A LITTLE ABOUT THIS CONDO....
A 106 has had a beautiful updated kitchen!! With a fully equipped kitchen. The living room has a large flat screen TV. This condo also has it's own washer & dryer (laundry soap provided)
From the kitchen, living room and patio you will have stunning views of the ocean and the islands of Molokai and Lanai. Enjoy peaceful relaxation at Lokelani as we are a small complex set back off the road. You will be thrilled by the Sea Turtles that come every morning and again at sunset. They will often be feeding very near to the seawall. Come and see what paradise is like in your home away from home. A/C for the bedroom only.

WHERE ARE WE....
We are located between the beautiful Ka’anapali resorts and Kapalua. We are close to shopping, award-winning golf courses, and restaurants, only a few minutes away from the Whalers Village on world famous Ka’anapali Beach, home to the Whale Museum, along with numerous shops, restaurants and art galleries. Everything you need is within walking distance so you could go days without getting in your car.
We are looking forward to you coming and enjoying our beautiful island.

A sunset cruise around the island makes for a perfect romantic evening. If you’re curious about what goes on under the waves, snorkeling tours are a great way to view the incredible variety of life that lives under the surface of the ocean. Helicopter tours are an excellent way to take in views of the whole island, including incredible waterfalls, sea cliffs, and forests you would be hard pressed to view on foot. For those looking for a little more excitement, check out the zip lines at the Haleakala Skyline Tour. There's also Horseback riding tours. Road to Hana, which has 620 curves and 59 bridges, the road leads you through flowing waterfalls, flourishing rainforest, plunging pools and dramatic seascapes. Maui has some of the worlds most famous beaches to check out.

We had several dinners on the lanai watching the sunset & the whales were everywhere. The private small beach was great with turtles coming out of the ocean to sunbathe on the beach pretty close to you. Very good snorkeling and swimming off of beach too.All the outdoor grounds were well kept. We have stayed at Lokelani a few times before & will be back again soon.

The property manager was exceptional!! She helped me out with a couple minor issues. The only thing I would recommened would be a little updating of A-106 and to replace the ceiling fans with higher functioning ones. Thanks for the great memories!

peaceful Escape at the ocean

Reviewer Comments: This great Lokelani condo located on the west side of Maui gave us the most beautiful views of the sunsets and full Moon Over the Water, amazing!!! We took advantage of the one bedroom with optional air conditioning and the pull-out sofa bed . Since it's on ground level it was easy access from the parking lot and the building a is farthest from the stairway to the beach so it was very peaceful. The kitchen could have used a few more tools and equipment for a longer stay if you want to fix your own meals, like there was no cookie sheet or other baking pans, but we still managed to bake a quiche. Overall loved our stay!

Needs Improvement

There’s a lot to say but I’ll just it short. The fridge needs to be replaced. We bought food from Costco and it went bad two days later because the fridge wouldn’t get cold enough.… That was about $40 worth of food that we lost. The shower was not clean when we got there… Not the inside but the outside where the shower door meets the tub part. Also, the carpet was really old and musty/mildew it smelling. My kids who are three and five were there and even they said it smelled weird inside the place. The air-conditioning in the room never really went below 77 degrees no matter what setting I had it on. The furniture is a little outdated, but that doesn’t even matter. the sofabed was really really uncomfortable to sleep on so my husband and kids slept on the bed and I slept on the floor every single night. We were there for seven nights. I must’ve gone to the main office at least four or five times to talk to them, but nobody was ever there. There was a change in the very first day and was actually really nice but then I never saw him again after that. I really wish I had more positive things to say but unfortunately I don’t.

Luckily we could hang at a friends house

The property is nice and the view is amazing. There’s a private beach where turtles rest everyday. Other than that, I wouldn’t recommend this unit. The internet was always out and our phones didn’t work without it. We went more than half of our trip without it, which was stressful because our flights were cancelled and we needed to be in touch with the airline. The apartment is infested with roaches. We couldn’t leave anything on the counter for even a few seconds without roaches crawling all over it. Luckily, our friend was nearby and we just kept all our food at her place. Even if we wanted to cook there, it would have been difficult. They didn’t have very many helpful utensils. They had a random assortment of things they had gathered from fast food and stuff. No baking dishes or anything to use in the oven. They didn’t even have any stirring spoons. Again, we were lucky we had a friends we could cook at. They’re pretty stingy with the supplies as well. They make it very clear that if you run out garbage bags (they gave us 3 for a week) or anything else you were on your own. We ad to buy our own hand soap for the bathroom and tissues. There is a washer and dryer in the unit which is nice because there weren’t very many towels in the kitchen or bathroom. No beach towels, so you’ll need to bring your own. There was air conditioning for an extra charge each day. I felt like they make it so you’ll need to buy the ac because the fans are set on the slowest speed and you can’t make them go faster. Overall, the property is great but I’d pick a different unit.

Check-in and check-out were simple, the info provided was clear and helpful, the on-site manager was great. Our unit felt a little dated, and the fixtures/finishes in the kitchen and bathroom were a bit flimsy-feeling, but it was comfortable, and close to everything on the west coast of the island. Multiple days, sea turtles came up and napped on the condo's little beach! We didn't leave food out, but we still saw a couple of baby roaches running around on the countertops during our stay. Not a big deal, but maybe the pest control in the building could be a touch more stringent. In all, a great, no-frills, but very enjoyable home base for our first Maui vacation!

Great oceanfront location

The building is direct ocean front, great for whale watching. and sunset views! The condo was comfortable and clean, quite old and seriously needs a kitchen renovation, it’s very small and there were quite a few ants in the kitchen, although we have been to Hawaii enough to know there will be some issues with ants and bugs. Regardless, we would stay here again, love the location and everything else was fine with the unit.

Lokelani is wonderful

I have stayed at Lokelani many times and I love the location. This unit was adequate but could use updating. The bathroom was ok clean but could use more scrubbing around the outside of the bathtub.

Happy with our stay.

Lokilani condominiums was a good choice for us. Wonderful ocean view. Large lanai with direct access to the ocean. Our unit was very clean and comfortable. King size bed was great. Kitchen was well equipped.. Check-in and out was easy. 15 minute drive to Lahaina and short walk to ABC store and good takeout. It’s a gem and we hope to return . We really like this uncrowded part of Maui.
