Lovely house with lots of privacy near El Paso. Enjoy the peace and space in this cottage with lots of privacy on a generous plot in a beautiful nature reserve. Pick one of the many types of fruit from your own garden, enjoy the beautiful view from one of the many terraces or climb the own mountain located behind the house! Those looking for ultimate peace, privacy and space should definitely book this house!

The space

The house consists of a kitchen diner with a separate bathroom and two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has a bunk bed with a single bed. The cottage is decorated in the traditional Palmeese style. The furniture mostly consists of wood. There is electric heating for the cold days and air conditioning for the hot days!

Guests can use everything.

Interaction with guests

We are living in the Netherlands ourselves and therefore not always available to help ourselves. We have people who can help in La Palma itself in the absence of us. We are always available by phone or e-mail from the Netherlands.

Not suitable for a winter holiday

The new solar panels and solar water heating did not get enough time in the sun to provide hot water and power/heating for winter. The house was very cold, our breath steamed in the mornings. In the evening the inside temperature was frequently only 12C with the heater on. It was also damp, with water running down the inside of the windows every morning and the interior of cupboards smelled musty. The bed linen and towels are old to the point of being threadbare, the double mattress has a ruck in it and the children’s pillows look unusable. There was a large garden with some interesting plants and great views of the mountains, but it was spoilt by builder’s rubbish being left strewn around. If you are not keen on driving on tiny roads, be aware that the last part of the approach is along very narrow roads with minimal passing places.

Very sorry to read this! As we tried to improve the system by replacing everything the weather wasn't in our advantage and the system did not have enough time before your arrival to be fully charged. The new system is now tested and working 100% For future guests: We replaced the old wood stove for an electrical heater/air conditioning for in the summer. We replaced the previous couches for new ones. And we replaced the old water system for a brand new one with more capacity! The house is therfore now winterproof!

Prima huisje, mooie en heel rustige plek, goede uitvalsbasis voor alle bezienswaardigheden!

Knus huisje, prachtige locatie, centraal gelegen. En vooral: wat een rust! We hoorden alleen de wind en de vogels. Prima contact met en informatie van de verhuurder! Kortom, een aanrader!

Mooie ligging

De woning ligt zeer gunstig als uitgangspunt voor wandelen. Mooi terras met prachtig uitzicht en een leuke tuin. Woning zelf is eenvoudig, maar prima. Bij problemen was de eigenaar goed bereikaar en hulpvaardig.

Alojamiento Rustico en la Palma

La casa no estaba mal, pero se nota que hace tiempo que no están muy pendientes de ella. A la casa le falta mantenimiento y a la finca un repaso, así como la retirada de varios muebles que están estropeados y están en el exterior de la casa. Si no sirven, deberían retirarlos. Por otra parte , en el cuarto de la lavadora hay un montón de trastos tirados sin ningún tipo de orden, lo único que hacen es dificultar el acceso a la lavadora. En cuanto a la vivienda, cabe decir que necesita una mano de pintura y algunos repasos. Por cierto, si se piensa alquilar en invierno cabe decir que la estufa de leña que aparece en el anuncio no está instalada y se encuentra en el exterior de la misma . En cuanto a su situación ,está en el paso, pero un poco retirada y con los caminos de acceso un poco en precario. Apenas se pueden cruzar dos coches y hay zonas en las que no hay asfalto. Cabe mencionar que me quedé dos días sin agua por gentileza del ayuntamiento. Un día me fallo La Luz, pero en este caso , la respuesta y solución de la persona que se encarga de la propiedad fue muy rápida y lo soluciono enseguida. En justicia, me parece que también hay que mencionar las cosas buenas.

Gracias por tu comentario molesto escuchar que su estadía no satisfizo completamente sus necesidades. La casa ha recibido nuevos paneles solares adicionales y de los huéspedes recientes en el invierno ya no recibimos comentarios negativos sobre la electricidad y el agua caliente. Estos problemas han sido resueltos. La estufa de leña se ha eliminado allí, porque era difícil de encontrar con los vientos de otoño que a veces tienen lugar allí. Esta estufa de leña ahora ha sido reemplazada por una unidad eléctrica de aire acondicionado / calefacción que calienta toda la casa. Esperamos que esto responda sus preguntas. Saludos, Rowan

The perfect place

Location: possibly the best of the island. Perfect for reaching quickly any corner of the island. Beautiful sunsets, nice garden where you can pick your own fruit. The furniture needs some minor fixing and minor maintenance, but overall the house had all that you need. The house is eco-friendly: with solar panels for water and electricity it is almost self-sufficient. Overall it has been a lovely experience in a lovely place that we will surely miss.

Quiete assoluta e panorami magnifici

Il posto è bellissimo. Tutto in ordine per la cucina. Forse la biancheria da letto si poteva rinnovare. L'unico vero problema riscontrato era per l'impianto di pannelli solari. A gennaio purtroppo il sole manca e di conseguenza luce,riscaldamento e acqua calda non erano sempre disponibili. Ma l'agente immobiliare ha fatto di tutto per aiutarci!

Het paradijs voor natuur -en rustliefhebbers

De ligging van deze woning is echt adembenemend. Zicht op de Caldera en elke avond een adembenemende zonsondergang. Snachts zie je helder de melkweg. De woning ligt afgezonderd met een mooie privé oprit met gezellig terras omringd met planten, bloemen en fruitbomen. De woning zelf is typisch spaans ingericht, gezellig en rustgevend. Ondanks dat het ietwat klein lijkt, hebben we hier probleemloos met 4 man gelogeerd. Qua prijs en ligging is dit zeker een aanrader. Ideaal voor mensen die natuur, rust en connectie met elkaar zoeken.

beautyfull view very quit

Heerlijk schoon huis met geweldig uitzicht. Eigenaar altijd bereikbaar. Huis ligt super centraal, heeft grote mooie tuin en lekker dakterras. Beschrijving van watersysteem, wasmachine etc zou erg fijn zijn evenals een stofzuiger vooral bij langer verblijf. Keren hier zeker keer naar terug, hebben genoten.
