Due to the characteristics and protocols adopted, Mas Can Calet is a place that offers a series of advantages for accommodation compared to other establishments:

1. Establishment without overcrowding: we only have 2 totally independent apartments.

2. Totally personalized Check-In process: the process is carried out inside the apartment to be occupied, not at reception.

3. There are no common spaces inside the building, such as the breakfast area or reading rooms.

4. Implementation of a new cleaning and disinfection protocol adapted to the new situation.


Masia Can Calet is a family house located in the centre of the town of LES FRANQUESES DEL VALLÈS (35 kms from Barcelona city center).
At home, you will find peacefulness, comfort and proximity to your work or leisure points of interest in a friendly atmosphere . It is our will to make you feel at home.
We offer an apartment on the ground floor of an ancient farmhouse built in 1840. The apartment has its independent access with a private outdoor PATIO. The property has a total of 2,000 sqm including private parking, organic garden and outdoor garden.
Its excellent location allows fast and easy access to the major points of interest: GRANOLLERS and LES FRANQUESES Industrial Parks, BARCELONA CITY CENTER (30 minutes train), speed circuit of CATALUNYA (8 kms), LA ROCA VILLAGE OUTLET SHOPPING (8 kms), Mataró BEACH (20 kms) or various GOLF courses (10 minutes). There are 2 train stations close to the house (10 minutes walking). The distance to Barcelona center is 30 minutes. One of the lines has direct connection to the airport.

Loved the accommodation and Daniel was so helpful with finding places to eat locally and with figuring out the train into Barcelona. The accommodation was comfortable, attractive, super clean and we really enjoyed the beautiful yard and patio.

Masia Can Chalet

The property is very nice - well maintained, clean and with inviting outdoor space. The stone structure retains it's old charm but has been renovated to make it comfortable with modern amenities. Daniel was very friendly and helpful with train schedules, restaurants, and general information to navigate the area.

Beautiful Property

Our stay at the Corner Stone was great. The living space is spacious and very clean. The bathrooms are big and the shower was hot with excellent water pressure. Our host Daniel was gracious, friendly, and very informative. I highly recommend staying at the Corner Stone in Barcelona.

Stone House

Our host was on site and very accommodating. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Daniel, the host, made sure taxi service was available and was informative about eateries and stores nearby. Comfy beds, and so quiet we slept very well.

Best stay ever

Daniel is an amazing host! He was extremely helpful and would answer right away. The place is beautiful, and comfortable. It’s a cute cottage but also spacious. The kitchen has everything you need as well as the bathrooms. The place was very homey, and this is where I will return if I come Barcelona again. Metro and restaurants are within a walking distance.

An amazing property with space to move

We loved our short stay at this property. It was unique, comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed including space to park our car. A short walk to shops and trains to get to Barcelona. Daniel was very helpful with information on what was available in the area. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer.

Quaint restored 200 year old farmhouse

Overall a great experience, clean, charming, loved the exposed stone/brick. Easy access to train to Barcelona. Walking distances to quaint shops and restaurants. Host was friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. Recommendations were welcomed and a hit. We would definitely stay there again!

Hidden Gem in the city

Unique property that is quiet and private but within the city. Very clean and well stocked. We had everything we needed. Daniel was very helpful restaurant suggestions and transportation into the centre of Barcelona.

Oasis of well being

In this wonderful holiday flat, which is a little oasis in a small town outside Bacelona, you can enjoy the evenings after a busy day in Barcelona, for example. The host has valuable tips for nice activities in the area. The flat is very well equipped, well-kept and offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We felt very comfortable.

Absolutely Stunning Property

Mad Can Calet is beyond your dreams or imagination. Absolutely stunning property. Daniel the host was fabulous to work with. This unit is huge and absolutely charming in all regards. The only slight downfall is that despite the train schedule, with the short walk etc, the reality was getting to town was closer to an hour but certainly not a deal breaker.

Gorgeous Old Stone House

Our three day stay at this beautiful old stone house was delightful. The property was well maintained inside and out. The beds were very confortable and we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Daniel, the owner was welcoming and very helpful. He gave us suggestions for day trips and told us about the local market in town. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you Daniel.

Excellent Stay

Daniel was an excellent host and provided us with a very comfortable stay. His property is beautifully restored and very modern. We appreciated his information in regard to trains, local supermarkets, where to eat, etc., as well as the nice bottle of red wine he provided. After having been in Barcelona amongst huge crowds, we really enjoyed the tranquility of the village (20,000 people). Getting to the airport by train was an easy 1-hour trip, and into the city of Barcelona only 30 minutes. Would definitely stay again in future.

Outstanding property

The apartment is in a beautifully restored stone barn, well-done and with all the amenities. Daniel, our host, was extremely helpful and spent a lot of time orienting us to the area. The location is excellent. We used it as a base for short train rides into Barcelona as well as a day trip by car to Figueres and Cadaqués. You have the best of access to the city along with the tranquility of a small town atmosphere. We highly recommend the experience! Thank you, Daniel!!!

Great stay at a beautiful property!

Daniel is a great and very helpful host. He will help you in ways above and beyond what you may expect. The neighborhood is very convenient if you want to go to Barcelona and the surrounding areas without the downsides of being directly in the center of the city. The property is even more beautiful than the pictures and the apartment has everything you need to have a home away from home. The showers are a major upside if you have experienced low water pressure elsewhere in Spain. I highly recommend Mas Can Calet!

Family gathering.

Our small family gathering was enhanced by the sheer pleasure of being around this beautiful property. Surrounded by well tended gardens, the apartment is ample, comfortable, clean, well equipped. OMG Perfect!

What can I say… Daniel was as amazing as his property! Our room was everything perfect… We could not have asked for a better venue and the historical significance was so amazing. The manner in which the rooms were restored/designed made our stay so relaxing that we enjoyed the property as much as we did touring the area. :-)And what can I say about our host… He is the best host we have ever had. He educated us about the area and how to maneuver from one location to the next. He was always just a text away and provided answers that left no “stone” ( no pun intended;) unturned. Do yourself a favor and stay here. You will not regret it.

Amazing property!

We stayed in this lovely apartment for two nights with our daughter who had just graduated college. The owner Daniel greeted us and was extremely helpful with navigating the city, from grocery store, to a place for dinner all walkable. It is a reasonable walk from the train, 30-40 min into the heart of Barcelona. Dinner at an old authentic restaurant was fantastic can not remember the name currently and have just returned to states after 2 weeks but it was recommended by Daniel and it did not disappoint. This was our first visit to Europe and we did just fine navigating the train and subways from this location. Just wanted to be upfront about it not being in the heart of Barcelona. It was a lovely retreat when we returned back from our adventures. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.

A slice of country - In the city!

This was the perfect home for our family of four on a trip to Barcelona. The house itself is an amazing restored farmhouse completed recently and with painstaking attention to detail. It is an open floor plan with high ceilings and a feeling of home. the two bedrooms and two separate bathrooms were spacious and well appointed. The living room is comfortable with a large television and the kitchen equipped with the basics we needed. We also enjoyed the courtyard (former horse stable) for our morning coffee and a place to sit and enjoy the short thunder storm. The house is a large fenced "compound" in the heart of a safe and cheerful residential neighborhood and when we arrived, the whole family said "wow!". The location was also well-situated for exploring being close to two train stations with easy non-transfer service right into downtown Barcelona. The local area has all of the amenities and we had one of our best meals during our month in Spain right down the road at Fonda Europa (thanks for the recommendation Daniel!). Daniel was a great host making our arrival easy and giving us the information we needed to get pointed in the right direction for our exploration of Barcelona and the surrounding area. We will definitely be back!

wunderschönes Landhaus vor den Toren Barcelonas

wir haben uns in dem sehr sauberen und toll renovierten Gutshaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Daniel hat uns mit sehr guten Tips versorgt. Die Lage vor den Toren Barcelonas ist perfekt. Mit dem Zug ist es eine halbe Stunde bis ins Zentrum
