Spent almost one week in this flat in central London with our two teen girls. The bedrooms were spacious and equipped with hangers in the closets and dresser drawers to make ourselves at home. The kitchen has everything we needed to make coffee, keep leftovers, and cook frozen pizza - we ate out a lot. There is a Sainsbury grocery store about a five minute walk from the building, and we found everything we needed there. It’s about an 8 minute walk to Shadwell (the nearest train station) & there is a bike rental place there too - another great way to get around, but we took the train pretty much wherever we went all week, easy to use with the Citymapper app. We came in and left out of Tower station (about a 15 minute walk on flat land), because that one is closest to the little shop where you pickup and drop off the key. We were able to get everywhere we needed to be very easily. We rented a car one day to drive out to Highclere castle - about an hours away. We rode the train to Heathrow (West side of London) and rented a car there because we didn’t want to drive through London and I’m so glad. The building was quiet the whole time we were there - we only ever saw a couple of other people coming in and out. Both of my kids’ bags broke on the way there so I ordered them new bags. It’s not advisable to have things delivered to the apartment but we used the TK Maxx click to store and picked up what we needed. Our host was quick to respond, thanks so much Ian!!
