Peaceful haven close to fabulous gorges

Really high quality living area and excellent pool which was big enough for a proper swim. Joannas, which is 300 metres below L’Orangerie, is a very pretty and very quiet village and L’Argentiere is 10 minutes drive away and charming. It was very hot when we were there which meant keeping the house shut up and fans on full blast (there is no air conditioning). The garden is not ‘pretty’ and instead has an eccentric arrangement of box hedges and no summer flowers, but it has lovely views of the hill all around. The gorges were the high spot - such fun to swim or kayak in the Ardeche and the mountain streams running into it with fantastic swimming spots in the Beame only 15 minutes away by car

Petit paradis

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine au calme dans cette superbe demeure faite avec goût. La piscine a ravi les enfants comme les parents. La vue sur le village de Joannas et ses environs est particulièrement magnifique. L’endroit est protégé de l’affluence touristique permettant un repos très appréciable, tout en étant proche des principaux sites habituellement visités (45 min de Vallon-Pont-d’Arc, grotte Chauvet, Thueyts, tour de Brison, Joyeuse, Aubenas…). De petits villages autour à découvrir comme Largentière. Merci pour l’accueil, la disponibilité de Christophe et la communication avec Franck et Aude. Une maison au top dans les hauteurs de Joannas

Un superbe séjour dans cette très belle maison. Tout est prevu pour que lon puisse se sentir tout de suite très bien : l'accueil de Christophe, l'équipement de la maison, la vue incroyable et une vraie piscine suffisamment longue pour nager ! Les environs sont tops et la coopérative bio à Rocles est parfaite pour bien manger ! Sports de rivière et rando, un vrai séjour détente ! On recommande vivement !

Geweldige locatie met prachtig zicht op het dorp en de omliggende bergen.

We hebben 2 zonnige weken mogen doorbrengen in het huis van Franck & Aude. Geweldige plek om te vertoeven met een heerlijk zwembad. We hebben genoten van de rust, de natuur en het huis. Door de toch wel hoge temperaturen overdag, werd het huis in de loop van de dag behoorlijk warm. Op de bovenverdieping was het 's nachts moeilijk slapen door een gebrek aan frisse lucht. Voor de rest zeer comfortabel. De contacten met Christophe verliepen correct en zeer gemoedelijk. Een aanrader!

L’orangerie est un point de chute idéal pour visiter la région ou se ressourcer. La maison est bien équipée et la vue sur le village et les environs sont splendides. Le propriétaire est par ailleurs absolument adorable. Merci pour cette jolie semaine en Ardèche !
