 Una hermosa y soleada terraza (más de 35 sq. - ft2 376.): es el mejor lugar para relajarse después de un día completo de visitar todas las bellezas de Florencia.
La sensación es estar en casa y no en una residencia u hotel.
El apartamento está en el primer piso (sin ascensor, 19 sencillos pasos) de una casa del siglo XIX, frente a un antiguo claustro (siglo XIII) con jardín, ahora Biblioteca Oblata y Centro cultural.
Su ubicación está en el corazón de Florencia, a 100 metros del Duomo, a poca distancia de muchos restaurantes, museos, monumentos, teatros y las famosas zonas comerciales de moda.
Es adecuado para dos parejas o una familia.
La disposición interna de las habitaciones permite la mejor privacidad al compartir el apartamento.

Turn left out the door and the Duomo is a very easy walk. Turn right and just down the quiet street are great restaurants. Across the street is an old convent now a school with a hidden-away restaurant which is quite good. Really, 5 stars do not do the apartment justice and most certainly are not enough for the service and hospitality of hostess Laura.

Apt by the duomo

We had a great time here. Laura was an excellent host. Very helpful. The apt was nice and close to all attractions, walking distance. The patio was very pleasant for drinks at night or coffee in the morning. It did get a bit noisy at night with nightlife folk yelling on the streets, hence the 4 stars.

Well maintained apartment in a great location

We stayed in this location for five nights, and really enjoyed our time. The apartment was well taken care of, clean, and in full working order. It has a tranquil and peaceful terrace off the back that is great for just hanging out for a break from the city itself. The host was more than generous with their time upon check-in. She took the time to show us local restaurants that she enjoyed and a local market that she recommended if we wanted to get anything for our stay. The location itself is incredible. Every time you walk in/out the door, you can see the Duomo, and all of the areas of central Florence are within easy walking distance.

Really nice stay in great location

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment is right in the heart of Florence. Apartment was well equipped and clean. Front bedroom can get a bit noisy on weekends as closer to the street. Check was easy and owner was pleasant and checked on us if we needed anything. Overall great find.

You will never want to leave....

This apartment is fabulous. Step 1 - First impressions. The location is perfect. Cobbled streets, surrounded by historical buildings, with main attractions within walking distance. So many restaurants and shops to keep you occupied. Step 2 - The minute you open the front door, the wow factor hits you. Very spacious, beautifully decorated and has all your holiday requirements. The courtyard area is delightful. A perfect place to sit with friends enjoying a glass of wine, and listen to the church bells. Laura, the owner, takes time to meet you to ensure you have everything you need. We stayed one week, next time we will stay longer.

Well equipped and ideally located

We spent a very enjoyable week at this delightful apartment, which is well equipped and ideally located. The air conditioning in the bedrooms and living room are effective and quiet.and the terrace includes plenty of optional shade from a parasol and electrically operated awning - a real boon in hot weather. The Duomo is 200 metres away and the Uffizzi and Accademia galleries, Santa Maria Novella, the Medici chapels and Santa Croce are within a kilometre. There are supermarkets and a wide range of restaurants with excellent food in easy walking distance. We can strongly recommend the apartment.

Great location, great host, great home. Everything was perfect. The home was clean, had great conveniences and the location couldn't be beat. Our host was amazing. Suggestions for local places to visit were amazing and even made a taxi reservation for us for an early flight.

Wonderful!

My son and I stayed at this property and could not have been happier! The charming owner, Laura, was incredibly kind and even tried to find crutches for my son, who was injured. The apartment was roomy and lovely. It had everything we needed. It was extremely well located in the center of Florence, but it was not noisy because it was on a fairly quiet street, near a library. What was also wonderful was the pleasant terrace. I can't recommend this apartment highly enough!

The location is outstanding. Everything is walking distance. The apartment is spacious with a wonderful balcony. The hosts are amazing. They gave very useful travel tips. Coming and going. We had trouble securing a taxi big enough for our luggage so my wife and son went in a taxi and Laura’s husband gave us a ride to the train station. We would stay there again for sure. If this apartment is an available, book it now.

you can expect a five star property

The apartment in Florence was even better than the photographs. Laura met us there when we arrived and walked us through how everything worked. She even accompanied us to the supermarket with a shopping cart which is just a block away. The apartment is spacious and spotless. There are ample linens and bath towels. The beds are comfortable, and sheets are crisp and soft. Bathrooms are perfectly adequate. The kitchen is very well supplied with lots of pots, pans, utensils etc. And of course the terrace is as lovely as pictured. Sunny from noon till 5:00. Colorful flowers and the chirpings of birds makes it an idyll when you return after a hard day of sight seeing. The location couldn't be better. As soon as you come up the street, the duomo looms. Perfect landmark from anywhere in the city. And yet, it is a quiet street opposite a well manicured park and library. MY husband fell and needed medical attention. Laura came to access the situation and even made an appointment for him to have an X-Ray the following morning. She is an attentive host who is there if you need her. We will definitely come back here when we return to Florence.

Fabulous Week in Florence for a Family of Four

We cannot say enough positive things about our stay at this apartment in Florence. From the reservation process, the check in, the actual stay and the check out. Laura and her husband met us at the apartment when we arrived and allowed for us to check in early. They greeted us with a bottle of wine and a giant chocolate Easter egg. They proceeded to go through instructions for all of the appliances, etc. All of the basic necessities were supplied; bottled water, coffee, detergent, dish soap, paper products, etc. The terrace is easily assessable and stunning. There is a lift available which we used to take our luggage up and down, as well as groceries. The owners even provide a foldable grocery cart on wheels which came in very handy. The location was central and convenient to everything in the heart of Florence. We were able to walk everywhere and the location allowed for us to stop back into the apartment during the day if we wanted to drop things off or have a respite. We look forward to booking this apartment again in the future. Laura made sure that we had her number and communicated with us during the week. She arranged for a taxi to pick us up to go to the airport. Thank you Laura and Gabriele!

Perfection in every way!!

Beautiful Place and Great Location

The apartment was beautiful and had a great centralized location. It was a wonderful view, it had everything we needed, and Laura and Gabriel were excellent hosts. They were easily available for anything we needed, they had excellent recommendations for restaurants and things to do around the city, and they made us feel very welcomed. WONDERFUL!

Our family had such an amazing stay at this beautiful apartment. Just as all the reviews say, Laura is the best and warmest host. She greeted our family, took us to an amazing restaurant for our first dinner, and genuinely cared and looked after us during our stay. The apartment is so spacious, clean, amazing location, and has all the amenities you would ever want. We can't wait to go back to Florence and to also see Laura again :)

Excellent apartment in unbeatable location

Walk out the front door, turn left and within 100 yards you are at the Duomo and other must see sites, as well as great restaurants, trattorias, gelato shops, and all that Old Florence has to offer. The apartment is well appointed, very clean, and all rooms have A/C. Laura is a wonderful host and gave us some excellent recommendations for restaurants and places to pick up groceries and wine, etc. we had a great ten days and would come back and do it again in a heartbeat! Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the outdoor patio/terrace - a great place to enjoy morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.

HEAVEN'S PATIO

Necessary supplies are provided. The location is magnificent as it is a short walk to the Duomo. There are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and a great small supermarket named Conad's a short walk away. The best part of the stay was the apartment had a lovely patio on which we had meals and shared adult beverages. The only drawback to the location was a scarcity of taxicabs. Our numerous calls to different drivers went unanswered and the APPS were unreliable at best in our experience over a 10 day period of time. Laura went out of her way to call on our behalf. Without her intervention, we were out of luck. We befriended a few locals at nearby shops who told us the taxicab people do not answer the phone if the origin number is not local.

The location allowes you to visit Florence without any difficulties, enjoing to be near to all you "must" see in town!
The apartment lets you feel like to be at home: paintings on the wall are belonging to the family and some made by my husband's father.
So an important part of us, of our feeling and way to live is reflected in Oriuolo apartment.

The terrace it is really a PLUS: it offers you a quiete place where you will relax enjoing the sun and that special feeling that only in some hidden corner of Florence you can still find: for me listen to the birdsong and the bells of the Duomo having a nice cup of coffee!
Besides the new small LIFT( not suitable for wheellchair) is an important innovation in an historic building in the full center of the city.
The location wich is unique near to the Duomo, museums, shopping area. etc.
