Lake front photos

The property manager was very hard to get a hold of and wouldn’t return calls, the advertising pictures were misleading because it showed the water right up to the house when in reality it was at least 3/4 to a mile away. I know there is a drought but then update your photos.

Great Property that deserves 5 stars

Great location next to the lake, very secluded, every snowed in or summer vacation by the lake family’s dream vacation. A lot of thought went into making this cabin the perfect stay between the furniture to the beds to the kitchen and deck. For future renters, the lake has shrunk due to the drought but it is still very close and visible, just not at the properties decks, you can launch your kayak close to the property, great fishing spot for fishing enthusiasts. Internet worked great and could work for remote work, cell signal was okay for calls and texting but you wont be using any data, I believe US Cellular is the primary carrier in this area and further up north so if you use Verizon or AT&T your phone might work just not as good as US Cellular.

nice place but needs some work

Awful linen, totally spent pillows, no lights on the bedroom night stands, no kleenex, no towel racks or hooks for hanging cloths in the bathroom, very difficult to use TV, outside railing needs to be shored up, french doors fail to close securely such that they can be easily pushed open from the outside, the indoor pot belly stove had no directions provided

Amazing lake-front home

This beautiful home is everything you could wish for in a lakefront house. Floor to ceiling windows facing the lake provide the most incredible unobstructed lake views from sunrise to sunset. The modern kitchen and open floor plan made staying here such a joy. Throughout the day we'd gaze at the lake, admire the sunsets, and then stargaze from the outdoor wrap-around deck. After dark we enjoyed watching so many channels available on the new high-def tv/entertainment system, and were particularly impressed by the excellent WiFi coverage throughout the entire house. Everything here was comfortable, and spotlessly clean. I didn’t want to leave this beautiful home with its incredible views. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Helicopter crew needed housing

We needed a place to say in Spalding CA while we were working at the Spalding airport. Theo house worked well for are needs.

Nice house nothing else overpaid oversold

Hi, The house is nice. We knew that the fishing was not allowed and that the boat rental was not open. We still paid the high rate for this all not being included as I did see the rate is a little bit( very little) higher for "peek season. I talked to the rep who said we could use the next door neighbors boat launch. Well there is no water to even get to. I literally almost had to call 911 to get myself out of what is about 40 feet of quicksand before you can get to the water. I understand Evolve cannot control a draught but there was literally nothing to do at all at the house but just sit there. We rented kayaks and a paddle boat due to what was told to use and the photos that are obviously very old. The internet couldn't even load a an email so we contacted the rep and paid 30.00 for 10 gb only to find out it does not increase the internet speed at all as stated so with nothing to do and no internet we were left with what movies where at the house and just sitting there all weekend. Cannot get my husbands 40th back...so it is what it is..Not what we had planned or paid for at all. A refund or credit towards another rental is needed. Thank you for your time, Kristen Reid

Such beautiful lake views!!!

This property does not disappoint. It's exactly as the photos show. This was our first time to Eagle Lake, so we had a bit to learn about the layout of the lake. The house is very well appointed, clean, and the deck/"cabin"provided hours of relaxation! We brought our own "corn hole" game which fit perfectly on the deck. The lake is shallow at this location but our JetCraft had no problem whatsoever. Overall, this was an awesome visit for us. We really didn't need to contact the property manager as we had everything we needed. Thank you for sharing this property!!

Social distance vacation a success!

My husband And I from CT spent a week e with our daughter, son-in-law and 7 year old grandson (from Sacramento) at this beautiful house on Eagle Lake. We took day trips to Lassen NP and Burney Falls and rented a pontoon boat. Back to nature views. Very serene and relaxing. Watching the nightly bats at dusk every night was incredible fun. There was more than enough room for our entire family. There is no swimming area at or near the property. Kayaks or floating tubes may be helpful. All in all we had a great time.

Great House but Limited Lake Access

We loved the house. Listening to the various lake birds while sitting on the deck was wonderful. Just the right home amenities for the family. Very quiet during the week with very little activity on the lake. As the lake has receded the neighborhood boat ramp didn’t actually get to the water and was overgrown so there was no easy access to launch Kayaks without either walking 100 yards down the beach or driving 15 miles to one of the marinas. This was disappointing as was one of the main reasons for getting a house on the lake. This should be clarified In The listing so Future renters are aware of these challenges.

Such a great place

We had an amazing long weekend here. The view is amazing and the property itself it beautiful. We brought our own kayaks and enjoyed swimming around the tall grasses with the birds. We visited in early June and enjoyed sun, wind, rain, hail and snow in the three days we were here! I especially appreciated that the deck had gates on either end so our youngest couldn't escape. We will definitely visit again!

Beautiful escape

My family rented this home for our Thanksgiving holiday. The home is beautiful and cozy..Decor was appropriate and delightful. Comfortable for 4 to 6 people. Lake view is priceless. Neighborhood is peaceful and quiet..Recommend for complete privacy.

Wonderful Experience at Casa del Lago

Spent 3 nights with 3 other fishermen (brother, uncle and friend) at Casa del Lago. Accommodations exceeded our expectations. Everything was as represented in the listing and photos. The home and furnishings were in excellent condition. Kitchen was very well organized and easy to find things. We highly recommend anyone interested in spending time at Eagle Lake to definitely consider Casa del Lago and create long lasting memories!
