Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a terrific property. Super location in downtown Pacific Grove three blocks from the ocean and near restaurants and shops. Super clean and well stocked with everything you need. Close to Monterey Aquarium and Old Monterey and 17 Mile Drive. Pacific Grove is laid back and quiet compared to Carmel and Monterey and usually has plenty of street parking and ocean side parking. No air conditioning but you don’t need it as it’s plenty cool and comfortable using open windows. Some people might need sleep masks as there are not blackout shades and street lights filter through the current shades. These units are relatively new with nice furniture and kitchen. A great month in June.

A lovely small cottage with generous outdoor space and views of the bay. Close enough to be convenient to the things you want to see yet not in the middle of the bustle. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, a bright, comfortable, & cozy cottage.

It was a perfect home away from home. Plenty of space. Has all the amenities you need. Fabulous location across the street from Lovers Point!

Having retreated to Pacific Grove for many year, it was a pleasure staying in the historic Holman Building. The condo has everything you would want during your stay. Everything is a pleasant walk away and the building safe and well kept. Sanctuary Vacation rentals were easy and very responsive to questions and protocol. Will definitely plan our next stay with Sanctuary and hopefully Sweet Thursday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was well equipped and there was plenty of space for our family. The hosts were very helpful and attentive. We also enjoyed the location: close to the busier side of Monterey or the relaxing town and coastline of Pacific Grove.

We had a lovely stay here. The house is clean, comfortable, fully stocked, and in a WONDERFUL location. We look forward to returning!

We stayed at Barbara's cottage for a week and loved it! It was very clean and comfortable and close to all the places we wanted to go. Communication with Barbara was easy and effortless. We would definitely stay again!
