Spectacular place to enjoy all Chamonix and beyond

The property is very well maintained. Kitchen has everything and more to cook for family or entertain. If you are in active sports like climbing, hiking, skiing- you cannot find better location. Beds and bedding is very comfortable. The interaction with owner was very efficient. We have numerous requests to help with our gear before our official arrival and host went out of their way to help us and accommodate every need we had. Thank you so much for letting us to stay at your beautiful chalet! We would come back! It is truly heavenly place!

We had the most wonderful holiday!

This was our second visit to Bernadette and Phillipes wonderful chalet and if anything we loved it more the second time. There was plenty of space for our party of seven adults. Great care and careful consideration has been put into the design of the house and as a result to stay there is a real pleasure. The amenities are first class with coffee machines and tea pots aplenty for thirsty travellers and skiers at the end of each day. We unexpectedly arrived before our expected time with the intention of walking into Chamonix but Bernadette very kindly allowed us to enter the property and unload our van after our lengthy journey. The positioning of the chalet is excellent for an easy walk into Chamonix and is close to a ski bus stop allowing access to all the ski areas in the valley. Having ones own transport is helpful but not essential. The most important thing about the house during the week of our stay is that it is beautifully warm. The temperature outside was close to -10C all week but inside the house we were warm and cosy. The lovely feature soapstone fire is a real feature and the warmth from it made evenings in a real pleasure for my large family. I consider it really fortunate to have ‘found’ Bernadette and Phillipes chalet in Chamonix and an even bigger privilege to have been able to stay there again. A huge thank you Bernadette.

Magnifique chalet

Le chalet est magnifique, nous étions 5 adultes et 1 bébé de 16 mois et n'étions absolument pas à l'étroit. A 15 min à pied du centre (en marchant lentement 😉). Très belles dispositions des pièces et tout le nécessaire présent en cusine. Je recommande à 100 %

Dans un quartier calme et très vert, à 10 minutes à pied de la gare et 5 à vélo de la piscine et du rafting, un chalet très cosy, chaleureux, très bien équipé et extrêmement propre. Les propriétaires sont adorables. Nous avons passé 15 jours de rêve !

Excellent séjour à Chamonix !

Merci à Bernadette pour son chaleureux accueil et ses délicates attentions dans ce chalet typique. Idéalement placé, au calme, avec une vue imprenable sur les montagnes (tout en étant à 10mn à pied du centre), ce chalet a une âme familiale qui nous fait sentir comme chez nous immédiatement. Au top !

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour. Le chalet est très spacieux, confortable, et très bien situé. Au calme, avec une vue exceptionnelle, peu importe où vous vous trouvez dans le chalet. L’accès à l’extérieur est très appréciable (terrasse, jardin) à l’abri des regards. Idéal pour les familles. Nous avons pu faire de nombreuses activités dans la vallée, les montagnes offrent un cadre exceptionnel. Merci Bernadette pour l’accueil, nous reviendrons!

Heerlijk huisje en mooie tuin. Week skivakantie met 2 gezinnen, was heerlijk. Goede uitvalsbasis om in meerdere gebieden te skiën. Zeker aan te bevelen.

Familytrip to chamonix

We where 7 persons in the chalet. It is really nice and cosy. We had a very good time. Not directly in the city centre but ok anyway.

A truly stunning chalet, exceptionally well situated for Chamonix and the Valley

I loved Bernadette and Phillipes exceptional property. The view of Mount Blanc alone from the sunny south facing decked terrace is remarkable. Inside the chalet it is warm and inviting with a huge range of facilities to cater for a large group or family. The efficiency of the soapstone feature fire made us all toasty and the effective heating system made it easy to start holiday days early. The garage area was great for the storage of ski equipment. Proximity to the town and the easy 15 minute stroll to the boulangerie ensured the days started with good croissants and pain au chocolat. Cristal and Denis were always unobtrusively available next door if needed and both of them greeted our arrival enthusiastically. If needed, there is a bus stop only 50 metres away to take you to slopes up the valley to Le Tour or Grand Montets or Flegere and down the valley to Les Houches. Our thanks to Bernadette and her family for allowing us to use their wonderful chalet as our home from home for a truly memorable week. I really hope to return.
