Gran Bahia is a prestigious development just 3 km from the centre of Marbella. Built to highest specification by award winning developer. Within walking distance of the five star Los Monteros Hotel. The Gran Bahia complex is situated opposite the Santa Clara golf course and just past the popular Rio Real golf course. Set in a glorious location with an abundance of exotic flowers shrubs and lemon trees. Five pools one heated all year round, temperature of the pool is 32 degrees with privacy and seclusion uppermost. 24 hour security at its highest with remote control entry underground parking and lifts to apartments. A superb seafood restaurant on the beach, tennis club five minutes away Costa del Sol hospital less than five minutes drive. The Puerto Banus marina is ten minutes for designer shopping.

Perfect for family holiday and golfing

We had such a nice week in this appartement. We liked the personal atmosphere and our kids liked the warm water in the pool, great for november. W-LAN o.k.. The sandy beach is 150 m away. The next golf courses, we prefered Santa Clara (price and area), are five minutes away. Thank you so much.

Incredibly relaxing and peaceful stay

Very comfortable apartment in a great location on the site next to the pool and close to the beach nearby. The whole complex is very secure with beautiful gardens and even in the height of summer it wasn’t too busy or overcrowded. We wanted to stay for another week! The property could do with a little bit of updating, but nothing that was at all detrimental to our stay. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a recharging and convenient holiday in the sun. You do need a car, but there’s lots to explore in the local area. We would definitely return!

We had a great time in this apartment. It looks neat, is well maintained, clean and very quietly located. Beds are good, not saggy. Sufficient towels available, including beach towels. The communication with the owner was also good and we received a quick answer to a question. The swimming pools and the garden are well maintained and clean. There are sunbeds and parasols available. You do need a car. Bahia is located between Marbella center and Elviria. There is a bus stop nearby and taxis are not expensive. Supermarket, was for us, within walking distance. In short, very satisfied.

A Peaceful and Relaxing Holiday, Great Location and Highly Recommended

The whole experience staying here was fantastic, the complex is spacious and the apartment was large enough for 4 adults to be very comfortable. The apartment was clean with everything you would need provided. The introduction and information Nick provided was clear, from collecting the keys down to a recommendation for car hire! The pool area had plenty of space with a choice of 5 pools, you were never overcrowded. Many of the apartments in the complex are privately owned and there is good security, so you felt safe. The location was fantastic with the beach a 5 minute walk and the beach restaurant served some fantastic seafood. Marbella was a 10 minute - 10 Euro taxi ride away where there was an abundance of bars and restaurants and Santa Maria Golf Club and the Marbella Golf and County club are within a 5 minute drive or taxi ride. Summary - Great location, spacious apartment and everything you could need for a relaxing holiday on your doorstep. Would highly recommend this to anyone. Steve & Heather Williams

A very spacious apartment with great access to the pool and beach. Lovely and clean on arrival. Owner talked us through the AC on arrival and was easy to contact. Near a supermarket, beach bar and a few restaurants but would recommend a car. Would happily return. Thanks Nic and Lisa for renting us ur apartment.

Très bon séjour!

Appartement très agréable, grand, propre, beaucoup de rangements et bien équipé. Grande terrasse avec jardin idéal pour les enfants. La piscine chauffée a été un gros avantage (sinon nous n’aurions pas pu nous baigner), et la plage accessible en 5 min à pied :) La communication avec le propriétaire a été parfaite avec beaucoup d’informations avant l’arrivée. Marbella est à 10min en voiture, très facile.Je recommande cette location.

Nos esperábamos otra cosa

Esperábamos una casa limpia y con los enseres apropiados para estar a gusto en la casa, pero no fue así. Ni sabanas ni almohadas limpias, ni utensilios de cocina apropiados, tapicerías muy gastadas. Lo que creo es que le falta un buen mantenimiento a la casa. La urbanización es muy bonita. En concreto creo que el precio es muy alto para lo que recibes.

Muy bien

Estuvimos 2 semanas en el apartamento de Nick y Lisa y todo fue muy bien. Eché de menos que alguien nos recibiera a la llegada y nos enseñara el apartamento y la urbanización (aunque las indicaciones previas de Nick fueron útiles a falta de alguien que nos recibiera). El apartamento es espacioso y estaba bastante limpio. El porche es muy amplio y agradable para comer o cenar con salida directa a los jardines de la urbanización y a una de las piscinas. La urbanización está muy bien, es cerrada y segura; los jardines son muy grandes, muy bonitos y están bien cuidados. Las piscinas, muy bien también. Hay bastante gente en la urbanización (nos alojamos en agosto) pero no está masificada y siempre se encuentra sitio en la piscina. Bastante cerca de la playa (5 minutos andando o menos), que es bastante buena (comparada con otras de la zona) y no está masificada. La única pega fue que el mando del garaje no funcionaba; lo dije en la conserjería y nos dieron otro (aunque unos días después de darme otro que tampoco funcionaba). Las puertas que dan al porche no cierran bien. En resumen, una estancia muy buena y tranquila.

Eine tolle Wohnanlage. Super gepflegt, wunderschöne Pflanzen und Bäume!

Die Wohnung ist in einem abgeschlossenen und bewachten Wohngebiet gelegen. Cirka 5 Minuten bis zu einem schönen Strand, wo sich kleine Imbisse und Restaurants befinden. Die Wohnung, die hochwertig eingerichtet ist, besitzt eine sehr schöne Terasse zum Garten hin. Ein Hinweis zu den Pools, die sich in der Anlage befinden. Entgegen der Information auf der Webseite war im Oktober während unseres Aufenthaltes nur ein kleiner Pool auf 27 und nicht wie angegeben auf 32 Grad beheizt. Der Große gar nicht. Ich würde diese Wohnung wieder buchen.

Love Gran Bahia!

Gran Bahia is a beautiful complex, very well maintained. It's a large complex with a huge number of apartments but this one has an amazing outlook and feels totally secluded. Beautiful beach only a few minutes away with nice chiringuito too. Apartment itself is very spacious, beds and linens all great quality. Kitchen well equipped and a outdoor cupboard full of kids toys and beach paraphernalia was useful! Pools all beautiful and the heated pool a great asset out of peak season! However, due to recent change in regulation which requires a lifeguard present at all times, most pools are currently closed.

Gut gelegene Ferienwohnung in schöner Anlage

Wir kannten die Anlage Gran Bahia bereits und haben sie bewusst gewählt-vor allem auch wegen des beheizten Pools, der für Kleinkinder im eben noch nicht ganz so warmen März top ist. Die Wohnung hat uns eine Woche entspannten Urlaub beschert. Alles da, was man braucht.

Wir haben uns hier richtig wohl gefühlt. Selten sind die Appartment so gut ausgestattet wie dieses. Sehr gemütliche Betten, tolle Küche und sehr schöne und geräumige Terasse. Vor allem die Nähe zum Strand fanden wir Super. Auch die Anlage war sehr schön und ruhig. Wir haben uns gut erholt und kommen gerne wieder zu Nick. Viele liebe Grüße

Vi var 2 par som var der i 11 dager. Vi storkoset oss. Leiligheten var veldig fin og godt utstyrt. Men det hadde vært veldig greit med bil der, var ikke gåavstand til butikk. Vi tok taxi, ( ca 8 euro ) handlet inn for mange dager. Men leiligheten og uteområdet var bare helt nydelig.

Hello and welcome to our home in idyllic Spain! We have holidayed at these apartments for the past ten years so a few years ago we decided to "push the boat out" and buy a ground floor apartment with a private garden as we have two teenage sons and a small toddler.
There is something to do everyday or just relax around the beautiful tropical gardens or relax around the FIVE different clean, quiet pools. One pool is heated throughout the year, we stayed last December 2012 and the climate was so sunny and 65 degrees! Don't forget on a clear day you can see the coast of Morrocco!
We try to holiday every term time with our three sons who love it out there but sadly due to elderly parents we are starting to rent out and let others enjoy our little bit of paradise in the SUN!

Why they chose this property

We have holidayed at Gran Bahia for the last ten years. Good friends of ours bought off plan but sadly we could not afford it. So every summer for two weeks we look forward to our holiday at Gran Bahia.
The beauty of the complex is that it is so near the beach, on the east side of Marbella and the resort is always clean, quiet and so peaceful-truly paradise.
The apartments are first class, very large with 3 bathrooms fitted with granite and beautiful marble floors. It's only a 35 minute drive form Malaga airport and so easy just one road all the way from the airport exit! We love the locals they are so so friendly and the local restaurants are superb. Honestly our apartment has a sea view from our garden-what more could you ask for.

What makes this property unique

The East of Marbella is considered the most exclusive. It's quiet and peaceful but if you want the pace, nightlife and razzamattazz it's only a 10 minute drive to Puerto Banus where life is definitely in the fast lane! The Centre of Marbella is busy too during the high season.
So Gran Bahia is a special paradise away from the rat race where you can relax, unwind and soak up the endless sunshine rays. You will not be disappointed.
