The owners, Marianne and Karl-Heinz Stumpf, have both lived for over 30 years in Moers on the Lower Rhine - near Düsseldorf. In 1989, we came to Hua Hin for the first time and signed an initiative against the first high-rise (now Hilton Hotel). We did not think it was so bad later on and even lived there - and we got to know the Banyan Resort project during a small real estate trade fair. Hua Hin is the favourite resort from Karl-Heinz, the golfer (unfortunately the only one) in the family. Marianne loves shopping in small boutiques, always looks for possibilities to make our house beautiful and likes to meet with friends who live in Hua Hin. Currently, we are only 3-4 weeks a year in Hua Hin, which we want to change to 3-4 months in about 5 years (2018).

Why they chose this property

The Banyan Resort has everything that we need for your holiday: Large, air-conditioned living rooms, large swimming pool directly in front of the terrace, a shaded terrace for eating breakfast, a garden around the house, special conditions for the Banyan Golf Course and all hotel services are available. In 10 minutes you can take a taxi to the city, the beach or the Banyan Golf Course. - Hua Hin is a (still) small tourist city with relatively few "red light offers", for relaxing and swimming as well as a golfer paradise with over 10 golf courses that can be reached within 30 minutes. Since Hua Hin is also the summer residence of the king, it will be a popular holiday destination in the future for many Thai as well.
