The Perfect French stay

This very large and well appointed property exceeded all our expectations being in the beautiful French countryside. Sarah the owner was fantastic and made us all very welcome even providing us with details of local restaurants and local places to visit. The property was spotless with all the amenities required for a short as well as a longer stay. There is a small village 10 mins away by bike ride where one of our group went for fresh croissants most mornings. The Pool was heated and again very well maintained which we all enjoyed on the very warm days! We would have no hesitation in returning to this property and it`s owners as we all agreed we couldn`t have wished for anything more.

What a great Week... !

This house is beautiful and pleasant to live in. Very well equipped and very comfortable. Inside or outside the house, you have all ! I was with my whole family (from my mother to my grandson) and they were all very happy about this moment ! Sarah is a great host, always available to answer our questions and always in a good mood ! I highly recommend this place !

Beyond Expectations: The Villa That Stole Our Hearts!

Our two families,ages ranging from 7 to 46, and our beloved dog had a spectacular time at this villa. The well-equipped kitchen and spacious dining area made preparing meals for 14 a breeze, and the outdoor BBQ added an extra layer of fun. The games room provided entertainment with meticulously maintained darts and pool setups, along with a variety of puzzles and games. The pool, always clean and comfortably warm, accommodated all ages. Accessibility was outstanding with flat floors, a ground floor bedroom, and a wet room for assisted showering. Bedrooms were generously sized, offering ample storage. Our dog revelled in the secure grounds, providing us with a delightful challenge to coax him into the car upon departure. While the location was wonderfully remote, a means of transportation is necessary for exploration beyond the villa. Nonetheless, the villa itself offers an abundance of opportunities for a restful and enjoyable break. We ventured out to local markets, indulged in a memorable visit to the zoo, and explored the nearby charming towns. Sarah and her husband were exceptional hosts, offering invaluable advice on the best places to go. They even went above and beyond by helping us order pizzas and arranging a vet appointment for our pup. In summary, our two-week stay was nothing short of amazing. We wholeheartedly recommend this gem to our friends. The photos simply don't do it justice. This holiday was an unforgettable experience that exceeded all our expectations!

Très belle maison

Très agréable séjour. Très belle maison bien équipée. Superbe piscine chauffée. Accueil impeccable Par contre un zéro pointé à la société Abritel qui ne m’a pas permis de payer la réservation en euros et qui n’a même pas daigné répondre à ma réclamation, occasionnant des frais de change qui auraient pu être évités.

Idéal pour un séjour en famille

Le gîte Beauvais est très confortable, très bien équipé et d’une propreté exemplaire. La piscine est très grande et toujours à bonne température grâce à son chauffage. L’accueil est parfait et les propriétaires sont très discrets mais toujours disponibles et de bon conseils. A vraiment recommander.

Vacances en famille

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine en famille (9 adultes, 6 enfants/bébés). La maison était d'une propreté irréprochable, très bien équipée avec du matériel de qualité. Les nombreux jeux (disponibles pour tout âge) ont bien occupé les enfants mais aussi les parents :-) (mini billard, fléchette...). La piscine chauffée a 29/30deg était juste incroyable, merci Sarah pour votre accueil, nous garderons tous des excellents souvenirs de ces vacances en famille.

Une maison fabuleuse pour toute la famille

Cette maison incroyable a su ravir toute notre famille ! Nous sommes partis avec tous les enfants de 1 à 20 ans , parents et grands-parents : tout le monde a trouvé un espace dans cette immence maison décorée avec goût. Les pièces de vie sont très grandes, la terrasse immense avec la piscine a eu beaucoup de succès. La cuisine est tres bien équipée, la salle de jeux géniale pour les petits dans la journée et les ados le soir. Il y a de nombreuses activités possibles : la venise verte en barque, le kayak, les mines d argent de Melle , l'eglise saint Hilaire etc (voiture nécessaire) Sarah notre hôte était charmante et extrêmement disponible Un séjour ideal pour se retrouver et se reposer en famille

Séjour détente à la campagne

Propriétaire très accueillante et attentionnée (fruits, boissons, et pain nous attendaient dès notre arrivée). La maison est idéalement située pour passer des vacances au calme en famille. Vous trouverez tout ce dont vous avez besoin dans cette maison. Les atouts de cette maison, ce sont ses installations et équipements: cuisine très bien équipée, jeux pour enfants de tout âge, vélos pour les petits et grands, extérieur avec parasol, barbecue, piscine chauffée. L'intérieur et l'extérieur de la maison sont très spacieux (terrasse et énorme jardin) et d'une propreté irréprochable. Le linge de lit et serviettes sont fournis. Nous avons apprécié faire des balades en vélo en admirant les champs à perte de vue. Les produits locaux, on en trouve aux Vergers de Vendée à Saint Hilaire des Loges, les p'tits amoureux à Ardin ou Niort, le marché de Niort (celui de Coulonges l'Autize est petit). Lieux visités: le marais Poitevin, le villes de Fontenay-le comte (château de Terre Neuve), Niort, La Rochelle, l'ile de Ré. Voiture indispensable pour les déplacements. La maison nous manque déjà, il nous faut bien plus qu'une semaine pour profiter de la maison et de ses alentours.

Was das Herz begehrt...

Die Urlauber erwartet ein frisch renoviertes Haus, in dem an alles gedacht wurde. Geschmackvoll, pragmatisch, qualitativ hochwertig. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet, sogar für Profiköche, drei Bäder sorgen für reibungsloses Miteinander. Der Außenbereich mit einem großen Swimmingpool, genügend Liegen, einem überdachten Essplatz mit Außenkühlschrank und einem großzügigen Anwesen sorgen für Erholung, Ruhe und dennoch Abwechslung. Die kleinen Ortschaften in der Umgebung haben ihren eigenen Charme und viel Sehenswertes zu bieten, man muss sich allerdings damit beschäftigen. Es sind keine Touristenattraktionen, die einem sofort ins Auge fallen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es im Radius von acht Kilometern genügend. Was man nicht erwarten darf, ist eine ausgiebige Gastronomielandschaft, hierfür muss man etwas weiter wegfahren, z. B. nach Niort, 16 Kilometer entfernt. Sarah und Tom sind die perfekten Gastgeber! Herzlich, nett, unkompliziert und sofort zur Stelle, sollte ein Problem auftreten. Ein wunderschöner Urlaub für uns Sieben, der leider viel zu schnell zu Ende gegangen ist.

Excellentes prestations

Superbe propriété fonctionnelle et très agréable. Nous avons eu du très bon temps et avons passé de superbes vacances. L’équipement est super complet pour tous les âges et est en très bon état et très bien entretenu. Notre hôte Sarah a été très pro en étant à l’écoute et très prévoyante. Séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine de vacances avec un groupe de 12 personnes entre amis. La maison a de beaux espaces, au calme et dans un très bon état. Les propriétaires ont été très accueillant et malgré un petit soucis de communication (de notre faute) Mme Clifford à été très conciliante. Je recommande vivement cette location !

Beautiful space perfect for family retreats

We utterly enjoyed our recent stay, from start to finish we felt welcome and had everything we needed for a perfect family break. Sarah was extremely kind and hospitable and we felt we were staying with friends rather than renting a property. Having arranged this as a surprise birthday gathering for my father I can safely say that all guests were very pleasantly surprised by the large scale of the property and all the amneties - the games room and outdoor BBQ was a particular favourite! Within close proximity to Niort and other smaller villages, we had everything we needed a short drive away but opted for cosy nights in and big family dinners. If the opportunity strikes I would encourage a stay at this property!

A beautiful gem in tranquil countryside

Sarah's house is a real gem. It's beautifully decorated throughout with lots of thought given to creating cosy spaces within the open plan ground floor. This was absolutely perfect for socialising together with our family while giving everyone enough space. The kitchen is well equipped with a lovely large range cooker and a large fridge freezer and ice maker. We had no problems cooking nice dinners for our large family. The games room was really great and provided lots of entertainment with the pool table in near constant use after the kids were in bed! The outside area is where this place comes into its own and is what made us stop in our tracks when we first arrived The field in the back is very large and green with trees dotted around so the view is uninterrupted countryside. This gives the place a good sense of privacy and tranquility. The BBQ area, again has been set up with socialising in mind, with a built in grill and cooking area and a large table for the whole family. The pool is very inviting; it's large and clean with lots of loungers, umbrellas and inflatables to keep everyone happy. The upstairs was again beautifully decorated. The bathrooms were spacious and the bedrooms comfortable with lots of storage for our clothes. The location is remote which was absolutely perfect for us. We enjoyed cycling in the countryside and visiting the local towns from our base and the large supermarket was only 10 minutes drive away. The place is very kid friendly with a cot, high chair and bed guard in the house. The toy box was also a big hit. There is no guard around the pool so we needed to be vigilant with put life vests on our little ones but it wasn't a hassle. And the pool cover is quite simple to take off an on which is a bonus The house is very newly renovated and as such is squeaky clean in all areas. Sarah the host was excellent in her communication and generously helped us throughout our stay. We had a lovely holiday and would definitely stay there again. This is a perfect place for large groups who want to spend quality time together in very relaxing surroundings.

Fabulous place

This property is a fantastic find. A dream home for your holiday with a well maintained heated pool which entertained all ages, and a pool table in a games room for some down-time. The house is beyond what you might hope for with lots of bedroom space and lots of places for groups to sit in sofas, at tables, at breakfast bar or on the patio. Everything for families was available including plasticware for safe poolside; and wifi for inside and outdoors. Added bonuses in the property include large grassy garden at the back with room for football; and the barbecue area has both shade and sunshine. The area is beautiful, with lots of activities in local area for families - abbey, chateaux, local zoo, bird sanctuary, and rich with local culture and french cuisine. This is an exceptional property, which offers a superb holiday destination.

Solid oak stairs lead up to spacious oak floored bedrooms. Downstairs is tiled throughout for clean living.

The property is situated in a small hamlet surrounded by acres of well-tended arable land, the many farm tracks between the fields are ideal for some lovely walks (about an hour to the nearest bar/restaurant) especially if you have dogs.
A downstairs bedroom and wet room make this property ideal for wheelchair users.
