working and no support from management. Luckilly weather cooled as we were there for 5 nights. Great location and view helped make up for the feel that it is all about the owners and property managers and not about the visitors.

Position of property is perfect. Opposite the waters of Shoal Bay and walking distance to the cafes and restaurants.All other areas in the Bay Area are a short drive if you want to go to a different bay. I needed to contact real estate on arrival because of two different inquiries and they were dealt with and I then received a follow up phone call to confirm that all had been dealt with.The windows only open a few cm, I guess for safety or weather changes but it would be nice if the second bedroom one opened a bit more as that room does get hot and AC or breeze from balcony doors struggles to get down there.I would definitely stay here again.

Location good BUT Unit ?
We've been many holidays but this unit poorest booking ever for our 2 wks holiday.Only positive aspect of this unit having front load washing machine that's ALL.Too many Negative attributes! Unit managed by PRD very poorly.Terrible and very uncomfortable sofa at living area (you slide on cannot sit still)+ unit ONLY includes basic staff nothing extra/add on..Being on top floor 45 steps KILLS you at the end (even tho we are very fit family believe me it's hard job when you carry so many items day in <> day out to top floor )You cannot enjoy sitting at the balcony when hard wind blows which was the case during our 2 wks stay. Rooms has ceiling fun but so much dust on it I couldn't turned on so we end up sleeping boiling rooms(ps. you cannot open windows cos it has lock system)! Aircon wasn't working in living room.I felt waste of time and money this time around our Shoal Bay visit.There is more to say but..what for! Simply, we weren't happy overall.

Perfect Location!
This was our first visit to Port Stephens. We chose this property based on internet photos. What a unit! It was clean, neat, bright & sunny with spectacular views of Shoal Bay. In walking distance to shops and a quiet location. I would definitely recommend this unit and would love to stay in it again.

Loved it!
We've stayed in Shoal Bay many times over the years but this would be one of our favourites. Great clean reasonably modern unit with fabulous views of the water. Weather was pretty average for our stay but we still made the most of our stay. Would happily book this unit again in the future.

Family short break
We had a few days to spare in the school holidays and I found this unit on line.
This unit is the best value and location in the Bay. We could have wanted any thing else.
My family have asked if we can stay here again.
I would like to buy it if it ever gets on the market.
Thanks so much for letting it out so we can all enjoy this great place.
