It is close to Luino by Lake Maggiore, in the Italian lakes and mountains in Northern Italy. Dumenza is only a mile from the Swiss border Lake Lugano is only just over the border in Switzerland. It is also close to Lake Lugano and Lake Como is not far away. Lake Garda is further east.

You will find all kinds of beautiful trees and shrubs around the village. You will hear a variety of bird sounds, depending on the time of year. Things to do: As you are so close to Lake Maggiore there are plenty of things to do including walking, mountain biking, boat trips, shopping in Lugano. In the winter you can ski in the Swiss ski resort of San Bernardino, only an hour and a half away by car.

There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance from the accommodation in Dumenza. There are plenty of bars & restaurants in Luino, by the lake. It is about 10 minute by car. There is also a bus service to Luino.

There are many other things to for in the area. Milan is 1 1/2 hours away for a city trip.
