A quieter location on Folly Beach! We stayed for 3 weeks in May and the beach in front of the property was always significantly quieter than the beaches on either side. We booked again for next year before we left. House was in good condition, but was starting to show some wear from the last rehab - nothing that bothered us or impacted our stay. We basically lived on the deck, but be aware it's wood so be careful of splinters and the railings block your view compared to the new wire design. Also being a surfing town, there's lots of thongs. Our dog loved it, but be aware there's no dogs on the beach 10am-6pm after May 1st.

Amazing beach front great for couple or small family from looking at other properties this probably has best and closest view high tide steps away from personal beach access deck. Awesome wouod stay again!

A quick response to a problem was impressive. The rental agency’s employees who dealt with us were very helpful.The location is ideal, off the beaten track but right on the beach. It is wonderful that it is dog friendly. It’s our favorite house on Folly.

Beat up property and not very clean , The kitchen had chipped stained dishes and hardly anything to cook with. Windows were filthy and no cleaning supplies at all. The feeling is that the owners could care less about this property and the management as well. Disappointed again.

Our cleaning and maintenance team has been made aware of everything you've noted, and the good news is that most of these items were already corrected, provided during this vacation. Items such as dishes, kitchen supplies, and cleaning supplies were already provided, and a thorough window cleaning is all already in motion. Our team and the homeowners genuinely want every guest to have a great experience, just as so many have over the years at this property. The Sea Cookie is one of our most popular and in-demand homes on Folly Beach, and with the volume of turnovers it sees, some details occasionally slip through, but that's never acceptable. We hold ourselves, our contractors, and the vendors we pay to ensure the house is in good standing condition. We also want to remind future guests and returning ones alike that our professional staff is located right down the road and happy to assist with any needs during your stay, whether that's supplies, cleaning, or maintenance. You're never on your own. We hope to have the opportunity to host future guests. This home has a lot of fans for good reason, and we intend to keep it that way.

Beautiful and peaceful location

Sitting on the porch watching and listening to the waves was the highlight of the trip. I highly recommend this location. Communication was excellent from booking, check in, to check out.

We loved the proximity to the beach. We loved being able to have our dog with us. The home was very accommodating, we had everything we needed. Loved the view!! Loved the sunrises!!

The back deck is literally over the ocean…fantastic! Great space for my parents, my spouse and me, and our small dog. Clean, comfortable beds, well stocked. Highly recommend.

Great location

We had a wonderful stay here. The property managers did a great job and were very responsive. The views and proximity to the beach was great. This property is also on a dead end street so it tends to be on the quiet side. The screened in porch was a huge bonus plus all the gates to keep your dog on the balcony worked well. The only issue is that in the master bedroom the AC does not work very well. The rest of the house was ice cold but the master bedroom remained warm - especially at night.

Right on the Ocean

We stayed in a recently renovated house that is literally only steps from the ocean. We were able to watch the surfers and beach walkers and their dogs right from the dining table, back porch or deck. It was wonderful to catch the sunrise each day. Wonderful experience.

Overall great place. Has everything you need. Enjoyed the morning stroll on beach with dogs and coffee. Quiet relaxing setting. Close enough to activity and some of the best food. Place appears to been in rental program for awhile. Needs some TLC, mostly minor stuff. Overall would return!

Celebrations

Celebrated my 62 birthday, my oldest son and his wife’s 15 year anniversary and my youngest son and his fiancé wedding. 5 star +, Perfect location and view. Wedding was on the schooner Pride about a 30 minute drive and right beside the Aquarium. City center, market that has everything, and beverage store within a quick 3-5 minute drive. House is clean., beds comfortable and has amazing covered and open deck. Best of all ocean front with literally steps to the waters edge at high tide! Amazing stay and enjoyed by all!!!!

On the water....really!!

We had previously stayed here two years ago. Right on the ocean. That's the best part of the house. The storms of the past two years have changed - eroded the beach significantly. At high tide the water came up to the second step of the walkway to the beach. Not sure how the first row of houses will survive. Anyway we had a lovely time. The bed squeaks just like last time, the kitchen is large, not well supplied. The office gals were wonderful as I had some small issues. All were resolved in short order. All in all a great vacation.

Terrible

Property was unkept, inside the house was dirty, broken glass lamps on the side of the bed. The outside of the property was also unkept with the "lawn"/ weeds had not been cut in weeks and there was a cooking grill in the front of the property as well which made the property look like sanford and son. I would never rent this house or recommend to anyone to rent this house again

The location on Folly Beach is perfect. Not near the hub-bub but close enough. The house is ideally almost right on the beach and the screened-in porch is perfect. However, for the price we paid, we expected more out of the kitchen. The appliances had not been replaced with the upgrade and interestingly enough there is not a garbage disposal in the sink. The oven pans were not acceptable so we didn’t use the oven at all. For a dog friendly house, we were surprised the kitchen trash can was open (no lid), there was no outside hose to easily wash off sandy paws and seawater drenched fur (outside shower doesn’t work well for this purpose but we made do) and one of the deck gate latches didn’t work (we had to shove a table against so it wouldn’t open). Overall the house was ok but again we were disappointed at the upgrades for the price we paid.
