Amazing vacation!

It was the perfect place for a great family trip with grandparents, parents and our little kids. The rooms are all so spacious with king sized beds and everyone had their own bathrooms. We really appreciated how well stocked it was, especially the kitchen. The owners were very accommodating for our needs. The condo was exactly as advertised and the view was even better. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful View From a Beautiful Room

This 3 bedroom 3 bath suite is in an excellent location. There was ample room for our family of 8. The kitchen exceeded our expectations. The room had everything we needed.

Our stay was exactly what we hoped for. The place was perfect. Great location on the island and great location within the resort. My only complaint is that we didn’t stay long enough. This is a property that you will want to book again shortly after checking out.

Wonderful property!

This is an amazing property with very responsive hosts. We had just one issue likely related to the property not having been used for a while during the shutdown for the Lahaina fires, and within two hours the owners had addressed it. Highly recommend a stay here!

Can't wait to return!

The Konea 329 was the perfect launching pad for our family. The property is modern, clean, and has everything you need. We cooked meals in the kitchen, enjoyed the view, and were very comfortable. Kids loved the pools, ocean, all right out the door. Other accommodations are close, easy access to restaurants, Lahaina is close. Highly recommend!

Magnificent views, great location - book now!

I highly recommend staying here! The location of the condo was superb as it is a centered condo so the view was magnificent - pool and ocean views! We took advantage of the outdoor/indoor living space and spent a lot of our time on the patio. There was enough space for 6 adults and 2 children under 2 to enjoy themselves. It was very nice that each bedroom had their own designated bathroom. One bedroom’s bathroom was across the hall and not connected to the room but we had no issues with the privacy. The condo had everything we needed for our stay, especially the kitchen, enough utensils and pots/pans to make a delicious home cooked meal. The laundry was such a huge bonus but the dryer didn’t dry clothes properly so we had to run the dryer longer. One issue we encountered that was inconvenient was parking - only one car has designated parking in the ramp so if you’re traveling with more than one car finding parking was difficult, especially at night. Most nights we parked a half a block away from the condo and walked back. The location of the condo was very convenient. There was a grocery store across the street, which we ran to a couple of times during our stay. We also ate at the local food trucks across the street a couple of nights and loved all the options available. The island contact made herself available to us, which we appreciated but we didn’t need any assistance during our stay so we kept our communication to a minimal. Overall, I would book this condo again!

We have stayed at Honua Kai several times and this unit is the best one we have had so far. Everything was as Mike and Cindy advertised, and once we got there Michelle was in contact with us and ready to help if needed.

Great property for the entire family

Second stay in this resort and it was as good as the last time. Great location in Kaanapali and right on the water. This unit was especially nice as it accomodated our family of 6. Would stay again. These hosts and property manager were real easy to work with too.

The perfect condo for family and friends

The owners are outstanding and so wonderful to deal with. We had this booked two and a half years ago and covid hit. We thought we were going to be out of luck and lose out on our holiday, but they let us rebook; More than once! We arrived for our ten day stay with our two daughters and some dear friends and the condo was exactly as described. Two master suites and a third bedroom that let us have a king bed or two singles. The common area was spacious, clean and perfect for other friends to stop by and enjoy group meals or after supper drinks. Parking was easy and the property manager Michelle was so helpful and on top of everything. Cannot say enough about this unit. Mahalo, Thank you, Merci.

Wonderful place for most the most part, a few hiccups

I will start off by saying that despite some of my criticisms, I would recommend this location. But in order for a place to get better you have to share this stuff. This location is ideal. I have been to Maui several times and Lahaina/Kaanapali is where you want to be. You have great access to activities, beautiful beaches, restaurants and shopping. You are right in the center of the building with ocean and pool views. The Condo was much like it is described. Very clean. Great amenities. Stocked with just about everything you needed. The rooms were spacious. The beds were very comfortable. The resort itself is great. Lots of pools and hot tubs. The slide is great fun for both adults and kids. The restaurant, Dukes is very convenient and right there in front of the resort on the beach. Decent Food. Would recommend breakfast over anything else. The contact for the resort/condo was great. She as very quick to respond and was very clear on directions for checking in and out. Sh was very feiendly and easy to work with. Now just a few things that weren't the best (again wouldn't deter me from recommending): 1) Be aware that one of the 3 bathrooms isn't connected to the room itself. It's across the hall and more of a guest bath. My husband and I stayed in the room that used that bathroom and we were totally content. But just be aware if you are expecting more privacy. 2) If you have stayed at this resort before, which we have in another condo, be aware that this owner does not participate in the towel program. Basically you get these wrist bands that get you into your room but they are also used to get beach towels. We were not aware that this owner didn't participate so we were counting on having access to unlimited pool and beach towels 3) The condo did have 6 beach towels which was very helpful. IF the dryer worked. So the dryer latch was broken (prior to our arrival) and would not stay closed and would stop the dryer after about 5 seconds. We tried shoving a pillow against the door and dryer door to keep it closed but it didnt work. So we were not able to use the washer and dryer all week. Which is very frustrating when you have salt water over everything. The resort contact was kind enough to bring us some extra bath towels. But it still didnt really make up for it. 4) We couldn't get the gas stove to work properly. Would try to relight on its own. Took 2 hours to cook baked potatoes. 5) Had to reset the washer to get it working
