In the Dalarna on the border with Västmanland and with a unique location on the southern tip of Lake Barken lies our farm, which used to be a farmhouse and is surrounded by beautiful meadows, horse pastures and forest.
The 2 ha large plot surrounding the house consists of two uninhabited outbuildings and a barn. A stream meanders around the site to our own beach and deck/bridge. Flower gardens and ecological vegetable- land, barbecue area by the forest mountain above the lake and a huge and lovely lawn that broadly covers the rest of the garden.
Our light & genuine old-timbered farmhouse of 176 m2 is built on two floors and basement with a fantastic view of the lake.
Upstairs is the suite with queenbed, sofa group, TV and fireplace. Freshly new refurbished Bathroom & walking closet with both shower and bath. Entrance level with large spacious fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Teenager room with single bed exterdable for 2 single madrasses together. Beautifully renovated living room (approx. 42 m2) with 2 built-in wooden beds, cosy chimeny , sofa group and dining area with TV and music system. In the basement level, with access to the garden there is a bathroom, shower & laundry room and the sauna.
Cot and baby cot are available if needed.

Only 12 minutes to Fagersta center with train & bus station, shops, restaurants, sports and swimming hall, clothes and much more. From our lake Barken, you can get by boat to Mälaren and Stockholm through Strömsholm's canal and all its locks.
The farm is fantastic to experience during all the seasons of the year. Here you can hike in scenic forests and nearby nature reserves, cycle or ride on forest roads, pick berries and mushrooms, fishing (year-round), canoeing, rowing and motorboats, play golf, sunbathe and swim on your own beach, go wakeboard, water ski and kneeboard, skiing on the slopes, skating, skiing and much more !!. Golf course and equestrian center are only 3 km from the farm and Cablepark with water sports activities is 6 km from us. We have canoes, rowing and motor boats, surfboards, bicycles, fishing gear, etc. you can use.
