The moment we arrived, the beautiful rose garden caught our eyes. Our kids loved playing on the lawn while we lounged by the pool in the afternoons. We made great memories with evening BBQs on the terrace under the lime tree. Everything felt just right from start to finish, making it hard to leave.

Spotlessly clean, a very warm welcome, perfect position within walking distance of the village and a short drive of many historic sites of great interest. We should have booked for longer!

June under the linden tree

Just as described, peaceful, accessible, restful. Plenty to see and do in the area, especially for paleolithic interests. We had great fun listening to the birds in the nearby woods. Especially, our hosts were as helpful and friendly as it is possiblevto be.

This is a nice Gite in a wonderful location only a short walk from st Leon sur vezere . The property is well maintained and has everything you need however we found it lacked privacy as it is open to the road on one side and directly onto the owners property on the other.

Nice Place

Traditional Gîte offering all amenities ( dishwasher, laundry machine, microwave, wiFi, TV, Shower, bathtub etc, nice swimming pool). We had Ratsherr cold weather, and we would have appreciated some possibilty to heat the main room. The Hosts are very friendly

Nice and clean villa and well equipped. Location is as described. Only issues are that the pool is shared and guest hours are 10am - 7pm which is not mentioned in the description. In addition, there is no aircon or fans for the bedrooms and it can get very hot. However, owners are very welcoming and on site if any help is required.

Het huis is echt heel dicht aan de straatkant, zowel op het terras vooraan als aan het zwembad heb je weinig tot geen privacy, en de auto's passeren op amper 3 m van het terras dat geen beschutting heeft. De woning is donker binnenin en nodigt niet echt uit, dit gaat ten koste van de gezelligheid en is ook niet aan ieder raam een verduistering of gordijn zodat avonds er heel veel inkijk is, zowel vanop de straatkant als vanuit de woning van de eigenaars die zicht vlak naast deze woning wonen. De eigenaars zijn ook zeer aanwezig en dit geeft het gevoel steeds in het oog te worden gehouden en geeft geen prettig gevoel. De woning is binnenin van alles voorzien maar is wel gedateerd, op het terras zijn er twee parasols voorzien maar deze staan vast in de grond verankerd en bieden wel schaduw maar niet op het terras en zijn geen enkele meerwaarde omdat ze geen beschutting geven. Wij zouden deze woning geen tweemaal huren omdat privacy voor ons belangrijk is en wij ons steeds bekeken voelden, samengevat het is een degelijk verblijf weliswaar wat gedateerd maar als je van privacy houd geen aanrader.

Huis was prima, gastheer erg vervelend. We hebben ons een week lang gecontroleerd gevoeld. Te pas en te onpas kwam hij langs voor ‘iets’. En vervolgens heel probleem maken van een fles zonnnebrand die we bij een ligbedje hadden laten staan voor de volgende dag. Wat ons niet helder was: zwembad sluit om 19 uur (ook als het nog 30 graden Celsius is).

De eigenaars zijn zeer vriendelijke en discrete mensen. Bovendien hebben zij ons enkele goede tips gegeven voor bezoeken in de omgeving. Het huis is heel gerieflijk en zeer goed gelegen: heel rustig en toch vlakbij het centrum van Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère. Dit is echt een zeer mooi en aangenaam dorpje met bovendien enkele goede restaurants. De omgeving is prachtig en er zijn ontelbaar veel mooie dingen te bezoeken. Een aanrader over de ganse lijn !

-->Prachtige, rustige locatie aan een heuvel op 10min loopafstand van het dorpje. Mooi zwembad en een fijn buitenterras waar je lekker kunt zitten. Huisje zelf was enigszins verouderd, maar van alle gemakken (vaatwasser, wasmachine, oven, magnetron, broodrooster, etc.) voorzien. De verouderde staat van het huisje merkten we vooral aan het krakende hout op de bovenverdieping, wat beneden heel goed te horen was. Ook zitten er in een van de kamers en in de keuken houtwormen, die je 's nachts duidelijk kan horen kraken in het hout. Toiletten spoelen ook niet lekker door, maar verder erg tevreden over het huisje en de locatie. --> Carole en Alait (gastheer en -vrouw) zijn ontzettend vriendelijk, meedenkend en gastvrij. Hebben allerlei tips wat betreft activiteiten en restaurants. We voelden ons af en toe wel een beetje in de gaten gehouden, omdat ze de hele dag in de buurt waren (ze wonen er zelf naast/tegenaan). --> Het dorpje, op 10min loopafstand, is erg gezellig. 's Ochtends kun je er brood halen en 's avonds kun je er heerlijk eten. Veel leuke activiteiten in de buurt; kanoën, klimpark, grotten, kastelen, dorpjes, wandelen, etc. --> Kortom: zeker een aanrader qua plek/omgeving/eigenaren/activiteiten, maar niet als je van een luxe ingericht huisje houdt:))

Sejour très agreable

Propriétaires sympathiques et toujours à l'écoute au moindre petit souci. La piscine est un vrai plus.
