Beautiful Property & Excellent Location

This property is beautiful and in the perfect location. Very large in size finished to a very high standard inside. Located in a quiet street but only a 5 min walk to shops, restaurants and bars. Only a further 10 min walk to the lovely Marina of Port Adriano Would not hesitate in recommending this property A*

Very nice house in a quiet neighborhood not far from the beach (10min by car to port Adriano), the village of el Toro is quiet, the house has excellent amenities as advertised, communication with Fran was excellent, he was very responsive and helpful

Great location with a neighborhood feel

Ideal location, close to Palma (and just about everything) but in a quiet area. Port Adriano near by has a great beach, marina and restaurants. The main street (around the corner) has all essentials. The host and concierge were great on communication. I recommend stopping to get some basic supplies before check-in (coffee, paper towels, utensils, etc). The house had towels, tp, cookware, plates and tennis rackets/balls. Looking forward to our next stay!

Villa Tesoro, Calvia Majorca Family Holiday

About 30 min from the airport,the villa is first class, maintained to a high standard, well appointed and with all facilities. The check in process was facillitated by the attendance of the frielndly Concierge upon our arrival, offering advice on appliances and local informtion.The nearest shops restaurant were a 5-10 min walk, and Port Adriano with more upmarket restaurants only 15min away. Would have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone seaking a quiet relaxing holiday

Fabulous holiday

We had a fabulous stay at el Tesoro. The location is absolutely perfect and the little Cala that’s a short walk away is so beautiful and amazing for swimming. We couldn’t really fault anything except for the tennis court. We had some tennis instructors staying and they were keen to play but didn’t really as it’s not in great condition. Excellent place to stay, so many great places and restaurants closeby and Fran and Colin were very helpful. Thanks for a very memorable 2 weeks!

A Beautiful Villa

This house was great, overall. The grounds/pool were beautiful and the house was clean and spacious. If you decide to stay here you won’t be disappointed, but be prepared to buy many necessities such as hand soap and toilet paper, as minimal amounts were supplied. Fran, the neighbor was helpful with check-in and quickly responded to all of my questions. El Toro is a quiet little town, but there were still a great variety of restaurants within walking distance. The beach at Port Adriano, also within walking distance, was one of the most beautiful ones we visited.

Holiday stay July/August 2022

Overall we were impressed with the villa. Disappointed there was no safe as advertised. Upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms very nice. Bedrooms 4 & 5 downstairs need updating. The bed in 4 advertised as a queen but is a double. Extension cable across the floor of no. 5 not good if young children are using it. The hob didn't work nor did the ceiling fan on the veranda, which was needed as it was very hot. The aircon was very efficient. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful villa with everything you’d need

We were a group of 7 women celebrating our birthdays and Colin’s villa was exactly what we needed and hoped for. The villa is lovely and spacious, so much room for a large group of people. Huge amount of outdoor space, both sunny and shaded, including the upstairs veranda. We spent most of our time in or around the pool. The house is modern, kitchen fully equipped, all bathrooms are newly renovated and the beds are comfortable. Secure gates and a quiet residential road made the house feel peaceful and safe. The location is perfect - short walk to local bars/restaurants and the supermarket. A few minutes more to the marina (lots of bars and restaurants) and beach. We hired paddleboards which was great fun. Beautiful shallow and calm sea, big soft sandy beach that was uncrowded - no fighting for space! The marina has so many fantastic restaurants, but we visited La Terrazza twice during our stay - food and service was superb, looking out over the marina. Also recommend pre-dinner cocktails at Pure Salt Adriano hotel which overlooks the sea! We had everything we needed and had a fantastic holiday. Colin and his housekeeper Fran were very friendly and helpful, making our stay as comfortable as possible. Very much recommend!

Beautiful villla with fantastic outdoor space

We have been to Majorca several time in different locations, but Villa Tesoro beat them all. Colin, Margaret and the next door neigbour Fran, welcomed us for an earlier check-in with fresh croissants and baguettes. The outdoor space is huge with different seating areas all with a different layout and furniture. The patio has a corner with sofas and on the opposite side a long table with comfortable chairs where we had breakfast and dinner almost every day. The rooms are all with air conditioning and they all have a lot of storage and are facing a huge terrace where there are extra sunbeds. The kitchen is really well stocked with all the pots and pans that you need for your stay, 2 fridges and a freezer. The tennis court needs a bit of care but nice to have. The location of the Villa is fantastic, it is a really quite area, very close to the shops and to Porto Adriano where there are great restaurants, our favorite is La Terrazza. Colin and Margaret are always available for any suggestions or any questions that you might have. Also, Fran and Maria, the next door neighbours, are always very keen to help if you need. Simona

Very disappointing

We had such great expectations - however we were greatly disappointed. The villa as such is nice and comfortable, however furniture is mostly old and some of it almost worn out. Outdoor - where you are most of the time on a summer holiday - was absolutely rubbish. At our arrival we had to spend several hours cleaning for dust before we could start our holiday. Outdoor furniture - apart from the dining area - is a complete joke. The covered garden lounge area consisted of half a sofa, which we had to ask to be taken away due to mould and a bad smell, a small sofa build by 3 pallets and 2 plastic chairs. Sunbeds were old white plastic with equally old sun-bleached mattresses. The pool though was large and nice. Lounge area under the portio was old and worn out Ikea, some of it broken and not at all a comfortable seating. The barbeque was rusty, disgusting and hidden away behind a maintenance house. We asked for a proper grill - the reply from the owner was, that he would supply one at a price of 200 GBP/week. We declined. After a week a very small grill (for 4 persons) suddenly arrived. Also the tenniscourt was a joke. The surface has been renovated in so many places and in such a bad way, that balls went in all unexpected directions. So be aware, that pictures on VRBO are not at all reflecting the quality of the villa and surroundings. Now - the above description may sound as if we are very difficult tenants - however we are not. We have rented villas all around Europe - quite often using VRBO - and we have always experienced a trustworthy description and a decent correlation between price and quality. This time unfortunately not at all - even though the villa is priced above most other villas of same quality.

Itse asuin talo siisti, makuuhuoneet tilavia. Kalustus mukava. Astiasta tossa paljon puutoksia, oli tarkoitettu 10:lle hengelle, lukuisia astioita puuttui. Lisäksi paljon muovi kuppeja, jotka eivät luksukseen kuulu. Kuivausrumpu täysin tukossa, jouduttiin availemaan. Uima-allas likainen, jouduimme olemaan ilman uintia neljä päivää!! Puhdistuksen takia. Lapsille tilanne hankala, koska oli kuumaa. Tennis kentän pinnoitus huono, sekä ympäristön reunat rikki, laattoja rikki ja lukuisia korjauksia jotka huonosti tehty. Aurinkotie tuolit surkeita, ylä terassilla käsittämättömän vanhoja, pinta kuin hiekkapaperia. Aurinko tuoleissa ei toppauksia, vanhoja kulahtaneita tuoleja. Ei voisi mainostaa luxuksena. mitäs muuta siis kuivuri surkee tuolit oli surkeita niin sitte tenniskentän pinta surkee ympäristö rikki monesta kohtaa vielä uima-altaan suihku todella surkea, Rimpula, ja allas ei vetänyt vettä. Pergolan Kalusteet eivät lainkaan luksusta. Kaiken kaikkiaan loma meni lasten kohdalta melko pieleen, koska uima-allasta ei voinut käyttää neljään päivään puhdistus töiden vuoksi. hinta oli korkea verrattuna siihen, mitä saimme. Ehdottaisin 20 prosentin hinnan palautusta.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Haus. der Pool.hatte eine super Temperatur und wir waren nur einen ca. 20minütigen Spaziergang vom port Adriano entfernt, wo es leckere Restaurants gibt.

Great time had by all.

House is in a great spot, level walking distance to shops, restaurants, beach and Port. Friendly residential area. House was very clean and well thought out. The kitchen was well stocked. Pool was a good size and there was plenty of shady and sunny spots to sit and relax. We were there with a few friends so it was easy for some to pop out for an early morning walk and coffee whilst others slept. We hired a car as we like to go somewhere new each day and El Toro is well positioned for that. Visiting Port Andratx and Puerto Portals were only 15/20 mins away. We would have popped into Palma had it not been so hot. I contacted Colin (owner) a few times before coming out and once whilst we were there. I had a quick response and he was very helpful. Thoroughly nice chap. I would recommend this villa to friends / family.

Fantastic property and location

Everything as described, made the most of the pool and tennis courts. Had a problem with the plumbing which although quickly resolved wasn’t pleasant.Lovely local area nice restaurants etc within 250 yards then a few minutes further on you have Port Adriano. In El Toro itself highly recommend Bistro49.

Fabulous stay in a beautiful villa

We had a wonderful time. The layout of the villa was ideal, with two sitting rooms and bedrooms up and downstairs, four having an en suite with shower. The location was ideal in the pretty town of El Toro, near to a nice street of bars and restaurants with a supermarket and the beautiful port and beach further down the road too. The swimming pool was fantastic and we had sun throughout the day, with nice sun beds and a couple pretty seating areas where we could take time out from the sun and dine. The main bedroom/en suite is beautiful and the kitchen is all kitted out with new equipment, utensils etc. We did have a plumbing issue which took a few days to be resolved, but Colin and his housekeeper were in contact throughout. Also, two of the three bedrooms upstairs are without air con and could probably do with having it, especially since we had the heat wave during our stay! Colin was really helpful and we will definitely return in the next couple years if we can afford it. Thanks for our stay 👍
