Why Ivan and Linda Stoltzfus chose Big Timber

Big Timber is a friendly town. And we received a warm welcome from the people at Big Timber Evangelical Church. We soon realized that we wanted to become a permanent part of this area. Our plans are to retire in this community.

What makes this house unique

Our personal favorite is the summer time evenings on the screened in porch. The extensive kitchen with two refrigerators, double oven and large island make for comfortable entertaining of families and friends. Add the beauty of the Crazy Mountains and life can hardly get better!

Fantastic property. The amenities may only be surpassed by the view and location.

This home away from home is extremely comfortable and luxurious. The huge kitchen makes for enjoyable meal preparation while visiting with friends and family. The space and amenities make everything feel like home, but the view and property really can't be beat.

Country Elegance served as an excellent home base for a visit to Big Timber for a friend's wedding weekend. Convenient to downtown and accessible to all outdoor activities, the house was spacious, clean, well-appointed and comfortable for 6 adults. Perfect screened-in porch and family room for hanging out. Overall a great property.

Great property. The house was nicely decorated and the kitchen was well stocked. The kids loved playing in the large yard. Plenty of room for a large extended family. Cookies from the owner on arrival was a nice touch.

Awesome Place to Stay near the Beautiful Big Timber area

  • 5 of 5

Awesome vacation rental home close to Big Timber and the beautiful Crazy Mountains. We stayed here immediately after a great backpacking trip to the Crazies. This home was very spacious and had everything we needed. Has a fantastic view of the Crazy Mountains and is in a great location near Big Timber with excellent access to the Yellowstone River. The home was very clean when we arrived. Great communication with the owners prior to, during, and after our stay. The beds were very cozy. Yard and landscaping very well done and maintained. This is a fantastic place to stay if you're planning a trip to the Big Timber, MT area.
