Our family (with four young children) and my parents stayed in this lovely, spacious, clean home for 9 days in Feb, 2011. We thoroughly enjoyed the house, yard, and pool. Everything was extremely well-maintained and in working condition.
Even with four adults and four children, we never felt crowded or in each others' way. The kitchen was stocked with the basic (+ more) pantry items you'd expect to see, and we made our own breakfasts, some lunches, and baked desserts with ease.
The house manager worked right across the lane at the cafe and there was never a time that we had a question that she wasn't available. (By the way, the cafe serves all meals, and brought suppers over to us in the evening when we asked. We walked across the street and ordered and within 30 min. we had a delicious, filling meal.)
The beach right at the end of the lane was very populated with 50-70 year old visitors. We chose to walk 10 min farther down the beach past them to where their were less people.
Restaurants were within a few minute walk. We had a little trouble figuring out exactly where they were first evening (and probably could have asked the helper), but as we walked down the road just a few minutes toward the town, we saw a sign for the big Boat restaurant and enjoyed our meal there.
A few minutes in toward the town was a bus stop with buses traveling the main road to Hua Hin every ten minutes. We took tuktuks back to the house when we were done in HuaHin.
In the town right nearby we used the ATMs, bought fresh fruit, walked up to Monkey Mountain, and ate at some of the little eateries for lunch.
The owners of this house responded kindly and quickly to all questions we had before and after agreeing to rent. We were very pleased with our refreshing vacation, and the lovely home was a big part of it.
