You can relax in the midst of nature and relax enough with us in Sörbylund.

The approximately 7000 m² property with forest and garden offers shady places to relax and linger. If you want, you can enjoy the sun in the hammock.
In the evening you sit around the campfire and let your mind wander.
You can also experience the long summer evenings from the glazed veranda. You have the view over to the forest hill and sit in the middle of the green.

We have lovingly renovated our Sörbylund holiday home and furnished it for you. It is designed to offer you all the comfort you need for a pleasant holiday in Sweden.

Spacious you will find an open and fully equipped kitchen with dining area: electric stove with oven, extractor hood, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and all other necessary kitchen utensils. Everything is there;
possibly also a high chair.

From there you can access the cozy sleeping area as well as the living room and the adjacent light-flooded veranda.
We are equipped with German satellite TV and we can provide you with a modem if required.

In the bathroom you have a shower, a sink and a new toilet.

The washing machine is at your disposal in the outside house.

If necessary, we also have a sleeping or Youth room prepared.
A small cot can possibly be placed in the bedroom.

Our nature: swimming, hiking ...
Västergötland is primarily known for its varied nature. These can be explored very well both on foot and by bike.

Depending on the season, you can find all kinds of berries and mushrooms here.

In nearby Björsjö or in all the other surrounding lakes you can go fishing and swimming; just like down in Vättern in Brevik: sandy beach and Breviks fiskehamn - a small fishing port -.
Canoe tours are offered in Tibro, for example. You can also take boat trips on the Vättern or Örlen, and on the Viken in Forsvik (Forsvik Naturcamping) you can enjoy the beautiful nature from the water with a rowing boat.

Not far from Sörbylund is the local recreation area 'Rankås fritidsområde' with its many nature trails and hiking trails.

A little further north you come to Forsvik. This small town nearby - on the Göta Canal - enables you to experience the old shipyard and a paddle steamer. The oldest lock of the famous Göta Canal was also built here.

The idyllic small town Karlsborg presents itself in Europe with two of the greatest buildings of all time: fortress and Götakanal
The Vättern and the Göta Canal are u. a. connected by their beautiful shorelines. You can stay there carefree; as long as you want and experience a lot of variety.

In Tibro itself there is the 'Furniture Museum' and the cultural center 'Balterydsgården'. The mini zoo, library and cinema can also be found there.

There is another, varied outdoor activity at 'Kavelbron Event', 16 km away. Here you can fly helicopters, parachute, bowl and bow.

In the Tiveden National Park, adventure awaits everyone looking for magically beautiful nature; with huge boulders, deep, moss-covered valleys, steep ridges and crystal-clear lakes. There is always something new to discover here!

The Arena adventure wave pool in Skövde is definitely worth a visit - for all generations.
