About this property

The Amaroo by the Lake

"Amaroo," meaning beautiful place by the lake. This townhouse is situated just a few steps from Lake Mulwala with direct access to Chinaman's Island. Step outside the back gate and take a leisurely walk or bike ride along the track which stretches from Silverwoods' Golf Club to the Yarrawonga township foreshore. We are also situated only 100m from the Yacht Club and lakeside swimming areas, for blissful days spent canoeing, sailing, SUP's and waterskiing. Enjoy the inground swimming pool or just take time to relax on the upstairs terrace which has a stunning view of the lake. On colder evenings, gather around the outdoor firepit and keep warm as the sun goes down. If you are a golfer, this property is 5 minutes by car to the Black Bull course at Silverwoods and a short driveto all the other wonderful golf courses. There are four bedbrooms which are configured as follows:
BR 1: KB, WIR, television and Ensuite ( Downstairs )
BR2: KB, WIR, Ensuite and Television
BR3: QB
BR4: QB and KS
Bedroom 3 and 4 share a large family bathroom and a separate toilet.

All linen, pillows, doonas, blankets and bath towels are supplied.

Ground floor has an undercover balcony with an outdoor table and chairs in a secure backyard with BBQ facilities leading out to a beautiful swimming pool for hours of family fun.
A second living area is on the first floor with a television and a large private balcony which looks over Lake Mulwala and Chinaman's Island. The upstairs balcony has a dining table and chairs for eight, a fridge and bar tables and stools for eight.

Great house in a nice location.

Well equipped, spacious house, with a nice outlook. House has been well kept and was very comfortable to stay in. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling as a family or three couple group.

Fantastic Accomodation

The place was fabulous. It was clean, the pool was amazing and the ease to get to town was fantastic. Every utensil needed was available and the beds were very comfortable. With the location right next to the lake it was great to site out the back by the pool and enjoy all of the scenery at the back of the property.

Amazing location

We had a fantastic long weekend at Marilyn’s house. The location was fantastic, the kids loved the pool and easy access to lovely walls along the lake as well. The house was massive, far bigger than what you see in photos, it was clean and had everything we needed. Thank you.

Perfect!

Beautiful house in a great location. This is the fourth time we have stayed at The Amaroo by the Lake, which is the perfect accommodation for our group of four couples. With lovely weather for our stay both outdoor areas got lots of use with lovely views over the lake. And, when the temperature dropped at night, there was plenty of room for us all in the main living area. Thanks Marilyn, we will be back!

A Lakeside Gem!

This is quite a magnificent property! Clean, spacious, well-appointed and with every feature to satisfy the most discerning guest, this beautiful home will not disappoint. The beds were extremely comfortable, guaranteeing a relaxing stay. The pool was sparkling and inviting although the property itself is only a very short distance from the lake and a variety of interesting lakeside walks. If anything, the website entry for this house does not do it justice - the moment we came though the door we were confronted with pleasant surprises. This is one of those homes to which you look forward to returning. We can't recommend it highly enough, and host Marylyn is a wonderful communicator.
