Cretan Vineyard Hill Villa | private pool, panoramic view, beautiful vineyard

The villa is located right in the center of Crete and it is surrounded by a twenty acres organic vineyard. It combines sea view, mountain view and panoramic view of the town of Heraklion. It is in the perfect spot for those who wish to explore the island and visit beautiful beaches, traditional villages or our large cities and many other points of interest. It is suitable for couples, children and large groups.

We have equipped the villa with amenities that will meet the needs of even demanding guests. The villa includes two fully equipped kitchens with all electric appliances, two fully furnished living rooms and dining areas. It also includes five bedrooms and four bathrooms, a Jacuzzi bathtub and a fireplace. There is also high speed WiFi internet in the whole area of the villa and other amenities that will make your stay pleasant. In the pool area you can enjoy the magnificent view and have moments of relaxation. Next to the pool there is the BBQ area with a wood oven and a grill and everything you will need to prepare your meal.

It’s also worthwhile to point out that our guests can watch or participate in the vine harvest if they happen to be in the villa at the time of the event.

Amazing stay at Vineyard hill villa

Kostas and his family were so friendly and accommodating, they made our stay extra special and we couldn't have asked for a better service. The Villa was beautiful and had everything we needed to the highest standard, we had such a lovely time.

A truly fabulous villa, with an amazing hosting family. Kostas is super helpful and prompt with all the logistics and arrangements, then at the property his sister Maria is so very friendly, welcoming and generous. The family cooked us dinner one evening, which was delicious! The setting of the villa is amazing, in the heart of a vineyard with stunning views in all directions. The villa itself is high quality, spacious and very well presented.There is a nearby village, only 800 metres away, to provide all the basics (groceries, bakery, bar), or it is an easy taxi to any location on Crete. Thank you Kostas, Maria and Family, we can't wait to come back.

Best vacation ever

Kostas the owner and his mom provided the best hospitality we have ever had. We needed a taxi to go to Samaria Gorge in the early morning and late evening and Kostas took care of everything. House has everything and wonderful pool and gorgeous inside. Highly recommend this villa for large family gatherings or group of friends.

Magnificent holiday!

The villa is in immaculate condition, has everything you could wish for (comfy beds, great air con, a kitchen with everything you could possibly need) and Kostas and his family were fantastic hosts - nothing was too much trouble for them and the welcome pack they gave us with fruit, water, wine and raki was just brilliant! I can't speak highly enough of them all!

Our stay at the villa was nothing short of amazing

Very comfortable for large families. Clean and comfortable for all. The property is located on a winery overlooking the city with ocean views. Quick drive to everything in town and the ocean. Toward the end of our stay, they cooked us a phenomenal meal. For anyone looking to find a place to stay Kostis and his family provide a home away from home. Thank you again for everything!

Amazing!

We have stayed at a lot of properties. This was by far the best. Our host family was so welcoming and there were so many welcoming touches I can’t name them all. And I wouldn’t want to spoil anyone's furure surprise. The home is beautiful and the kitchen is better equipped than mine! You will love it here.

Heaven in the vineyard

The house is fantastic. Beautifully designed and appointed with everything you could need for your stay. But the deeper beauty is Kostos and his parents. Wine from their vineyards, honey, dried figs, fresh eggs, three kinds of house made raki and a home baked orange cake greeted us upon arrival. And we were sent on our travels with more of the same. Just a causal mention of hiring a chef led to Kostos mom making us a delicious authentic Cretan meal served to us pool side. The generosity and hospitality of these hosts was the highlight of our trip. And did I mention the surroundings are gorgeous! We go to come back, for sure.

A beautiful memory of Crete

Kostas, (property manager) was fabulous in meeting any of our requests. He gave wonderful restaurant recommendations for some of the most fabulous Grecian food our family has ever had. The villa was very clean, as well as the surrounding grounds and pool. They greeted us with wine and fruit and for us to enjoy local cuisine experience, they cooked an evening meal for all of us (9) that was wonderful. Even though the villa was not waterfront, we enjoyed traveling the island of Crete stopping at the various beaches - each offering special experiences. We would close each day at the villa poolside which was very peaceful with a soft warm wind blowing to cool us. This villa is not misrepresented in the VRBO listing and created a very special memory for all of us! I cannot Thank the host and family enough for their care and management of the property!

Amazing location and property with truly Premier hosts!

We regularly rate but seldom leave reviews. On this occasion we feel obligated. Having rented multiple villa's all over the world I can only relay that this is the best rental stay my family has ever enjoyed. That the villa is wonderfully equipped, well designed, and caters for just about everything somehow pales against the welcome, service and dedication Kostas and his family shower upon their guests for the duration of their stay. Initially welcomed to the property with a radiant smile and a (delicious) home baked cake, we were shown an abundance of fresh provisions, great wine, awesome raki - all produced on the vineyard for us to enjoy at leisure, with an invite to ask for more as we needed. Oh, and of course, just help yourself to pomegranates and citrus growing outside the villa. The meal Kostas' mother prepared for us was fresh and delicious (and plentiful!). Kostas is a local and is honest with his recommendations when you ask. Very knowledgeable about where to visit, what to eat, where to eat, etc. He gave us great ideas where to go and most importantly, when to go. Having travelled all over the world for 30 years, for the first time ever we are returning to the same place next year!

A little bit of paradise!!!

OMG! How do I begin to describe paradise? This villa is an absolute gem. It is spacious and immaculately clean with so many amenities that make this truly a home away from home. The most outstanding part of our stay was the amazing hospitality of our hosts. They welcomed us as family not just guests. When we arrived, Kostas and his family had provided us with fresh fruit...apricots, lemons and nectarines from their fruit trees, bottles of wine from their vineyard and an amazing homemade orange cake. We arrived late and did not have time to stop at the market for some food essentials, so we were thrilled when we opened the refrigerator to find fresh eggs, milk for coffee and more fresh fruit. They even left us some of their homemade Raki...Yum! The final "Piece de Resistance" was the homemade Cretan dinner provided by Kostas's mom...outstanding! Thank you to Kostas and his family for an amazing week. Everything exceeded our expectations. P.S. To Kostas's dad...a special thank you for the olive oil. Very much appreciated. To Kostas's mom...a special thank you for the cake and dinner...truly amazing. We'll be back!!

Traumhafte Villa auf Kreta

Wir waren in der Zeit vom 31.08. - 10.09.2024 Gäste in dieser wundervollen Villa. Es war traumhaft und im Rückblick ein absoluter Glücksgriff. Angefangen mit dem sehr persönlichen Empfang und Einweisung. Für uns wurde schon vorgesorgt, es gab Obst, Wein, einen selbst gebackener Kuchen, frische Eier und Wasser im Kühlschrank. Die Bilder der Villa sprechen ebenfalls für sich, die Innenausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Fragen oder Tipps zur Umgebung waren immer kurzfristig beantwortet. Wir waren begeistert und geraten immer noch ins Schwärmen. Kein einziger Kritikpunkt, absolut empfehlenswert. !!!

Probabaly one of the nicest villas we have stayed in. Very clean,comfortable and beautifully maintained. However the thing that really makes a stay at this villa so special is the wonderful hospitality shown by Kostas and his family. From the start of the booking process Kostas was very to easy to deal with and was never more than a text away during our stay. On our arrival we were not only greeted with wine from the vineyard but home pressed olive oil, raki of varoius types, home made cake, fruits from the surrounding trees and during our stay Kostas mother cooked us the most wonderful Cretan meal. Nothing was ever any bother. A big thank you to Kostas and family for making our stay so special and memorable.

Great House , spectacular views and unbelievable service

Kostas was our host and he was wonderful . He helped us out with all our request . Meet us at the airport and his wonderful family cooked us a unbelievably great meal . We felt like we were home . The house itself was amazing with all the amenities you can think of. They had gifts for us when we checked in that were amazing . If you want the complete package I suggest you stay here when you are in Crete . This place, people and service was a 10 !!!

Cretan Hospitality at its best!

Staying at Cretan Hills Vineyard was such a relaxing pleasure. Kostas, our host, along with his mother and father, took the very best care of us. We arrived to wonderful gifts of their own wine, Raki, grapes, and more - so welcomed after day of traveling. The accommodations were top notch including a delightful pool with a view. Kostas’ mother also prepared a delicious traditional Greek meal during our stay. In addition to this attentive care, Kostas supplied us with many good tourist tips and dining recommendations when visiting in the Heraklion area. Heartily recommend this VRBO rental

Greek Hospitality at its best!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was a convenient location to visit Heraklion center and several historic sites. It was also an easy drive for a day trip to Chania. At the end of each day, we enjoyed getting away from the crowds to this private, comfortable, and well-furnished villa. Our hosts were welcoming, and surprised us by stocking the refrigerator and pantry with some basics such as milk, sugar, salt, etc. They went beyond expectations with produce from the vineyard: quince spoon sweets; their own eggs, honey and olive oil; a couple of bottles of wine; and their own raki. Bowls of fresh fruit, plus trees from which we could pick oranges were a delight every morning. The beds were comfortable, with crisp percale sheets (my favorite bed-linen) and they kindly provided bathrobes and disposable slippers. We hope to come back sometime when the weather is warmer so that we can enjoy the pool and pick pomegranates or figs instead of oranges.

One of the best villas I have ever stayed in

This is a truly extraordinary villa. The building itself, a new, architect designed home, is just beautiful with elegant and artful touches throughout. Each bedroom has a balcony or terrace to enjoy the view. And the view is fabulous—the sea, the mountains, and the surrounding vineyards. What sets Cretan Vineyards Villa above all the others is the generosity of the hosts. They gave us bottles of wine and raki from the surrounding vineyards, and prepared 2 delicious dinners for us. This is the model to which all villas should aspire.

Book This Place, you won’t find a better house on Crete!

This is a wonderful house in a beautiful location, everything that you could want is there. The hosts have thought of everything you might need to make this place feel like a Home and then they went above that and supplied water, milk, eggs (from their chickens), homemade cake, wine, honey, olive oil, and an traditional home-cooked meal! There is not one negative that we can come up with and we are very picky. The pictures do not do this home justice, it’s a great place to be your home base for exploring the region or you can spend the entire day there relaxing and enjoying the many amenities this home has to offer. It was just two of us but if we had our teenage kids they would have loved it, as well. There’s a pool table, ping pong table and plenty of separate space for numerous couples or for kids to have their own space.
