A charming casita with a lovely pool in a rural setting

We enjoyed our 11 day stay at this charming casita. The location is excellent - only 45 minutes from Malaga. We took day trips to Cordoba, Gibraltar, Arcos de la Frontera, Malaga and Nerja - Seville and the El Camino del Ray are also quite conveniently close by. Don't miss visiting the beautiful El Torcal mountain range. Even if you are not a hiker the drive up the mountain affords splendid views of the Mediterranean and is only 20 minutes away. You can see it from the courtyard of the casita. Harry was an attentive and caring host. He checked in with us frequently to make sure that we had everything that we needed. He provided us with recommendations and maps for local hikes. The pool is beautiful - large and private. The casita is well proportioned and could host two couples easily as there are 2 separate bedrooms - each with an ensuite. There is off street parking - and a car is definitely needed. The area is rural and tranquil. A lovely getaway. Thank you Harry and Ingrid!

Zomervakantie Juli 2022

Een oase van rust en prachtige verzichten met een fantastisch mooi zwembad. Centraal gelegen, goed om uitstappen te doen naar Malaga, Cordoba, Granada, ... Ingrid en Harry, die op het domein wonen, hebben een groot respect voor privacy maar als je iets nodig hebt kan je hen alles vragen ook ivm uitstappen. Ze zijn een fantastische gastvrouw en gastheer die er alles aan doen om van uw vakantie een succes te maken ! Wij komen zeker nog eens terug. Hartelijk dank.

Una gran opción para conocer la provincia de Málaga.

Una casa, un poco perdida, a mitad de camino entre Málaga capital y Antequera a apenas 10 km de la autovía. Una enorme piscina de uso privado y una casa algo pequeña con dos habitaciones con aire acondicionado, dos baños y una cocina bastante caliente. El porche exterior con grandes vistas rurales, aunque en verano solo se puede utilizar de noche por el calor. La lavandería es un cuarto fuera de la casa que hay que acceder dando rodeo. Los dueños de la casa viven en la casa principal del complejo y lo que alquilan es una especie de añadido y ceden los espacios comunes para el uso privado de los visitantes. El aparcamiento con sombra es al otro lado de la calle y la parcela está llena de gatos. La ubicación es ideal para conocer la provincia de Málaga pero hay que estar todos los días moviéndose con coche, no hay nada cerca a lo que ir andando. Mi familia y yo hemos pasado 10 días estupendos en esta casa en pleno agosto.

Séjour inoubliable

Nous avons passé à la casita 13 jours inoubliables. L'accueil par nos hôtes etait chaleureux.Très bien située, la casita reste proche des grandes villes alentours tout en étant au coeur de la nature. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la vue magnifique. Sans compter une grande piscine où nous avons pu nous amuser en famille en toute intimité. Bref, un séjour parfait pour nous et nos deux enfants.

Lugar tranquilo y acogedor

Mi familia y yo hemos disfrutado de unas vacaciones formidables en esta casa rural sencilla. Los anfitriones -Ingrid y Harry- son muy amables y se han ofrecido a prestarnos sus consejos sobre la zona y a solucionar cualquier imprevisto. El sitio es tranquilo, ideal para desconectar, con una piscina formidable donde nos hemos refrescado en los días más calurosos... y, al mismo tiempo, está muy bien situado para llegar, en media hora, a la ciudad de Málaga o el Torcal de Antequera, y, en una hora, al Caminito del Rey, todas ellas excursiones muy recomendables. Confiamos en volver algún día a Almogía para disfrutar -una vez más- de la tranquilidad y el bello paisaje que rodea esta casa

Apartment with good facilities

On the first photo, the guest apartment is on the left (the first window is a bathroom with the shower, the second reachable with a door on ower terrace is a room with the washing machine, the third is the bedroom with the stair, the fourth is the other bathroom with the bathtub). On the 10th photo, there is the guest terrace in front of the apartment (on the other side on the first photo). The good points are : the swimming pool is large, the owners are friendly and helpful (they nicely add an extra fridge to enlarge the small one already in the kitchen), the wifi is good. The less good point are : the apartment is far in the countryside (the road in the last kilometers is tortuous but tarred until the gate of the property), probably because of the goats on the other side of the road from the terrace there are a lot of flies (despite of the fly rolls hanged at the ceilings in the different rooms), the are many noisy dogs around (at any time when one woof another answer and again and again).

We have never been so lazy! Post GCSE stress all gone and thanks to a lovely stay in wonderful surroundings, big gently heated pool to dip and cool in and thoughtful and helpful hosts.

Een uitstekend vakantieverblijf

Prima gelegen, in een prachtige omgeving, mooi, net en goed ingericht vakantiehuis met alles er op en er aan met een fantastisch ( groot) zwembad. Eigenaren zijn erg aardige mensen.

Sehr ruhige Finca - Mitten auf dem Land

Die Finca liegt absolut ruhig inmitten der Berge. Der Pool ist groß und Paco, der spanische Service-Mann, ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ingrid war immer erreichbar und hat bei Fragen schnell reagiert und geholfen. Wer einen ruhigen Urlaub in ländlicher Atmosphäre mag, ist hier gut aufgehoben.
