Luxurious lakeside retreat
This place exceeded expectations. Quiet, luxurious, lots of room, helpful facility staff, excellent communication with owner.
Pauls property was a lovely getaway for a few days. The cabin was nicely furnished, with clear instructions on how to use all of the appliances. The cabin is very cosy and had lots of utensils in it. It was wonderfully presented and Paul's communication with me was excellent.
The price of the cabin in comparison to what you get is second to none. There really wasn't anything missing from the cabin and the place felt like home the second we went inside. The location is fantastic as it lies right on the coast of lake windermere and is very close to the village of windermere which is a great place to pop out for a meal or a drink (or both!)

Great family holiday
Lovely accommodation, plenty to do for whole family.
Close to local town and Brockhole - The Lake District Visitor Centre with lovely playground for younger kids and other activities for older kids and adults.
Accommodation was nice and clean with nice decking area and car park next to property.
Perfect accommodation for the family
5 star accommodation right between Ambleside and Windermere. Cabin was spotless clean, with dishwasher and washing machine in perfect working conditions. Parking was available right next to the cabin and the park restaurant is just a 10 minute walk. One small complaint is the wifi, signal strength is very low so be prepared. 100% recommended.
Beautiful and relaxing
Lodge was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed and was a great base for exploring the local area. Hope to stay again!
