As of September 1, 2024, the Lisbon authorities have implemented a city tax increase. This municipal tax is €4 per person, per night and is not included in the total price of your accommodation. It must be paid in cash upon arrival. This tax is charged to guests aged 13 and older. It is subject to a maximum amount of €28 per person.
Please note that, in accordance with Portuguese law, I am required to provide passport/ID details about my guests to the local authorities. On the day of check-in, please fill out the form that I will provide.
This apartment is duly registered under number 61579/AL in the National Tourism Registry of Portugal.
The apartment is located in a historic Portuguese building that is almost 100 years old, typical of traditional architecture. As is usual in old buildings, there is no elevator. The stairs (80 steps to the apartment) are safe and well lit, and this detail is part of the charm and authenticity of the building. When necessary, I help with large suitcases.
The Graça neighborhood, located on one of the highest hills in Lisbon, is one of the most charming and authentic places in the city, ideal for those who want to experience the “real” Lisbon, with incredible views, quiet corners, and lots of history.
The Graça neighborhood is known for its viewpoints with incredible views, Miradouro da Senhora do Monte( It is located on the street where the apartment is, 3 minutes away on foot.) and Miradouro da Graça, historic streets, and peaceful atmosphere.
A few minutes' walk away you will find Alfama, São Jorge Castle, traditional cafés, urban art, and the Cerca da Graça Garden—perfect for exploring the city on foot.
The famous tram 28 stops at the beginning of the apartment's street, making getting around the city very convenient and enjoyable.
A few minutes' walk from the apartment, there are several supermarkets, shops, grocery stores, cafés, bars, pharmacies, squares, and restaurants where you can enjoy typical Portuguese food.
The house is open plan and consists of:
A space with a double bed (upon request), ideal for relaxing after a day exploring the city -
the two single beds can be joined to form a double bed measuring 180cm x 200cm.
Guests must inform us at the time of booking if they want a double bed or two single beds.

Important information for arriving at the house:
- TAXI/UBER/BOLT – approx. 15 minutes from Lisbon Airport
- METRO - 40 minutes from Lisbon Airport to Martim Moniz.
At the airport, take the red line to Alameda. At Alameda, change to the green line to Martim Moniz. At Martim Moniz, either walk (20 minutes uphill) or take Tram 28 (only small bags allowed on board) or Bus 734 (small bags).
After a day exploring Lisbon, you'll want to get home to enjoy the end of the day on the magnificent terrace.
